Where oh where is my order
The reply to my previous review about a non delivery of a bottle of wine, advised me that due to technical issues the order had been cancelled and shells credited to my account.
I decided to reorder and on the 30 Nov I was advised that the order had reached the UK and would be delivered in 5 working days. Well the 5 days are now up and no sign of the order. Is this another case of technical issues forcing yet another cancellation. I had been hoping to serve the wine to guests at Christmas lunch, unfortunately looks like I will have to find an alternative.

The vanishing bottle of wine
Had previously collected enough shells to order and receive a bottle of Cardhu Whiskey. So when I had accumulated enough shells for a bottle of Irache Navarre Reserve red wine I duly ordered it. On 31 Oct I received an email that the wine was passed to GLS for shipment and it would take a maximum of 5 working days for delivery. I was able to track the journey until 6 Nov when I was advised it had reached the UK at 0715 am. Since then NOTHING. I contacted Nicequest on 11 Nov to see if they could help. Advised they would contact the supplier. Heard nothing since. Have also contacted GLS on their Complaint Form but no response. I know it is probably a busy time with Christmas on the horizon but surely someone could have the courtesy to keep me advised of the progress and when (OR IF) I am likely to receive the bottle of wine

I visited Specsavers to see if they could help with night vision glasses. I find that driving at night causes serious problems with glare especially in the rain . The young lady who saw me advised what I needed and arranged for a pair of glasses to be prepared. Two weeks later I saw the same young lady and had the glasses fitted. I have yet to use them but I am hoping the problems with my night time driving will be greatly improved.
