horrible customer support
Today I wrote the following letter to the customer support:
Hi,
Could you please clarify the return status for the order DGLDE0065391177 ? (Kundennummer bei Rückfragen 03003348279314)
I created the return on 19.08.26. According to Hermes the return was delivered on 27.08.26.
But I still didn't receive any update or information.
The parcel was initially opened and repacked when I received it and delivery was delayed (you can check this with Hermes).
The perfume inside was opened as well. That was the reason of my return.
Would appreciate any updates from your side.

Wanted to clarify the return status (because I was not compensated and got no information about the status of return). And received the following answer:

Wenn Sie mit einem Douglas Kundenkonto bestellt haben, können Sie Ihre Bestellung ganz bequem in Ihrem Kundenkonto unter „Meine Bestellungen“ selbstständig stornieren, vorausgesetzt, der Auftrag hat noch nicht den Status „in Bearbeitung“ erreicht.
Wenn sich Ihre Bestellung bereits in Bearbeitung befindet, ist eine Stornierung oder eine Änderung der Lieferadresse leider nicht mehr möglich.
Wir bitten Sie daher, die Annahme des Pakets zu verweigern oder die Ware nach Erhalt an unser Lager zurückzusenden.
Sollte eine fehlerhafte Lieferanschrift angegeben worden sein, wird das Paket automatisch mit dem Vermerk „nicht zustellbar“ an uns retourniert.

The answer ABSOLUTELY UNRELATED TO THE INITIAL QUESTION. It's ridicilous!
Also I want to add that without without my request, no one did anything or processed the refund. Although I sent the perfume on the same day in the same Hermes package, where it was written that it was repackaged. And this refund was delivered on 08/27/26, the tracking link is H1023800102626501010.

I recently returned items from my orders and received official credit notes (Factura rectificativa № 10259848 and № 10259847, Customer ID: 03713386298535). The refund was issued as a store balance, but when I try to use it at checkout, the system requires a 4-digit gift card PIN code. Since no PIN was ever provided with my credit notes or via email, I am unable to apply these funds to a new purchase. I have tried reaching out to Customer Support to resolve this technical issue, but I haven't received a response yet.Since the store balance is currently unusable, I kindly ask you to process the refund directly back to my original payment method.Thank you in advance for your assistance in resolving this matter promptly.

Very slow response to email
Customer service got back to me eventually, hence the improvement from 1 to 3*, and managed to resolve the issue I had, but still they got in touch with me, only, when I resorted on leaving a review here. It would be nice to get a response earlier to my emails and not have to chase the issue so much, in order to get resolved, as you always expect better service from a premium partner like Douglas.

Douglas is the cheapest shop amongst other. But would be better if they have more branded make up and Korean products.
