Blatant censorship, unreliable ratings, fake reviews, terrible app.

Absolutely a dreadful website. THE WORST I have ever come across.
It used to be my go to favourite place to look at customer reviews.
Now it's impossible to even access. Amazon password nope they couldn't accept that. Google password. NOPE couldn't accept that. They I ruined this company. Congratulations. I will never use this pathetic, rubbish site, again. You will probably try to have Trustpilot take it down. Bye, IMBd don't let the door slam on your wallet on your way out.

IMDB is following the suppression rules Big tech and MSM want to inflict to everybody. Suddenly you need to sign in to read reviews. Delete you account and boycot this company

Getting worse every year, every month. Fake reviews, fake ratings without logic, site/navigations, futures are getting worse by time

Horrible review manipulation, outdated design, AI usage, you name it, this site has it. Absolutely do not recommend under any circumstances.

Best for browsing movies, their ratings and keeping watchlists.

What else is to say about a review side which doesn't allow all kind of reviews in the name of neutrality and harmfulness.

Can’t trust the reviews on this site. They clearly only allow reviews they want for each movie. Not a source of truth for the quality of a movie

Won’t publish a review that isn’t favourable for the film very poor and freedom of speech and point of view isn’t allowed apparently

There is terrible censorship on this website. Forget about freedom of speech. When I laughed at their stupid rule of minimum of X characters per review quoting Shakespeare "Brevity is the soul of wit", rest assured they never published that review. They never published any of my reviews. I think Mr Musk would do a lot of good for all of us cinema lovers if he takes control of this website from Mr Bezos, restores freedom of speech and abolishes ridiculous rules.

Constant let downs and now the new Melania fake rating. Shame on your critics.

It should be an impartial review site but instead it is a dishonest site that favors big companies and TV series. If you sign up and give an uncritical review of a TV series or a film they will delete your review as happened to me after criticizing the latest Star Trek TV series and after receiving so many Likes they deleted my review for no reason and without any warning, it is a dishonest site to avoid!

I have been trying to cancel my subscription. There is no phone number, there is not an email that will accept my cancellation, they say to go follow the prompts and it says I will not get cancelled until January of 2027. They have tried to charge my credit card 3 times but I put a stop on their account. I see the reviews have hit rock bottom....what the heck is going on?

If there was a scale that went below 1 then I would have chosen -5 at least. How a site can go from +5 to a -5 in no time at all is hard to imagine; just not to IMDB. The site is totally rubbish now. Don’t the owners see that it’s us less now? What a loss!!!

Clearly, IMDB (sadly bought by Amazon) and free speech don't go well together - no one is really surprised if we look at the highly fake positively skewed reviews on Amazon.com. IMDB does not publish reviews in which you criticize the delusional woke scripts of Amazon Studios. I used to have Amazon Prime and I could not suffer through most of their shows even if they paid me dearly. I feel sorry for the excellent actors that have to endure through their "scripts". The IMDB rating has lost its relevance, just like the politically correct Oscars.

You remove reviews, adjust scores, and curate narratives at the whim of big companies, while pretending it’s all in the name of “fairness.” On the other side, you’ve got people review-bombing in protest. The result? A platform where nothing can be taken seriously anymore.
You can claim you’re “stuck in the middle,” but you’re not. Your own actions created this mess. You didn’t preserve neutrality — you dismantled it. And now everyone can see it.
IMDb is no longer a reliable database of films and honest audience opinion. It’s become a forum battleground … a political slap-fight between left wing and right wing activists, with films used as ammunition. While the one upmanship continues … the movies are just collateral damage.
Sincerely, I don’t respect your scoring system anymore. I don’t trust your reviews, your numbers, or your so-called moderation. You had credibility once. You threw it away.
