I bought supposedly a HD-DVD via Amazon, from these plonkers, last month and they sent me a DVD. I complained and eventually got a refund and did not need to return it. I ordered another HD-DVD and asked them to check it this time, and they sent me a DVD AGAIN, morons.

I gave this service only 3 stars because they claim to be Halfords when they are not. The service itself was fine, it was what caused me to get it the first place that was not. A local Halfords shop sold me the wrong battery as I was installing myself, as the car could not be driven to the installers. As selecting a battery online is automatic (using a number plate), getting a wrong battery should be impossible, Also the mobile installer would not accept the old battery and give a refund. Was told over the phone Halfords mobile is separate from Halford, so I had to pay for two batteries initially. Today I have to return to first battery to the shop to get a refund.
I can confirm that we are Halford Tyres on the Drive and we are part of the Halfords Group. Though you will appreciate there are different divisions to the one group and sometimes things are not always linked up. The retail stores and the mobile services do operate on seperate systems. This is something we are working hard on at the moment to give customers a more seamless journey where possible.
I have fed back the details of your order to our development team so that we can improve the accuracy of the search facility on the website.

These guys are a very professional bunch, who responded well to my questions about reduce inventory, and their suspended services. They only get 4 stars rather than the five I want to give, because of their cynical attempt to flog me more stuff. I bought a model kit recently and they want to know how it's progressing, and do I need any extra bits like glue or paint. Come on, I am not 5 years old, can search to web for these items, and can easily find a retailer cheaper than Jadlam. Hope they like their new location, and are already offering more stuff.

I have raised a formal complaint with pension regulator about this company. They quickly present forms for you to fill out so they can approach you pension provider. They use digital signatures on these forms and don't properly explain what your committing too. They then approach you provider without telling you about it. And they don't tell you about their fees until after you commit. Of course, as soon as I knew their charges they where dumped immediately.

The service from these guys was very fast in the end but there was a problem initially. I was forced to use a credit card, because when I tried to use Paypal their system insisted on calling me on a mobile. I entered a valid number but their system would no accept it, and just call me.
Still behaving as if Covid-19 never happened.
We all know that used car sales companies always play games. They try to make money on ALL parts of a transaction. They inflate the used car price and try to make money on any part exchange as well. Fine we know all this but that was pre-covid-19. Now they could go bust from lack of sales, and yet they still make out they are busy, and people are queuing up to buy the car you want. Customers now are not stupid but they still think we are!!!

General service from Menkind is good, and staff are friendly, knowledge, able and helpful. I would give them 5 stars expect for the fact that the quality of the products they sell is variable. Most items are good quality or very good, but a few items are not so good, and clearly some of the items in recent sales fall into the poorer group.

I recently bought a 4K blu-ray box set in HMV's 50% sale, but was very annoyed when they dropped the price by £20 more just 24 hours after my purchase. I complained and asked for a £10 refund on my purchase thinking that they would ignore it. To my surprise they agreed to the refund and this allowed me to buy another 4K blu-ray in the sale almost for free.

Although the website is easy to use, clearly there is a problem. I have dealt with a advisor that was recommended quite quickly but he was unable to help me. The advisor recommended two other advisor companies and I found BOTH could also not help me. The financial industry is trying to walk away from advising clients about GMP pension transfers and the website appears to be ignoring this. Either the website needs to advise users that advice on pensions is now a major issue or say they can't help users about pensions at all. There are a few companies that will help but they will either charge extortionate rates or are not sticking to the rules.

Patchy service from a average courier
While Hermes do deliver most parcels successfully, they suffer from the most common problems with this type of service. The main suspicion is that they give their couriers too many deliveries to do per day. If so, this means the courier only gives the customer less than one minute to answer the door, and sometimes leaves a parcel outside the door if they get no response in time.

This was straight after I gave credit card details and of course they have now taken £19.95. I complained when I setup the account and was told to create another account, Luckily I did not do this otherwise they would had taken money twice. I have got my bank to stop further payments and the bank are refusing to refund until I ask Scoresmatter for it, and of course they are not responding. If the my bank don't play ball I will close the account, only had it for 30 years.

20 cogs is a good site but there are…
20 cogs is a good site but there are annoying problems:
1) Cogs can go Red AFTER they have gone Green, this should be impossible.
2) This happened because I had setup new accounts on a couple of sites with new email addresses, so under the unclear rules I was not a new customer.
3) A few sites can stay grey for days after you have taken the offer.
4) Some say you can cancel on the last day of a trial but these retailers take your money early on the last day - sneeky. Also pointless because I will never use such a retailer again.

Quidco is a good cashback site, but....
Quidco is a good cashback site, but I don't use it very much for two reasons:
1) The percentage cash backs they give are lower than other sites
2) I get more rejections from retails via this site with no explanation

Having applied for two loans from this bank and hit endless problem with their website, paperwork, repeated requests for more information, being told I am giving incorrect information, etc, etc..... Have other people hit similar problems?
Website problem: Applied online via a retailer and site accepted my credit cards details several times, but then rejected ALL the cards as proof of ID. They don't accept the old green driving license or an expired passport. My credit cards were then charged four times.
Loan issues : I was eventually accepted for a loan, but then I withdrew from the retailer transaction. I then asked for the bank to offer a smaller loan. They refused and said I need to apply again for a personal loan. I applied and then they wanted me to go through the WHOLE process again. Proof of ID, proof of address, proof of income through a bank account statement. I received today letter asking me to call them again. This time they would not accept the bank account statement because it was from a different bank. They had not explained that the wanted to look at a specific bank account that matched the application. I have agreed to swop the loan to the bank I showed them, but guess what I have to fill out some of the paperwork AGAIN.
