Misleading Payment Fraud
If I could rate BudgetAir zero stars, I would. This service is a big time scam.
We booked flights using an airline rewards credit card to take advantage of card-specific perks (like free checked bags). However, at check-in, we discovered that BudgetAir pays the airline directly using their own internal funds rather than processing the transaction directly to your credit card. Because the airline itself doesn't charge your card, all cardholder perks are lost.
Nowhere on their site does it state they process payments this way. Customer support was unwilling to help, sending us in endless circles for an issue they created. Save your time and money. Book elsewhere.

DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY THEY ARE SCAM ARTISTS. Worst experience i have ever had with a company. I called the customer support probably not even 5 minutes after the purchase when i noticed the wrong date. The customer support team was gaslighting my wife and I after the website changed my booking date to the wrong month from what I had originally selected. I asked if we could change the flight date or get a refund and they said I can only cancel and get no money back. I called the airline that it was through and they said my tickets wouldn't have even worked because the information wasn't even right on the tickets, including they spelt my name wrong and mashed the names together even though they were on separate lines. Budgetair continued to tell me the airline policy was no refund or date change, but the airline itself said that is not their policy at all. The airline said they allow a full refund if they are contacted within 24 hours of purchase. They also finally said they would refund the money if we had a written letter from the airline. We called the airline and they issued a refund to the card on file (bugetair's card) and sent us the copy of that refunded transaction. We sent that to budget airline and apparently that was not good enough for them and they still won't refund us our money. DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY THEY ARE SCAM ARTISTS.

Absolute nightmare experience
Absolute nightmare experience. I booked a flight and noticed a date mistake on my ticket less than 12 hours later. Even though it was well within the standard 24-hour grace period, customer service completely refused to cancel or refund it. When I asked to just change the flight date, they quoted me a ridiculous price that was 3 TIMES the original ticket cost! They trap you with low upfront prices and then gouge you if anything goes wrong. Do yourself a favor and book directly with the airline instead. Saving a few dollars upfront is not worth the risk.

Worst company to buy your tix from. I made a mistake on my fast name and they refused to fix it. Called customer care to speak to a manager was told manager isn't available to talk he will call you back in 5 hrs witch is midnight my time. Pay little extra and book through a different site!

Cancelation/Refund was not made clear when booking.
Cancelation with refund is pretty poor, it was not made abundantly clear when booking that the cancelation period for full refund was only after 24hrs after the initial booking. Nor was it made clear that the fair type would determine weather or not you can get a full refund. Only a very small portion of the ticket cost was refunded.
