Was terrified after booking my tickets…

Was terrified after booking my tickets on Cheaptickets and THEN I read the reviews here — I bought tickets for a concert in Vegas through cheaptickets.com but the email came through, with the tickets, from ticketmaster (and at about $50 less than the same tickets on the ticketmaster site). the concert is only on the 31st so I will report back if all went okay, but thus far I have the e-tickets and all looks legit.

UPDATE: well, mixed feelings really as we went to the concert, were scanned in fine, but oddly there were people in our seats with the same seat numbers, but the two beside them were free and we sat there, No other seats were free so I am thinking the seats were nudged over by the computer somehow — regardless, they WERE valid upon entry and we saw the show, so no problem in the end with the tickets (John Fogarty at Planet Hollywood in Vegas).

Do not use!!!!

Do not use! If I could give 0 stars I would. Made it all the way to Disney world for them to say my tickets had been cancelled but they never contacted me and told me. No email, no nothing. It even showed that I still had vouchers on my account. Freaking sad. Already had my kids a few miles from Disney world ready to go. All they could say was sorry. Had to scrounge up tickets in a hurry. DO NOT USE

This company is a fat big liar

This company is a fat big liar. they lie to customers to force them to pay more. What they do and what they say are totally different. I don;t advise people to buy tickets with them. Go everywhere but, CHEAP TICKETS, as the name says it: they are CHEAP, cheap in doing good business, cheap mentality, cheap talk cheap in everything ! they lie to get more money. Not worth it. THEY are good for nothing. people there are other companies out there or go to the airline itself. Cheaptickets i rate them 0/1000

Cheapticket agent lied to me so they would not have to help

I used Cheaptickets as an agent to set up a round trip vacation. The airline had to change my flight and when I called to see if I could make other changes they told me I needed to contact my travel agent. I called Cheaptickets and their agent said there was nothing they could do as the airline had already secured my flight ticket. I called the airline back and they told me that my travel agent lied to me. They then proceeded to run it up to management and secure my ticket from Cheaptickets so they could help me correct my return flight. I could tell the Cheapticket agent was in a call center overseas and I believe he lied so he would not have to do the work in helping me out. I will never use Cheaptickets as a travel agent and will recommend that others do not either.

Dishonest and Incompetent – Never Using Expedia Again

This has been one of the most frustrating and dishonest experiences I’ve ever had with a company.

After promising a full refund in writing, Expedia dragged the process out for years with excuse after excuse. And now, after all this time, they suddenly claim they "can't find the booking." This is clearly a tactic to avoid taking responsibility and paying what they owe. I’ve been more than patient, but their customer service is nothing but delays, deflections, and copy-paste apologies.

They promise things they don’t deliver, shift blame to the airline, and treat customers like they’re disposable. It’s not just bad service—it’s deceptive.

I’ve already started sharing my experience publicly and will continue to do so. Avoid Expedia at all costs.

Never again

I’ve been using cheap tickets for the past ten years but I’m never going to use them again. I called customer service to try and change a flight and make sure that I had seats with my five year old daughter but the agent wasn’t understanding what I was asking, kept putting me on hold and then kept coming back with an answer that I didn’t ask for. When I asked to speak to a different agent; she hung up on me. Like I said, I’ve used cheap tickets for all of my flights. Never again.

Protection policy is a racket with AIG Do not purchase

I puchased two one way tickets and the date changed as I was booking the flight to the incorrect date. I called to cancel the reservations and they told me to call AIG since it was covered under the protection plan I bought so I called AIG and they said they could not refund until the flights were cancelled so I called cheap tickets back and they refused to cancel the booking. Flat out refused unless I paid additional 125 dollars fee on each tickets. The so called cancelation policy is a racket since it apparently only covers when airlines cancel flights which are already covered by the airline...why would we need a cancelation policy??? So they keep my money and I will never use them again. Priceline all the way from now on. I have used them many times and they are always fantastic. Ditch cheap tickets.

I booked a flight for April 13th…

I booked a flight for April 13th through Cheapticket.in, and my money has already been deducted. Today is April 14th, and it still shows the booking as “pending.” I have tried to contact customer support several times for a refund, but I haven't received any response. I also sent them an email, but there has been no reply to that either. I regret trusting this service; it's frustrating and disappointing. This feels like a scam, and I’m concerned about how they are misleading customers.they are behaving cheaply exactly like their name.

Scamed at cancel

I order the possibility to cancel a booking. After i have to cancel it, but they say i cant refund. So they only would not charge me any fees from their own, but the penalty from airline remains. But if you read it it sounds different. This is a scam!!

$2500, but they charged $3,000 instead

We spent 2100 for family of 4. After figuring out my daughter was over the limit for free seat with me, I called to get her a seat. They cancelled our tickets and rebooked, but charged an agent fee which was the price of my daughter’s ticket. We never agreed to the agent fee. They slid it in by charging our card 6 times for each seat separately. It had an agent fee for the price as our seats. So instead of 2,100, we spent $3,100. These people are crooks. The worst part about it is that when we complained to American Airlines, they said they couldn’t do anything because we went through them. Why are these airlines using them when they get these complaints on a regular bases. They stole $500 from us. We let it go because we didn’t want them to cancel all our tickets because we had no insurance on it.

DO NOT USE CHEAPTICKETS

DO NOT USE CHEAPTICKETS! I booked with them, only to have them call me the next day saying the offer I booked was no longer available and they could not honor the price. I told them to cancel it because I did not want to do business with a company that wouldn't honor the rate on their website.
2 days later a charge for 4 TIMES THAT RATE showed up on my checking account.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, THEY WILL ROB YOU EVEN AFTER CANCELATION!

IMPORTANT MESSAGE: DO NOT EVER BUY ANYTHING ON THIS SITE. They will NEVER refund you for ANY REASON. Even if it's a fraudulent transaction and they kept my $2000 CAD and blocked me, it seems like I lost $2000 and they are NOT going to do anything else to help. DO NOT ENCOURAGE THIS FRAUDULENT COMPANY.

I am a loyal customer and I feel mistreated

I am a loyal customer and I feel deeply mistreated. Reviewing my last booking per mail (as always) I noticed I booked a one-way trip and not a return flight. This was strange, but mistakes happen. Fortunately, during my booking I had opted and paid for a cancellation insurance. So, I contacted customer service well within 15 minutes after booking. And I was willing to pay more, of course. After dealing with a chat bot, the customer service person did NOTHING useful to help me. She just told me to contact the insurance. A little annoyed, I contacted this a 3rd party(!!) insurance, and after 20-30 minutes, I found out that such booking mistakes are not covered. So I contacted Cheaptickets again. The worker just repeated the same phraze over and over. "No, I cannot help you. Sorry, I cannot help you. Please contact your insurance company." I have news for you. Your customer service training sucks. I really was looking for options, but it was impossible to get any solutions from this person.

Cheaptickets should not do business with NU Car Rental

I rented a car through Cheap Tickets and it ended up being a car from NU Car Rental. I picked up the car from the PHX location on 10/6 and had it rented until 10/21. Reservation said it was on-site but had to take the monorail to the rental car area then walk down the sidewalk to the opposite side of where the rental car companies were located and had to walk down some stairs then get into a shuttle bus and taken to a very shady part of town.
I originally reserved this vehicle from Cheap Tickets and paid $662.21.  I reserved a Hyundai Accent or similar Compact car.
When I got to the rental car office for NU Car - I felt very pressured to hurry up and get the paperwork signed and get out of there.  The rental agent kept telling me that I had a Mini Cooper Electric Vehicle rented.  There was also mention of having to rent equipment to charge the car.  I DID NOT reserve an electric car.  The sales agent was persistent in telling me that I had an electric mini cooper rented.   The sales agent mentioned I could upgrade to a gas vehicle and he had a Chevy Malibu that I would probably love.  He kept mentioning that the cost would only be about $100.00 per week.  He never mentioned that the $100.00 per week was IN ADDITION to the $662.21 that I had already paid for a gasoline powered car.  I was thinking that he meant the price for the upgraded car was going to be around $300.00, which would be cheaper than the original price of the Hyundai Accent that I originally rented. We were made to believe we had rented an electric car - when we didn't.  We were also taken advantage of by the salesperson's predatory behavior to get us to upgrade our rental. This NU Car Rental employee exhibited very predatory behavior and made false claims to us in order to get us to upgrade to a different car.  He was also not very clear about the TOTAL cost for us to get a gasoline powered car (of which we did have rented).  Nu Car takes advantage of weary/tired travelers and gets them to sign the paperwork authorizing additional charges.
