sloooooooooooooooooow

When you place an order, you cannot pay it right away. I waited 2 days before a third party sent me a payment email in order to pay. I wrote 2 emails regarding about the shipment and, of course no answer. My order status is still showing waiting for payment on the website. Their shipping policy is 21 business days (not 21 days after payment received). However, what is definition of "payment received". I paid yesterday the they are still waiting from the third party to pay them.

Not worth time. Worst online experience.

At least based on my experience with this company, you will be buying into a big hassle and waste of time. I never received the item purchased and never received a refund. Beware! As you will see from the details of my experience below, THIS COMPANY'S WePay AND Amazon Payment ACCOUNTS ARE CURRENTLY UNDER REVIEW AND THEY ARE NOT PROCESSING TRANSACTIONS FOR THIS COMPANY. Below summarizes my experience:

Dec 7th: I placed order with newayelectro.
Dec 9th: I made payment through WePay.
Jan 5th: I first inquired to newayelectro about order.
Jan 5th: newayelectro replied that they were notified by supplier
that item was on backorder. I could wait for item or cancel
order at any time, if it didn't arrive in timely manner.
Mar 2nd: I inquired to newayelectro about the order a second time,
and decided to finally cancel order.
Mar 2nd: newayelectro replied that order was voided and a "full
refund will be issued within 10 business days."
Mar 21st: After receiving no refund, I inquired to newayelectro
about refund.
Mar 22nd: newayelectro replied that order had been canceled, and I
would need to contact WePay directly for refund.
Mar 22nd: I contacted WePay, and they mentioned they cannot issue
a refund since it was more than 90 days since order and
they were no longer processing transactions from
newayelectro. I needed to contact newayelectro for
alternative method for refund.
Mar 22nd: I contacted newayelectro to explain and ask for
alternative method.
Mar 23rd: newayelectro initiated refund transaction through
Amazon Payments
Mar 25th: Amazon Payments indicated the refund transaction failed.
I asked for details concerning reason for failure.
Mar 26th: Amazon Payments responded that they had placed
newayelectro's account is under review and they are no
longer processing their transactions.
Mar 26th: I initiated claim with credit card to dispute the original
charge and contacted newayelectro concerning Amazon
Payment's response.
Mar 26th: newayelectro responded, "Go ahead dispute the charge"

It is important to notice that, during these 3.5 months, newayelectro did not proactively communicate at all. It only reacted in a meaningless and dodgy manner. I never have written a review of a company, but since this experience is by far my worst online purchase experience, I figured I would help to get the word out (along with the many others with a very similar experience with this company). If you choose to deal with this company, GOOD LUCK!

This company I believe is fraudulent

I never did receive the product I ordered. It was never even shipped. I just learned that someone has fraudulently used my visa to charge items at Macy's. Just wondering if this company could have something to do with this. Did anyone else have that experience?

Worst experience with a company ever!

This place is a joke and I wish I had done my research before placing my order. I placed my order on Dec. 20th. Waited for the WePay bill, did not come so sent a message on their message board, then got the payment on the 22nd. Waited, and waited and after reading other reviews started to get nervous so on Jan. 13th I sent an email just to check to make sure the item would be shipped in the 21 business days. On Jan. 16th received an email that it was no longer available and my order was voided on the 17th with a statement saying it could take up to 10 business days to receive my refund. Are you kidding me - 10 business days? So I patiently waited and today is the 10th business day and big surprise still no refund. I sent ANOTHER email and was told to contact WePay directly. I just did and they are no longer doing business with Newayelectro.com (probably because they realized what crooks they are) and so they are submitting my request for a refund - Newayelctro never did!!! From now on I will always google a company to make sure they are legit before doing any business - unbelieveable all the bad reviews out there.

Scammers

These people take your money and then never send you your product. They have no contact information other than by email. If you contact them to question what's going on they tell you that they will refund your money but then never do and eventually stop responding to your emails. Please DO NOT order from these people! There should be a way for us to be able to shut down their website to keep them from doing this to others!

Expect what the website states

I didn't really research this company out beforehand-or I may have changed my mind about purchasing from them considering the lengthy time frame it took to get the items I ordered. It states on the website it can take up to 21 days to ship any order-and it really did (a fact I didn't realize until I went looking to see why my order hadn't come). So don't expect them to be better than what they state on their shipping policy. I pretty much had to contact the company at every step. They didn't send a payment email within 24 hrs, so I had to email them in order to receive that. I was hoping to get the items for Christmas (ordered them in November), and when it was getting close to the holiday I still hadn't seen anything. I emailed them asking the status of my order, without any response. I then found the information stating the 21 day shipping policy, which in my case gave them until Jan. 6. I finally contacted them on their forum (since I didn't ever get a response by email and they don't list a phone number to call for customer care). The forum post was addressed promptly, stating that my items were being shipped. I received them one day before the 21 day mark. In hindsight, I may have just gone somewhere else considering the lengthy wait. The deal on the product was good, but the wait to ship was dismal. They did deliver the product in the time frame they guaranteed...so I can't complain. I do think they need to be more prompt and attentive with their customer service by answering more quickly and providing the customer with more ways to get in touch with them.

The Worst

Never dealt with an online company this bad. Don't bother cause it will be a waste of time. I placed the order on Dec 17. I emailed them on Jan 4 to find out status of order with no reply. I emailed them on Jan 7, again with no reply. On Jan 10 I received an email from wepay.com that there is a problem with the order. Wepay.com informed me they no longer handle newayelectro.com payments. Do you think it's because newayelectro.com has poor or unethical business practices? You decide but I suggest you not waste your time.

A Tremendous waste of time

Placed the order and waited days for the we pay to show payment received. Waited a month for the item to be shipped. I sent newayelectro an email asking what gives ....... was sent email that order was voided that refund would be maid thru we pay.......still dont have any confirmation of a refund.........avoid newayelctro like the plague.......stick with Amazon

Poor business practices!

I ordered a toy for my son that was no longer available at stores, and was listed as available on their website. Never received the payment confirmation so I emailed them to inquire. After no response I emailed again a few days later telling them it was a Christmas present and to please have the courtesy to let me know if they couldn't fulfill my order. They replied saying items may take up to 21 days to process. My original order was placed on Nov. 25, I never heard from them again. Stay away from this site, waste of your $ & time!!

Terrible. Wasted over a month of time for a refund.

Gigantic waste of time. I will never be ordering from them again. It took a nasty email threatening complaints to the better business burough and wepay to get my money refunded. Here is what happened:

11/18 - placed order.
11/22 - Still no payment request through wepay. Sent an email inquiring as to the whereabouts of my payment request.
11/23 - Received payment request and paid it.
12/7 - Asked for order status, online still said "payment received". Received an email back referring me to the shipping policy stating that orders take 21 business days from date of payment received.
12/30 - Asked for tracking number, threatened to file complaint if I did not receive a tracking number or refund. Online still said "payment received". Received reply stating my order was VOIDED, then received an email from wepay saying I received a refund.

Basically, that's a lot of time lost and a christmas present that was never delivered.

DO NOT TAKE THE CHANCE!

21 business days....... come and gone

still no tv. And no response to two emails over the last few days. It's christmas eve, no present under the tree. Not even a tracking number. I paid for the items on Nov. 22, you'd think they could figure it out by now. So dissapointed. Will try cancelling and buying somewhere else. And complainng to Google for allowing their website to be a part of their google search.

should have read reviews before I purchased.

I purchased a Black Pearl lego set on Nov. 22, 2011 as a christmas gift for my son. Today is the day before Christmas and still haven't received the set. When I sent a email to check on the status a few weeks ago I had one email sent back stating that this would take 21 business days. Well 21 business days have come and gone and I've heard nothing from this guy. I also noticed they took their phone number off their website. All I can say is unless you have time to waste or money to throw away DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. It wasn't worth trying to save $20 to be ripped of for $85. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM HERE!!!

Dissapointed my daughter at Christmas

AVOID THIS COMPANY !!!!!

I am very upset because I placed my order on 11/21 - 24 BUSINESS days later and after several unanswered e-mails requesting the shipping info I was told that my item is backordered with no idea when it will be in. I feel that I would never even have received this information if I hadn't voiced my concern on the company forum. Someone must have know before now that the item would not be shipped to me. Knowing this earlier, I may have been able to purchase this item that my daughter wanted so badly for Christmas. Lastly, the company phone number does not work, rings and says goodbye before disconnecting.
If this is the way that NeWay conducts business I suspect that the company will not make it long. Only been in business for a few months and they already have a really bad reputation. Hopefully my refund comes back fast because I would hate to have to take this to the Better Business Bureau.

WORST EVER

WORST COMPANY TO EVER DEAL WITH!!!! It has been almost a week and I still have not received an email requesting payment. I have called newayelectro and you have about a 1 in 100 chance of getting to talk to someone - usually it puts you on hold and then says "good-bye". I did finally talk to a rep - he said he was the only one that answered calls, etc. - and he didn't have a clue what he was doing. He said he didn't know why I didn't get an invoice from WePay - and the bottom line is - HE REALLY DIDN'T CARE. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. I contacted WePay and they tried and tried to get newayelectro to send them the pay request - they go nowwhere either. HOW CAN THIS JOINT BE AROUND LONG WHEN THEY DON'T WANT YOUR MONEY????

When I talked to the rep AGAIN this morning requesting an invoice he HUNG UP ON ME ..... no I didn't swear or anything - I told him I just wanted an invoice!!!

i ordered my items 3 days ago and im still waiting for a pay bill so if ur listening neway or wepay im waiting. i would like to change my rating to 5 stars if in the next 24 hours i get a paybill email from wepay and then all i need to do is wait 21 business days which is a full month and 1 day. please reply back neway thank you.

What to Expect with newayelectro.com

Here is my timeline:
11/21 placed order in the morning. told to wait 24 hours for WePay bill.
11/22 wrote an email in the evening as I did not get a payment email.
11/22 right after my email, got the WePay email.
11/22 Paid
12/2 after 10 days I wrote an email asking if payment was received and what date I could start counting down for the 21 day shipment. I told them that I had been scammed by new companies in the past and I just wanted to be sure my order was at the very least, In Process...
12/2 They responded by cancelling my order stating "Your order has been cancelled and full refund has been issued. So you do not need to worry that you have been scammed."
12/3 I wrote them back asking them not to cancel my order, just process it.
12/3 I received another WePay payment request, which I paid assuming my order was reinstated.
12/5 21 days from order date.
12/6 WePay credit for first payment.
12/13 Waited another 10 days. My order status on their website still showed the order as "VOIDED" So I wrote them.
12/14 wrote them again and still did not hear from them, so I contacted the Better Business Bureau.
12/15 wrote them again, no reply. wrote them through the website, called (888) 875-9928 and left a message
12/16 their website still shows my order as voided. Still no word from them about my second payment and what they did with it.
12/16 another email. another phone call.
12/17 that's today. this story is still developing. I have not officially rated this business yet... I'd say right now its at a minus 10, but I have to give them a one to be able to post this.
I'll keep all ya'll posted.

Not satisfied...

I ordered three items. I had to chase to pay. After waiting 21 days, as per shipping policy, I emailed and called. I have received a refund via WePay for the full amount, as I exceeded some unspecified quantity limit. Seems like the order should have been rejected immediately if there was a limit.

Disappointing

I successfully ordered one item, but then when I tried to order again, I got a confirmation for my order stating that I would get billed by WeBill. The bill never came. I sent DOZENS of emails through their website, (there is NO phone contact available) begging for them to bill me, and NOTHING, not even a response. I even emailed their parent company, and got NO RESPONSE. Not in spam, not anywhere. They RUINED my Christmas, because I waited as long as possible to give this order a chance, and now even if I order from someone else I won't get it in time. Thanks for RUINING two wonderful children's Christmas.

Horrible Company,Horrible Shipping Policy

I placed an order on Dec. 7 and it took 2 full days just to get a payment request from wepay.com.Still the price was much cheaper.As of the 14th I still had no shipping confirmation so I told them to refund me.Sometimes paying a cheaper price is not worth it.I would NEVER do business with the online site again.

Nice to see Newayelectro is still doing what they do best...screw people over.I was told by their snooty customer service staff that they have been in business for years and will continue to be for many years to come.Well,if these reviews are any indication of how you are continuing to do business then all I can say is,Good Luck.Ha!!!This company is a FRAUD.Please people,listen to all the reviews and STOP PLACING ORDERS!!!
