First order from here and very impressed
First order from here and very impressed. the product I bought was on sale for £6.99 each when elsewhere they were £29.99. ordered a few days before Christmas with free delivery and they arrived on Christmas eve morning in a nice sturdy box. products inside in excellent condition and I would not hesitate to buy from Geek Store again
They used to have the crown for customer service. not anymore
I came on here to see if other people agree that Amazon's customer service is very bad compared to what it used to be and it seems a lot of people agree
I've been buying from them for over 13 years now and in the past they would do everything they could to keep customers happy
As people have pointed out in the past late deliveries used to get a month prime extension and next day meant next day well not any more.
I've had to contact customer services 7 times recently for a range of issues and whilst I don't believe the agents are any worse than they used to be one thing has changed and that is Amazon's policies. They don't really care about their customers any more because they have so many who cares if a few thousand are left annoyed. It should be noted that Amazon did not win the UK customer service award last year and that should have given them the kick up the backside to reclaim their crown but instead that have opted to get worse.
so my personal issues
1) I was sent a letter in August saying come back to prime until November 22nd and we will give you a £10 credit. I did and still am yet no credit arrived in my account so I had to do a live chat and mess about for over an hour explaining the promo. sending a pic of the letter and they eventually added it but the system should have done it automatically.
2) They ran a promo on black Friday where if you spent £200 you got a £20 credit added to your account. yes you guessed it I never got it so I had to speak to an agent who checked out my order numbers and confirmed I was eligible and if it was not in by the system by tomorrow to contact them and they will add it manually which they did but again I had to contact them 2 times for something that should be automatic. I met the terms I did my part of the deal. I saw online that many others also had issues with this promotion and had to manually get it added of course their system then looks like you have been give free money when its nothing you were not entitled to
3) I had a £165 hard drive delivered from Italy as part of their black Friday sale but it was poorly packaged so the box was able to freely move about from side to side banging the hard drive I dread to think how many times on its journey here. I did not want to return the item as its a gift and I would not be able to purchase another as the price was double what I paid and it was out of stock anyway so they could not offer a replacement. in the end they offered me a measly 10% refund but for something sensitive like a hard drive they are meant to be kept as still as possible and can be damaged internally. ironically I find Amazon packages are usually over packed with paper or those air cushions but at least things arrive in one piece. had the packer had stuffed some more brown paper in the box it would have prevented the internal box moving at all.
4) They had another promo recently which was £5 off a £25 spend and I was eligible for it so I was literally just about to place an order for an xbox controller when the price went from £32.99 to £49.99 so I thought i'm not paying that and checked multiple times each day to see if they price had reduced. it didn't so it got to 11:30pm last night and I decided to order the cheaper one at £39.99 went to use the code which had been sitting applied to my account all week and it refused to work even though the voucher was not due to run out until midnight. I contacted live chat and they said as the offer had ended there was nothing they could do even though I contacted them before the voucher time ran out. granted it was only by 1 minute but the terms said it expires at midnight so I requested them to add the £5 to my account or refund £5 off the purchase which is nothing I wouldn't have got had the voucher of worked as it should. got nowhere so it said give us another chance. explained it to a second agent and got nowhere again. sent an email got no reply
5) This morning for some reason £5 of promo credit I was given as compensation for another issue had vanished from my account. so eventually they offered to reinstate it. once again I explained about the voucher above and got nowhere so she transferred me to someone else and got nowhere with him either. so 5 people for a £5 voucher which means nothing to greedy Amazon. it looks like I'm asking them for free money but its nothing I wouldn't have got had their voucher have applied as it should have. they have said they will pass my feedback from all the above to the technical team to ensure these promo issues don't happen in the future which is great but it doesn't solve my problem now. after 3 hours talking to 5 people I gave up on it and won't be placing the order at all so they have lost a £40 order for the sake of £5 which I was eligible for but of course £40 is like 1p to Jeff Bezoz so why would they care.
I think its fair to say that Amazon will not be winning the crown for customer service this year based on many reviews on here and people I speak to generally agree Amazon is not what it once was
I am always completely truthful with the agents and they are welcome to review my previous chats to see what I say is correct and its important to remember not to take your frustrations out on the agents. if the system says they can't do anything then they can't do anything. I don't agree with it and will argue my case but always remain polite and friendly with them even if I don't get the outcome I want as its not them at fault its Amazon's new policies which seem to not care about keeping customers happy anymore
I should also add Amazon that your lightning deals used to be exciting, we had to guess what certain things were from clues. signed CD's would sell out in seconds. Games consoles in 2 seconds. I never got one but it was fun and exciting now you just sell any old tat at 10%-20% off and they are anything but lightning with 99% of them timing out and not selling out 8 hours later. I hate the new layout of the deals. I do not have time to scroll though 1,500 items a day over 50 pages. the previous design of 6 items in a carousel and you just clicked an arrow to quickly see the next 6 was so much easier to manage
They lie about how much you are saving. I recently saw a travel game version of "weird things humans search for". they made out it was £40 reduced to £6.50 odd something like 83% off. yeah right when has it ever been sold for £40 when your normal price is around £10 and the RRP for the full game is £25. it was a good saving but why lie?
Other examples are when they say you are saving x from the RRP but Amazon's normal price more often than not is just a pound or 2 higher than the amazing deal price so not the 35% advertised more like 5%
Now they have such a stranglehold on the market and have forced many businesses to go bust the prices are creeping up and they are now not cheapest for many items. Introducing the £20 minimum spend for free delivery put me off purchasing many items when I'm not a prime member as I'm not going to make each order up to £20 just for the sake of it and I'm not paying £4 delivery for an item which is only twice that price. The add on programme can also be annoying too as even as a prime member if I want something I have to spend a minimum of £20 to get it. as a result Amazon you lose sales. Price matching is also something else you should do as long as the customer can provide evidence of another online store selling it at that price
I like many here used to shout Amazon's praises from the rooftops. they did everything they could to keep customers happy and often exceeded expectations but just look at the reviews Amazon. id say 85% of them are negative . get your act together. You once were unrivalled for customer satisfaction. how is the survey going this year. at the top? nope, top 10? maybe
edit 29th December - My parcel was showing as out for delivery from around 12:30pm and I was looking at its live tracking around 3pm it said it was 7 stops away and was estimated for 16:30-18:15 so that time came and went and the live tracking stopped showing but it said it would come by 9pm so 9pm came and went as did 10pm. it was approaching midnight and the site still said it was coming today when it clearly was not so I asked if they could see what had happened to it. on this occasion I was pleased with the service I got he said it would b delivered tomorrow and there was a problem with the courier and offered to refund me £7.99 for my months prime which I was happy with. I understand its a busy time of year but why say its 7 stops away when its not then to say on the site its coming today until 10pm when its not just say its not coming and then people are not waiting around for it
Nice products but painfully slow delivery
Placed my second order on 16th November its now 17th December and still shows as processing. I appreciate its a custom product with a drone number but a month and still not sent is shockingly poor service in 2019 - zero chance of it coming in time for Christmas now so the drone would be illegal to fly on Christmas day. USPS - International Express with Tracking
I placed my first order on 29th November 2018 to protect a new apple watch which was not used until Christmas day. by the time it came my watch had been unprotected for a month so I never actually used the wrap. USPS Priority - 5-15 Business Days with Tracking - USPS. took over 6 weeks
The products are nice but don't order from here if you want it quick.
I don't call a 5 week period quick either and you can't use the excuse of it being over the busy Christmas period as it should have been here early December
Edit: My order has finally been sent on 20th December, 34 days after the order was placed
started off good but now i feel its a waste of time
Looking back at my shell history I received 1 amazon £25 gift card over a year ago
I expected to get my second 1 around 6 months ago but as I got close it not only increased to £50 as the minimum amazon reward but the number of shells needed then increased by around 180 which I was not impressed with but thought a £50 payout will be nice. As I got to something like 20 shells away from getting my £50 amazon gift card I noticed the £50 option had been replaced by £100 and at that point I started to lose interest but thought it will come back (2 months on it has not and I doubt it will based on the replies on here). Why keep going for another year when they could just remove Amazon as an option completely or push it up to a £200 gift card?. no sorry I've had nothing from you for over a year and I lost all interest in continuing. I started to delete the email notifications and just did the odd 1 so I could check the rewards on the site which seem to be getting worse and worse including the selection of gift cards so tonight reluctantly I've cashed in all my shells for £50 of iTunes vouchers which I don't want but faced with that or anything else on the site its better than nothing which I think would be the case if I carry on hoping for a smaller Amazon voucher to come back and if they do well done to those who held out but I was not prepared to get nothing for my years time and effort if they were to close down
We are sorry that you weren't satisfied with your experience at Nicequest.
We understand, but at the moment we only have £100 Amazon Gift Cards available. We can't confirm if or when £50 Amazon Gift Cards will be in stock again.

You really need to start offering lower…
You really need to start offering lower amazon gift cards again or you are going to have very few people left doing the survey's
For the last month I've seen the email notifications of a new survey and I just think why bother. the only reward I was interested in was the amazon gift card and the thought of another 6 months to a year to hit the £100 threshold does not appeal to me and who is to say it won't be £200 by then. I don't feel I'm getting anything back from you now so I'm considering cashing out my £50 on iTunes vouchers not because I want those but because I get something for my time and I will then terminate my participation in your surveys as I have no motivation to do them anymore.
I understand its down to suppliers but I'm not interested in any of the other poorer rewards. The place I used to do the surveys with was better and I was forced to join nicequest which at the start was good but if they can't afford to pay out it makes you wonder how long its going to last

First time trying these kind of pills…i was impressed with Manual
First time trying these kind of pills and although I've only used one so far it works and I was impressed. The introductory price is competitive and the only reason I won't be continuing with the subscription is because I've found similar online at registered UK pharmacy's half the usual sub price if you buy in bulk.
Only slight negative was when I placed my order you needed me to send a form of ID but I had no idea as I got no email communication so after a week I logged into the site to see what the delay was and then saw the request for ID. it was quickly resolved and my order arrived a few days later in a nice box. The presentation is nice but maybe cut down on the size of the plastic pouches each pill comes in as you could probably fit all 10 in 1 pouch with how big they are which seems like a waste of single use plastic and I know the presentation wouldn't look as impressive but you could then also reduce the size of the box too saving you money
Disappointing and losing interest in continuing
I get sick of every survey asking me if I'm male or female and my age to then be asked the same thing again seconds later. You are often asked which part of the UK you live in multiple times too.
The patronising questions like what are 1+3 and select the option never so we know you are paying attention have started to irritate me too oh and the "no interruptions" demand at the start of the survey
As others have said the "rewards" are getting worse all the time
When I first started doing these they offered a £25 amazon giftcard which was something you could achieve over a few months so you feel like you are actually getting something back for your time
This then increased to £50....initially offered at 740 shells and as I got closer suddenly it jumped to 965 shells. highly unfair to just add another 225 shells just like that less reward for more work
This week I finally got to the 965 shells and thought finally I can get the £50 Amazon voucher but no its gone and been replaced by one for £100. Sorry but I'm not going to wait another year to double my shells again to get something back and who is to say they won't just increase the shells needed or replace it with a £200 card.as you get near or worse still remove Amazon as an option completely? I'm not interested in any of the other "rewards" so to say I'm losing interest is an understatement
previous people have been told "We understand that you're upset, however, we cannot assure that each gift will always be available in our online shop. What you see available, is what you can redeem. This does not depend on us, it depends on our suppliers, including the gift cards"
I don't see what difference it makes to your suppliers when its a gift card whether they are offering 20 x £5, 10 x £10, 5 x £20, 4 x £25, 2 x £50 or 1 x £100. People are just going to stop doing the survey's if you don't start offering better rewards and lower threshold rewards
edit: I've been sent 2 surveys this week and to be honest I just think why bother so I haven't and I won't until you let me redeem my shells on an Amazon giftcard as that is the only reward I'm interested in. for now you will get nothing more out of me until I get my reward for the last years worth of my time.
Thank you for letting us know and we are sorry for the inconvenience caused.

not the easiest process for me but happy with the end result
First off following on from my previous review I did NOT provide them with my order details before recieving my product so you know this and my previous review is one you can trust, I did not receive any special treatment and I've been frank and honest in my frustration earlier in the process.
I ordered the platinum upper and lower in shade A1 and went for a straighter smile
I received my upper instasmile around 2 hours ago and first impressions are very good. I received my lower one a few weeks ago but have hardly worn it as it made my normal teeth look even worse than normal. The upper fits tightly which is what you want, after less than an hour the lisp I have is reducing and I'm delighted that it has finally lined up my upper teeth. I have 1 tooth that is further back than the others and from a distance it looks discoloured or even missing well not anymore. I went for the second whitest shade and I think I made the right decision as I ordered the upper and lower I went considerably whiter than my natural teeth which they describe as the whitest shade you can have if you have them professionally whitened whilst not fake looking with Hollywood or Simon Cowell blinding white which is the whitest shade they offer. A further unexpected result from this product is that its pushing my upper lip up slightly and out slightly which has reduced the amount of droop my upper lip has which makes me look less miserable with a neutral face
I decided before ordering this item that I would not eat or sleep with it in as I just can't take the risk of destroying the item with my underbite at £750 a time. They also say on the website that If you have an underbite you should not eat with it in.
My experience was not the easiest and I had to redo my impressions many times but we got there in the end. I did want to cancel it a couple of times within the first 14 day cooling off period worried the end product would look awful after reading the 900+ reviews on here some say you end up looking like you have horse teeth but I don't feel like that with mine, Yes they are slightly bigger than my natural teeth but then they have to be to fit over my natural teeth. My advice if you are having problems with the impressions is to stick with it I know how annoying it was having them rejected time and time again and I did think I'm not going to just keep paying out for more impression kits forever but then they need a perfect impression to make a product that fits perfectly. I ended up paying out an additional £50 in extra kits and they sent me a total of 3 rescue kits and a couple of extra sets of putty free of charge
Impressions: I read the instructions multiple times and watched the video multiple times and I was confident I knew what I was doing but I just could not get 1 tooth to stop catching the edge of the tray no matter what I tried. eventually a rescue kit where they send you some more putty in a syringe which you then put over the top of the impression and reposition exactly in the same position did the job at filling the tiny hole at the side however I found this quite a painful process as you have to lock it into place exactly as it was before and pushing a hard impression against my gum made it bleed considerably on the first attempt so I scrapped that. on the second attempt I was happy with it and on the 3rd attempt try as I did I just could not get my teeth back into the same position of the impression so that went to waste. Luckily when I sent off my second attempt at a rescue kit it was accepted and its made perfecting fitting veneers. In total I did 7 attempts at my upper
1st not deep enough
2nd not deep enough
3rd accepted but when checked in the lab was rejected
4th not clear enough - had some movement when doing the impression
I did all 3 of these together
5th - not happy with it so did a rescue kit and ended up with it covered in blood
6th - not happy with it so did a rescue kit and this was the one eventually used to create my product
7th - not happy with it and I just could not get it in the right position so it was wasted
as for the lower one I did 3 attempts at that
1st not deep enough
2nd not clear enough
3rd accepted
Communication - Initially very good but I did feel after the 14 day cooling off period replies took longer but maybe they were just busy. When my lower was delivered I had no notification it was coming. In fact I received an email a few days later saying my order was complete and would be delivered soon. With the upper I received no communication to say they had accepted my last attempt but looking on my account I saw it was in production. I did however receive an email saying the product was completed and It would be delivered soon. I also got a tracking email and it came the next day
in conclusion my initial impressions are very good. It was a frustrating process for me doing the impressions but maybe its just my mouth that was the problem and I'm glad I stuck with it and so far I am delighted with the finished product. I will update this review again if I have any issues with it but I would recommend you get one and know that the company is not a scam, you will get your product
one thing I would like to see is a change to the refund process. its very difficult to get a refund after the 14 days as seen on reviews here and its just not possible to get the impressions sent off and have the product made within that time. I myself have been hit by 3 bank holidays during my 2 month process. I think they should say 14 days after you receive the product as the chance to cancel it if you are not happy with it that would give people the peace of mind that there is no risk if you don't like it send it back and get your money back
Id also like to see them provide a little sample of the product in the impressions kit of the 4 shades they make as you can't really make a decision based on a few pics online. If they provided a sample you could hold the shades up to your mouth and see which one you think would suit you best
Finally one way they could make them look even more real would be to take little tiny bits out of the tips like most people have with their natural teeth from biting into things
Had 6 orders from Iceland so far
Had 6 orders from Iceland so far
first 5 came with everything we ordered and no replacements.
The 6th order had an alternative chicken strip to the one I wanted but it was the other 1 in the range that I like so its acceptable
The bakery items are lovely especially the white baps they make. If I could have them delivered every few days I would but sadly we don't need £35 worth of food every 3 days so I usually only get a few days of having them every couple of months
Now for the less positive
They had a promotion for £5 off a £40 spend but when I tried to amend my order it would not accept the code again so I cancelled the order and placed an exact copy of the cancelled order and once again the code would not be accepted. they need to remove the restriction that stops you re-entering a code to a changed order. I emailed them asking if they could provide me with a new £5 code as they could see the order using the previous 1 was cancelled or refund the £5 once the order is delivered but received no reply in the 24 hours from placing the order and its been delivered right now. Hopefully they will refund the money.
I often get emails with discount codes saying spend £60 this week and get £10 off your next order of £60 or more - its great except we don't need to spend £60 on food this week and if we did we definitely would not have the space in the freezer to then spend another £60 the week after so these promotions are totally pointless for me. something like £5 off a £30 spend is much more reasonable and the date to spend them is usually a week after you place the first order which for a lot of people who don't have Iceland as their main shop simply don't have the space to replace that amount of food just a week later
overall impressed and I love their products which are competitively priced
update: sent Iceland an email saying I could not reapply the code once I changed my order and they have refunded my £5 I would have saved with those code
THE WORST SERVICE EVER
My dad returned an item last year and they say they did not receive it. the man on the phone was so rude and just would not listen. seriously that man wants sacking from a customer service position. My dad was absolutely furious when he came off the phone. absolutely disgusting and we will NEVER buy from this disgusting company again
Don't bother replying you had your chance
Apologies for the delay in posting this review too. I must have saved it as a draft and forgot to post it
Good product - Lower delivered, Upper coming soon
I'm going to update this review as the process continues and I'm not going to provide them with my order number until I have my product so I don't get any special treatment which could make my review biased - I want this product to be right badly as its not cheap and I hate my natural teeth but I also want people to see a review they can trust and know they can order with confidence
First off I have been thinking about getting these for 3 months, I've read all 1,900 reviews on here and every post on their Facebook page. They had an offer on for £100 off and it was ending a couple of days later so I finally went for it...the offer was then extended over the Easter holiday which I think is a bit disingenuous as they were telling people on Facebook it ended midnight tonight when clearly they knew it wouldn't but it has now finished. I've also been told that they have no plans to run a similar discount soon so that also encouraged me to purchase when I did.
Website easy to use and I went for the platinum most expensive version top and bottom
They sent out an impressions kit which arrived in a couple of days. I found the hardest bit getting the plastic off the bottom of the darker putty pods. I watched the video on their Facebook page a few times and another video on their website and read the instructions a couple of times so I was confident I knew what I was doing. I've read many reviews on here saying people have struggled with the impressions and to be honest that almost put me off ordering as it can be a costly process if you have to do them again and again
Couple of little points. the video on their website says you should not mix the putty for more than 30 seconds yet the one on Facebook says you can do it up to 1 minute if you need that long and I did. second on the outside of the box it tells you to place the putty in the fridge for 20 minutes exactly before you use it but the instruction leaflet says to leave the putty at room temperature for 12 hours or ideally overnight so having had it in the house for a few days I then placed it in the fridge 20 mins before using it
I found taking the impressions relatively easy but the first time I was a bit too close to the front of the tray at the top so scrapped that as they send you enough putty to have a practice go and I was happy with my second attempt and first attempt of the bottom teeth. I felt I had a good deep impression ( I'm currently waiting to see if they are good enough or not)
update 1: They replied within a hour so I'm impressed by that- They have failed both my impressions stating one was not deep enough and the other not clear enough. I now agree that the upper impression is not deep enough as I thought seeing the tops of the teeth would be enough to know where the gum line is. at the time I felt like I was pushing deep down but having never done this before I guess I wasent
The instruction leaflet tells you to go to a page on their website to send the impressions, it took me to the contact us page so I started a chat and sent the pics over - they were out of the office until 12pm so I asked them to email me, It got to 8pm tonight and I had nothing from them so logged into the site and I had a message saying we can't review impressions here please send to x email so I want to know why the leaflet doesn't just tell me to send them to x email instead of taking me to the pointless website and wasting peoples time. Finally they aim to approve or reject the impression in a day but because of high demand that may now be 72 hours. little frustrating.
Something I would like to suggest is that instasmile sends a little sample with the impressions kit of the various shades of product you can get as you can't really make an informed decision based on pics on a website. People could then hold the sample up to their mouth and see which shade they think suits them best. I've opted for the second whitest shade as I feel the maximum one may blind people when I smile :P
I will continue to update the review as the process continues in an open and honest way. if its great I'll say so if its not I'll let you know
update 2 contacted customer service for more putty and told to call. I asked if I could give my details instead as I hate talking on the phone and she has arranged a spare set of putty to be sent for both the top and bottom but after this I have to pay if I need more.
Update 3: because I won't provide my order number this review is under review by trust pilot in case I'm not a customer - I think the in depth details clearly show I am and I'm more than happy to provide my details when I receive the finished product
Update 4: I had enough putty left to attempt the upper one again. This time I pushed as hard as I could and to me it looks much better, You can see the gum line and my teeth felt like they were as far down as possible and feel like touching the tray like the instructions say you should (fingers crossed its accepted this time then I get 2 shots at the lower next week with the replacement putty they are sending)
Update 5: They have replied within 2 hours which is impressive to say that my impression looks okay and to send it in to them. the email does have a disclaimer saying "Please be aware that on occasion impressions can fail on a closer physical inspection due to factors not visible via the images in the email". for the time being I shall increase my rating to 4 stars the highest its been so far
Update 6: I have received my new putty quicker than expected so I can't fault them for speed of service. I also decided to buy myself a replacement lower impressions kit at a cost of £25 as I was worried only 1 more attempt may not be enough and its better to just get this done and get it done right and now and not be waiting days and weeks for more things to be sent and my thoughts are if my upper is rejected in the lab inspection then I've got some spare putty to re attempt it too. I would just need a new tray sending out. What the website does not tell you is in the replacement impressions kit you buy at £25 each is that they send you 2 different sized trays and not 1 set of putty, not 2 sets of putty but 3 sets of putty. to me that makes it much better value than the 1 lot I was expecting. I now have a total of 5 more attempts to get this right
Update 7: I did my second attempt at the lower and I wasent 100% happy with it as the gum line had a couple of areas where no putty remained so I did it again using the other tray provided. This time I felt it looked good so sent off pics to see if they think its ok. I got a reply back within 12 minutes wow now that's impressive and she said it looks ok please send it in to us so another dash to the post office before they close today.
I'm pleased I purchased the extra impressions kit as knowing I had 5 chances to get this right really takes the pressure off. had I not done so I would have been on my last chance with the replacement putty and its good to know that if the lab rejects one of my impressions I can still have 3 more attempts at the lower with no extra cost or 3 attempts at the upper if they can send me out a replacement tray
Overall after initial frustration I'm happy with the process and service received so far. Now its a waiting game and keeping fingers crossed that the lab accepts my impressions
Update 8: I had an email today saying "Your self-impression wasn’t quite right" the email did not state which one so I sent an email asking them to confirm which one was rejected and it said there will be a response within 72 hours so I decided to do a live chat on the website. The helpful lady looked into it for me and said it was the upper which needs redoing so I asked if she could send me out a replacement upper tray as I've still got putty left and she did. I asked her to confirm that the lower has been accepted and she went away and said it has been accepted and scanned
Update 9
Another 3 attempts at my upper impression have failed and I was starting to just think I should just give up and cancel it all together but they have sent me out rescue kits so fingers crossed once again
Update 10
I was not sure if they would wait for both my impressions to pass before they made my lower set however to my surprise it turned up on Thursday and then I received an email on the next monday saying it was complete and would be delivered soon. First impressions were good. I read the little leaflet that comes with it and put it in my mouth. Instantly my teeth looked a lot better and I'm impressed with the product,I think I made the right decision in getting the second whitest shade however the clip on 1 side is not going over the tooth completely and that causes a little wobble which Id like to get fixed but it doesn't stop me wearing the product but until I get the matching top set delivered it makes my normal teeth look even worse than normal so I shall be putting it back in the little case to keep it safe for now. As someone who has an underbite I decided before ordering the product that I would not eat or sleep with it in and the instasmile website suggests that's too. at £700 a time this is not something I want to destroy in my sleep or something I can regularly be replacing.
Whilst the impressions process can be very frustrating I would advise you to stick with it. I'm not happy that I've ended up paying out an additional £50 on kits to redo impressions but I guess its better than getting a product which is useless and if they can deliver a top set which looks as good as my bottom set it will transform not only the colour of my teeth but also the straightness and stop me looking like I have a badly discoloured/ missing tooth where one of my teeth is further back than the others.
update 11
I sent off my upper impression once again and got hit by the 3rd bank holiday since I started the process. 1 week on no email approving or rejecting so I checked my account & they are in production
I bought some solar garden lights which…
We bought some solar garden lights which would always reset to the default colour if they turned off themselves but would remember the colour you selected if manually turned off with the remote control. This was annoying as you set a colour then cats activate the security lights and boom its back to the default colour. its also a pain having to go round them each night if you want them on a different colour to the default. I thought this was odd so I contacted Gardman to see if they were meant to do this. It took them 2 and a half weeks to reply so I was surprised when they finally did but the nice lady apologised for the delay and told me that she had spoken to the department and there was a faulty batch of the lights. She said that she can't offer to replace them as they had a massive fire in March which destroyed the warehouse (I looked it up online and she was not wrong, they lost up to £20 million of stock and the whole building was destroyed) She offered to give us vouchers for the value of the items bought which I thought was very fair but id have preferred to wait until they got some more stock in at some point next year but was told this item was not a priority line for next year and they are only making a small number of products to keep the business going for the time being as warehousing is understandably an issue at the moment which is fair enough. so I sent off pictures as proof of the lights and they are sending me vouchers for 50% of the RRP and we get to keep the lights. Excellent service at a time when the business has taken a massive hit. We would not hesitate to buy from this company again.
We would also like to thank Kayleigh and then Michelle for dealing with the issue and for an outcome above expectations
I've bought from the home bargains…
I've bought from the home bargains website a few times over the years and the service is usually good. items are well packed and they are good value for money.
I like that if you have an item in your basket if you put a high quantity in you can see exactly how many they have in stock so you know whether you need to place the order quickly or have time to browse and think about it.
The website is fairly easy to use but could be made better
the negatives however...
They never have any discount codes available
I don't like that they restrict how many of a certain item you can buy. for instance I wanted to buy some solar garden lights for us but they come only in packs of 2 so I wanted 6 boxes to have a decent amount to go round the garden and then planned to get another 6 boxes to give away to garden loving relatives as Christmas presents but no you're restricted to 6 boxes per order but you can make multiple orders. so I've either got to pay postage per order or make each order up to £50 to avoid postage costs. In the end I did the latter but id have much rather just done 1 order for 12 boxes with free postage and we were impressed with them that I want to buy some more but I'm put off by the restriction and £50 threshold for free delivery which seems a bit steep these days.
The service was rather slow in an age where Amazon can deliver in 2 hours this took almost a full week for both my orders (made a week apart) to arrive but maybe with Amazon's amazing service we all expect too much these days or maybe other companies should try and match them. I'm not expecting them here in a day but it took them 5 days just to pack my order.
Disappointing site
Disappointing site, I've not heard of this company before but I had a discount code from the McDonalds Monopoly promotion for 30% off, After browsing the site and choosing a few things I went to pay but the discount would only apply to full priced items so I decided not to bother but then I saw online that if you sign up to the newsletter you get 20% off your first order so I signed up to the newsletter and a pop up appeared on the site with 20% code. Great I thought so I signed up an account and entered the code to be told this code has expired so no sale from me
Surverys can get boring
I've been a member of YouGov for a few years now and first thing to say its not a scam, they do pay out. I have redeemed £150 in points so far and are well on my way to the next £50, However it can take a loooong time to build up 5,000 points. I'd like them to let you cash in £10, £20, £25 etc then it doesn't feel like you have waited almost a year for something back
I had YouGov pulse installed on my phone and tablet which gave 100 points each per month but because it uses a VPN things like iPlayer would not work without disabling it which became a pain so in the end I uninstalled it
The survey's vary in length and generally they are worth 25 points or 50 points, occasionally you may get one worth 100 points or even 150 points
There is one thing I hate about doing certain surveys though and those are the ones on brands, they may list 20 brands and say tick all that apply...have you heard anything about them in the last 30 days, have you bought from them in the last 30 days, would you recommend this brand to a friend, would you be happy to work for this brand etc. You have to select each option 1 at a time every question and I've given them feedback multiple times that they should add a select all button and then you can just untick what you don't want to select. just adding that button would speed up the process a lot and make the survey less boring. As soon as I see a brand question I think oh no not one of these again. Also if I do select all the brands for instance on a who would you be proud to work for question then I don't see the point in then asking me who would you be ashamed to work for - there are no options to select
Once the survey is complete they ask if you would like to answer some more questions or check the points balance, As you get no points for answering more questions I just say no because I'm not gaining anything from doing so. If they gave bonus points then id happily do more.
You can also redeem your points in prize draws if you wish but personally I wouldn't do that as the chances of winning are next to zero and by waiting to build up the 5,000 points at least you are guaranteed £50 at the end of it
They do have 1 major plus compared to similar companies and that is that you don't get screened out of survey's half way through. I got so fed up of doing half the survey for student panel and then getting the sorry message and other times they would send an email and within a couple of hours have enough responses that you can't even do the survey. It took me so long to make it to the £25 the first time that even when they gave me £15 towards my next target I couldn't be bothered with the constant frustration so I asked them to close my account
Good site doesnt restrict anything you can say
Nice site which has real reviews which can be verified by submitting the order number for certain companies
Only thing I didn't like was after I changed a spelling error on a review it told me I could not review that company again for another 24 hours even though id just received a new order. The first order I was not impressed with at all and gave it 3 stars, the second I gave 5 stars
Thanks for getting in touch. Great to hear you have used Trustpilot to leave reviews on products you have bought.
Sorry to hear you were not able to leave a second review! You are able to review again if you have placed another order, we just have this feature in place to make sure people are only reviewing one experience at a time. If you did have another experience you are welcome to review again after 24 hours.
If you have any questions get in touch here http://trst.pl/2oSBylg
Thanks!

Nice products, Quick delivery, poor communication
Initially I gave this company a 5 star review but my last experience with them has been disappointing so its down to 2 for lack of communication
previous review
This is now my 3rd order with Mello and I have to say each time the service just gets better and better. In fairness to them the last 2 times I placed an order were during the height of the McDonalds Monopoly promotion so they were flooded with orders and had sold out of the colour I wanted but I was happy to wait for more stock which was then sent out quickly and delivered the next day
This order was placed around 8am on Sunday morning, sent out around 5pm last night and was delivered from Cornwall up North by 1:10pm WOW
They have a great promotion on at the moment too where the complete board has been reduced from £45 to £30 and if you spend £25 or above the postage is free. I love the LED wheels and I now have all 3 colours which all look awesome.
new part. I've been waiting for them to get the green skateboards back in stock for over a month so I could use my 50% McDonalds code before it ran out at the end of August so I sent an email asking if they knew when they would be getting some more in. I got a response saying they would not be getting any more so I asked if they meant ever or just for the time being and got no response, It got closer to the end of the month so I sent them a message on Facebook and was told they would not be getting any in the foreseeable future so I asked if I could either place an order now for another colour and have the order on hold until the green ones come back in stock as they are Christmas presents so I'm in no rush for them or would they agree to sell me one at the reduced price when the green is back in stock. it took them 10 days to read my message and even then they didn't bother replying now the voucher has expired so they won't be getting any more of my money and my opinion of them has massively reduced from previous positive experiences
Second order with this company and once…
Second order with this company and once again very pleased
They had a promo on where you could select 10 dvd's and Blu rays from a choice of around 180 and you could have 10 delivered for just £10.. amazing
I love that they give you rewards for everything you buy, for liking their facebook page and for reviews. the only downside is to redeem a £2.50 voucher you need to spend another £20, £5 voucher requires you to spend £30 etc
My order was delivered in just 2 days, well packaged in cardboard so it went straight in the recycle bin so full marks for that
I definitely plan to buy from here again. especially if they have a similar type of promotion again as although the selection was not the best in the world for £10 with free delivery it was well worth doing and at that price you can take a punt on something you have never heard of before or something you have heard about but never seen
My first order with Truprint and I…
My first order with Truprint and I really liked the item, it arrived in one piece which a competitors did not. I purchased a personalised mug using a promo code and for £3.50 delivered in less than a week well you can't complain for that.
The website was easy to use and it lets you import pictures from multiple sources. I chose one from my Facebook pictures. The preview of what your finished mug will look like was ok but I feel places like Zazzle have a much better preview, however what I love about these mugs compared to the competitors is that the image fills the whole height of the mug and therefore the image will be applied straight and central as there is no room for error where as when I bought a similar mug from Zazzle it had big blocks of white at the top and the bottom and the design was not placed centrally or straight so full marks to TruPrint for this design idea.
Generally the colours were as expected on the photo and are really nice and bright with one exception - The red on multiple objects which I know are red as I'm looking at them right now and are red on the photo came out more a washed out red and id call it pink. That is the only criticism I can find with this item
I would definitely buy one of these photo mugs again
And for choosing Truprint.
We look forward to serving you again soon.
Kind regards
Chris

Pretty impressed but not perfect
Pretty impressed but not perfect
First purchase with Wrappz for an iPhone 7 plus cover. website was a little fiddly with no undo button that I could see - they really should add one of those in case you move something by accident. Importing elements is a slow process id like to see a multi select import option and also a duplicate button. I had around 60 items on the finished product and they took a long time to import onto the design.
The finish of the phone case is very impressive, the colours were true to the original design I made and it looks good quality, however I'm not sure how much protection it would give your phone as the whole top is open and the whole bottom is open. there is a large cut out for the camera and flash area too rather than separate smaller cut outs which other case producers provide. Part of my design slopes off into the camera cut out area and a few bits id deliberately placed half over the camera cut out to make the area around it more interesting were missing completely so I guess the design was either printed a few pixels higher than the website preview suggested or the cut out area is slightly bigger than the website preview but id say these are minor issues
Finally I went back onto the website to see if I could amend the design to get it perfect but there does not seem to be any way you can edit a design once its submitted for order - the only option is to start again. Id like a way to not only edit the design on the current phone case but to also be able to copy and paste the entire design onto another Wrappz product so you can have multiple products with the same design if you wish.
Good
Colour is vibrant and true to the design, it looks good quality, 100% personalised, Delivered much quicker than the stated 2 weeks when using a promotional code from McDonalds Monopoly
Bad
Takes a long time to import elements onto the design, no undo button, no duplicate button, no way to edit a design once its ordered. if you wanted to make changes for a future order or copy the design onto another product as far as I can see none of those options exist
Conclusion
Nicely priced even without a voucher, quick delivery, Good representation on the site of what you will get and it looks good quality so id say give them a go
