Indeed is nothing but a joke they don’t want to fix anything that you tell them what going on and they post fake jobs and they keep sending you jobs out of state after you tell them that you are not interested in moving and if you put the minimum miles that you drive to work they send you jobs are 1 to 2 hours drive and if you set your pay at what you need they send you job that pays under
Criminal app
Horrible app. Most of the jobs are not real -- entirely fabricated by Indeed staff who merely attempt to sucker job-seekers into paying for a premium subscription. The founders of this app need to go to prison.

Inconsistent and sometimes inaccurate information
Find reviews not kept up to date, like old job applications being left on this site. Surely indeed should monitor this and make sure that employers haven’t forgotten about this. Also I find a lot of applications from indeed don’t get to employers posting the job, had a lot of people who actually post the vacancy on indeed telling me that they never received my application from indeed. And while technically this isn’t indeed fault I find a lot of job descriptions lack vital information such as hourly rate, details of shift patterns (hours/days expected to work), length of days, rota examples etc. Maybe indeed should make this a requirement to advertise on their forum? And when employers do give this information it sometimes doesn’t add up such as giving an hourly rate, a minimum number of hours worked a week and then when you calculate this over a 52 week period it doesn’t add up to the annual wage. And I wish they would separate agency work from actual employment as particularly with driving jobs this means you have to sift through a lot of jobs that don’t meet your criteria, speaking of which, when I put my job parameters in the search filter, a lot of the jobs which o5 shows me have totally ignored the parameters I have set, or it just resets the parameters to a default setting. All this makes for a very unreliable and unnecessarily frustrating site to use. Come on indeed, you can do better than this

Legitimate Employer Blocked by Faulty Verification
Indeed suspended my employer account even though my company is fully registered and easily verifiable through Dun & Bradstreet. I was ready to post a job and pay for the listing, but instead I was blocked without a clear reason or solution.
I understand the need to prevent scams, but this experience shows a serious flaw in their verification process. Legitimate businesses shouldn’t be treated like bad actors when they’re simply trying to hire.

Indeed reviews are biased
Indeed reviews are biased. If you write an articulate and honest review highlighting how some companies misled training and work expectations with chaotic schedules where you're working 7 days a week with the hopes of getting a day off if you're lucky it's considered 'not meeting guidelines'. I did not drop any names but, the stark reality of the day-to-day life as a CX agent working grueling hours online for low pay.
As some other people say Indeed must be getting paid by some of the companies to hide brutally honest reviews. Again, my reviews were not unprofessional or half-written, it was showcasing how working 40 hours a week with short 30-minute shifts to 1 hour shifts with a zombie schedule with hardly work-life-balance was unsustainable and training time was deceptive claiming it was 8 to 12 weeks when it was 2 weeks, with the second week starting on Monday trainees started taking calls (their 8 to 12 weeks they deceptively said was learning and development when in reality you're working to fill in empty seats for the people who left and they need help covering the shifts).
Indeed is biased and can let poorly worded and terrible reviews with grammar errors stay on there with no push back because it's not a threat compared to those who are honest about the poor working conditions.

All the Jobs I was interested didn't have any deadline, and on some I have missed it!
Please add the application submission deadline to all the jobs.

USE MULTIPLE SITES DONT TRUST INDEED
It really appears this site is mostly a bunch of scam jobs. It is a joke they say they "moderate" reviews on a company, the algorithms are totally skewed because they don't do any oversight of companies posting bogus jobs. This applies to most of the accounting postings where illegal information is presented by the "company" as to job requirements.

Useless site
Useless site. Suspensions of accounts because they do not understand how VPNs work. WEEKS of back and forth with support (one full day between replies) and no resolution. "Employers cannot find you".
EDIT: Regarding your reply below ... can you even read?!

I received a job and was told I was not a good fit cause they didn’t like my lunch or perfume smell.
My resume is clear, never worked in legal and was fired for not having the accurate experience.
I apply on easy apply or urgently hiring and then it takes me an external website to fill all info tha is already on the resume provided.
Urgently hiring may mean they call back fast but the positions offered have start dates of a month or further out.
You may make you money from allowing employers to post but you will become the Monster of this generation if I can do it without you.

Data Privacy Grab - Requires email AND phone #
Indeed not only requires you to set up an account and provide an email address, but it also requires a phone number. Otherwise, you cannot even see the jobs. I had an account with Indeed, but stopped using the site because so many jobs were out of date or fake. Now I can't see any jobs at all because I refused to give them a phone number. To any employer using Indeed, keep in mind your posts are not being seen by a large number of people who want to protect their privacy and not share personal information with Indeed. I understand most Indeed posts are free, and in this case, you truly do get what you pay for with them.

I am appalled by Indeed
I am appalled by Indeed. I am a self employed HR Consultant and provide HR services to four companies and manage all of their recruitment. The rules of Indeed have changed and you are only allowed to post three jobs per month. All four of the companies I represent have had adverts refused as needing sponsorship when I have been within the limit of three per company. Indeed claims that the companies are connected therefore are classed as one. I have been trying to reason with them for over a week that these companies have no connection to each other at all, they don’t even have the same directors on the Board. I work in the hospitality industry which is struggling enough as it is without being denied the right to advertise for staff.
Such an arrogant business
Such an arrogant business, it's a job board why do they need numerous personal details just to look at jobs posted! They have now brought glassdoor and instigated the same policy! Professing it's to do with my safety which has never been an issue on job searches! How would I be safer giving them even more details.they ultimately want data to sell! I really hope this us the decline of Indeed reading these comments I'm not the only one! Get over yourself indeed!

Terrible platform for employers
Terrible platform for employers. Everything regarding an employers relationship with indeed involves them holding your credit card hostage. Once they convince you to upload your credit card, it's almost impossible to pause/inactivate your account. They continue to bill your credit card long after you no longer need their service.
Very poor
Very poor customer service and experience. Advertised the role and they charged over £200 and not even a single CV received for a qualified candidate.
Would not recommend anyone to advertise with indeed.

This platform allows scammers to act as employers in order to sell "courses"
I was under the impression that Indeed was one of the most reputable job boards. However, recently, I have been dealing with endless "employers" who just claim to offer real job openings when in fact all they want is to sell courses or charge fees for "setting up your own business with their support" for "uncapped earnings potential", bla bla bla.
Indeed should do a better job of filtering out scammers trying to rip people off and only allow real employers who offer real jobs on their platforms. At least 50% of my time spent on this platform is time wasted, which I will never get back.

Company hides high rates on click response from the advertisement. You think you have a limit, but the small print ultimately makes it something else. Never post anything on Indeed again. Fortunately, there are many better professional companies with clear pricing. You cannot end your subscrition yourself.

Waste of time and money
What a complete waste of time this website has become. I used to be able to rely on Indeed for basic requirements for Electricians, but now even those are impossible to get. I just get overseas applications only now and candidates with no working experience of the UK. Totally useless, If there was an option of no stars, that is what they would be getting, never using this site again.
