Getting a ticket refund is such a headache

TAP customer service was dissatisfactory. I purchased a ticket for a flight 8 days before the departure date, and then returned it a few hours later (still more than 7 days before departure time on the departure date). This means that my ticket refund should have gone to my credit card.

Instead, I received the refund as a voucher in my email on October 28. I called to complain on October 28. Thankfully the customer service rep said that it was a mistake and that the refund would arrive to my credit card within a week. BUT it is now November 20, and I still have not received the refund to my credit card, despite me following up on my complaint twice during the last 20 days...

Additionally, I found the refund policy listed on the website to be pretty unclear and borderline misleading.
TAP's online form for reservation cancellation only describes refunds and doesn't say anything about vouchers. However, on their FAQ page, it states:
"You can cancel a booking without paying any penalty, provided it is done within 24 hours of making the booking and more than 7 days before the trip. Refunds within 24h after the ticket issuance will be subject to an administrative refund fee of EUR15 / USD20 / CAD30.
Refunds will be issued in the form of a voucher with the 15€ fee deducted. These vouchers are not refundable and must be used for the purchase of TAP tickets within the space of one year."
As you can see, the language is rather confusing.

I was really happy with the way I could build a gift box myself, and the recipient received it on time and with good presentation.
