Avoid at all costs!!! You have been warned.

Dreadful purchasing experience, non existent customer support, faulty goods delivered, refund appears to have disappeared into thin air. Avoid this organisation like the plague. They are not based in the UK and the website is a work of creative art when it comes to "warranty" and "30 days money back". One star reviews intermixed with a few five star reviews should give you an idea that a good proportion of the five star reviews are fake and the majority of customers are left frustrated or downright angry. You have been warned!

Thieves

Purchased a tablet from them back in September, which never arrived. Since then was trying to get a refund - no luck, they either don't answer at all or tell you to wait.
THIS IS A RIP-OFF, STAY AWAY.

Was happy with my tablet.

I ordered an Ainol Hero tablet. It arrived well packed, but 1 day late. I needed some advice on how to update some of the features, so I contacted them and they walked me through it. Overall I'm very happy and have recommended them to a friend.

Extremely Poor Customer Support

I ordered an Ainol Tornados for my 8yr old daughter, as a Christmas present. Order placed in mid-November, and it arrived early December. A little long on delivery, but I thought at least I've got it before Xmas.
However, when it was fired up on Xmas morning, it soon became apparent that all was not well. It wouldn't charge, was sluggish, but worse of all was the existing account, files and photos already on the device. It was a USED tablet.
I was extremely disappointed, and had to try and explain to my 8yr old daughter that Santa had made a mistake.
I struggled to get a response from the company, but eventually was told to send it back, and I would get a FULL refund, i,e, the cost of the Tablet and the Postage to return it - £17!! This was after I posted a negative Post on their Forum, which was deleted by the way!?!
I was given the refund for the Tablet in early January, but not the Postage. I have since e-mailed 4 times asking about this, and have been ignored. I've been patient, and tried to be understanding, but the fact remains that I had a disappointed little girl on Xmas Day, thanks to being sent a used device that didn't work properly.
SO BEWARE! The prices are attractive, but the follow up support if you have a problem is appalling. Promises not kept, used items sent out instead of new, and no contact or responses from them. AVOID!!

Reliable and Easy Service

I must say I am impressed. I ordered an Ainol Fire and it is a great piece of kit. I use my fire in my construction business and having some apps that assist me is a great help.

Fake and a waste of time

The company at first looks like a UK based retailer, but after some minimal digging it has become very obvious that they are either based in China or Taiwan. The forums are flooded with people asking where their order is or for people to respond to their emails, and the email system seems to be set up to keep you waiting for a reply, while they ignore you. The "live" support has never worked, to my knowledge, and after waiting for over a month on y order all I can say is I'm pretty sure it never shipped.

All the POSITIVE reviews are FAKE!

I find it ridiculous that the only positive reviews for this company are from the owner, his wife and friend.

James Ball is the owner of ipadalternative.
Kaohsiung Living is also James Ball or James Chen Ball
Nicola Chen is his wife.
Nihao is James' best friend.

It seems there is only one legitimate review on this website.

Rude and untrusty

very rude, don't answer to asked questions, and blackmailing with refunding money
all to say about them.
They don't answer on e-mails, and when they send one it's bot prepared form. After you ask why they don't answer to your question, they sey you are rude and blackmail's you with your money refund. I have screenshot's of conversations and e-mails to confirm this

*RECOMMENDED* surpasses expectations

*RECOMMENDED* I was not too keen on buying a tablet made by a company called 'Ainol' coupled with the word 'Fire' and expected to receive a cheap Chinese tablet. I was pleasantly surprised.

Received the tablet quickly, questions were answered promptly. Most importantly the tablet surpassed all expectations and what im left with is a product that is in reality way beyond its current price tag.

As long as you dont expect the speed of domestic delivery, ipadalternative is easily the best place to buy a Chinese tablet right now and can recommend with confidence. So far no problems, but will change review accordingly and report to you all if I do.

Looks like a UK company but it isn't and customer service awful

Oh dear! They look like a UK company with a UK phone number and they say they have an office in the UK. But they are Chinese and you will have to spend a fortune returning any faulty goods to Taiwan. Customer service awful. Responses to communications slow, if at all.

They promised to send me a tablet case as compensation for their mistakes and to give them a good review, but it never arrived!

Top products and great customer service.

I'd been searching the web looking for a tablet PC and went through a number of different web sites.
I stumbled upon ipadalternative.com through a tablet PC blog, as it was recommended by a few of it's users.
I was very surprised to actually have someone answer their 24hr help line.
The person guided me through we no problems and I received my device 5 days later and all working properly.
As the title states " top products and great customer service."
If your out there looking for a tablet PC, ipadalternative is the place to go.
