Long delivery time, almost no information

I ordered and paid a Garmin GPS receiver on April 26th, 2012. The delivery time (availability) was stated to be 2-6 days, but I still haven't got any message that the item has been shipped. After I made a request yesterday (May 9th, 2012) I get this message on the reason for the delay "The problem that caused it has already been solved and you order will be shipped until the end of the week :)" I have asked for a more precise day when the item will arrive and written that I need the GPS on Friday. Now there is silence on their 100% sataisfaction support center, and it seems it will take more than half a month before I see anything at all.
