Hi, I am a transplant from Southern California and moved to this small town called Shelbyville. I have to be honest but I was a bit hesitant going into this small grocery store. I came from a part of the country where all of the shopping appear high end and costly shops. I was pleasantly surprised. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. That is very important to me and so I went ahead and started shopping. Some items were name brands but for the most part there were items that I've never heard of. But I went ahead and picked up what I needed. I was pleasantly surprised at how good the products were and also the price of my groceries. It was so reasonable.I will definitely continue to shop here and also go to Kroger for things that Sav alot does not carry.

Nice people dont get me wrong but they are very slow. Also who bags there own groceries??

It is a good concept and they have good products at good price. However, they should probably work with another delivery firm. I have ordered on friday 30th and should have been delivered by ZAP on the 5th between 17 and 21. we are the 7th and I am still waiting. I had canceled a meeting at work to be early at home and get the delivery and I even not got a message from the delivering company that I could not be delivered. When calling ZAP the customer service mentions that it is Save-a-lot which had not transfered the packages to ZAP. When calling Save-a-lot they assure us that the packages were transfered to ZAP on the 4 december. We have in total called 3 times the customer services in ZAP and 2 times Save-a-lot and nobody seemed to be interested in solving our problem. I am very satisfied with the products offered by Save-a-lot.dk but I consider this delivery problem unacceptable. In addition nobody has even appologized for the inconveniency caused. ZAP and Save-a-lot are just throwing the problem to each others. Now I have been sitting two evenings at home waiting for the delivery and nobody know where the packages are.

Update: I got finally the packages on saturday. We were not home when the driver arrived as they had not called beforehand but managed to get everything via the help of our neighbourgs. The products were fine and everything was well packed. Let´s see now, we will try again next month and hope for a better experience. otherwise we ll stop there.

Plan to keep buying there. Just takes a bit of planing so I do only a few big purchases instead of many small.
