My worst online purchasing experience.
I have purchased a wedding dress from Sposamore and received a product that looked nothing like what was promised on the website. The tailoring was poorly done, the beading on the shoulders was completely different, and in addition to all of this, the package arrived from Hong Kong (China), instead of Italy. Upon addressing these issues, Sposamore did nothing but threaten me, and I quote the message I received via email: " whatever kind of review is done, we remind you that we have your data, we will be forced to start a legal corporate defamation procedure against you, we will ask for damages in case of negative reviews".
I believe this qualifies as the worst online purchasing experience. I have lost my money, didn't get what was promised, and above all I was threatened with a lawsuit for sharing my honest opinion about a critical situation I was in.
All in all, I will never purchase from this website again, and do not recommend it to any soon-to-be bride.

I Ordered my items after looking at Trustpilot reviews and asking sposamore by email. This is what I was subjected to.
Before buying my items, I asked Sposamore if they were really designed and PRODUCED IN ITALY. And I specifically informed in the E-mail, that I DON NOT WANT CHINESE PRODUCED ITEMS. Sposamore confirmed that products are designed and produced in Italy and therefore I assumed the product will be produced and will be coming from INSIDE OF EU AND SPECIFICALLY ITALY. This would have also avoided vat and tax not if as there were coming from outside of EU.

MY ORDER CAME FROM CHINA HONG KONG BY DHL NOT ITALY.
There is nothing mention that the product will be produced and shipped from China when I asked specifically about that. NOT what I was promised and ordered.

I confronted Sposamore and told that was not ok and I will not want this product. Due to the item being Chinese and Coming from outside the EU and not as promised from Italy. I was asked by DHL to pay tax and import charges making the total on this Chinese product as expensive as the items in my local shop. So big disappointment by a company advertise being an Italian tailor in their page and when directly asked by email.
After several E-mails with Sposamore getting nowhere. I concluded from all the emails and documentation that I have in hand which was sheared with Trustpilot, PayPal, DR, forbrugerstyrelsen "forbruger dk".
-The company sales Chinese products and ship from Hong Kong China NOT ITALY. Opposite of what is marketed on the website and replayed in the emails.
-There is only a PO BOX Address in Italy. No shop is to be found on any of the address supplied by spospmore on google maps, and the addresses point in three different places.
-The sender of all emails is clearly using translator software and is clearly don't distinguishing between capital and small letters due to the origin of there language.

-The DHL document clearly shows the origin of the item is HONG KONG, therefore reinforces my argument about Sposamore's origin CHINA NOT ITALY.
-There is no reason to send items from Italy to China and back to EU with an excuse that the shipping will be CHEAPER. On the contrary. Sending from EU to China will cause transport costs from Italy to China and from China to the EU. In addition, China will put on all incoming products customs and VAT on arrival to China. So the so-called savings by sending from China as Sposamore claims makes logical no sense. Not to mention that all products coming to the EU are subject to VAT and customs duties. So the reason for sending from Italy to China and back says itself is not profitable for any parties and make no common sense.

Today I got an email from Sposamore to remove my review or there will otherwise sue me. In total, I got 3 emails with the same notice. The copy from the email below:

Clear and simple. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SPOSAMROE. Or you will be subjected to the same as I.

UPDATE: The current answer from Sposamore is unacceptable. It shows the true side of what Sposamore is .

My reply to the "Italian" reply from Sposamore on the first part of my review above.
- Anyone can get a PO BOX address and say that they have a registered office in Italy,
- A VAT number in Italy can be acquired by anyone.
- You state that you do not recognize me as your customer: I have full
documentation, E-mails with your reply, order confirmation, shipping confirmation. Also, DHL document showing the origin of my order and DHL confirmed that shipment is sent back to the sender in HONG KONG China NOT ITALY. Additional information acquired from Italian authorities and Internet portals and services on Sposamore & CO. So this can not be denied no matter what you claim.
-You cant protect yourself if you promote your self as an Italian tailor on your website and by email, but is selling Chinese items and shipping from Hong Kong, contradicting all that you are claiming and promote overall.
-Furthermore, you're replying in Italian, is just a way to complicate things, this will not help you. And will not solve anything by hiding behind a standard reply.
This proves once more about your service to your customers and how you treat them after you got paid. All the emails I have from you are in English. But funny enough you reply only in Italian now in Trust pilot.

Regarding my order: It was sent back to China by DHL to a located in Shenzhen north of Hong Kong city. The sender has a Ltd. company in China. I lost 511 Euro due to this Sposamore. I am in contact with Paypal to understand what happened since I can't get my money back. On the Sposamore website, it states in the main page with big letters "Protected and refunded" and 100% money back guaranteed when paying with Paypal, however, it seems that this is nothing that they enforce.
Under Terms and Conditions of use - Return Policy Sposamore state:
If you aren't satisfied with your purchase: You may be eligible for a return or exchange depending on your situation.

The above statement about return policy makes Sposamore Return Policy weak if not existing to the customer. There are more alarming paragraphs in Terms and Conditions that make Sposamore unfavorable to the buyer from for a customer and they will have their way every time making any complaint or return not possible.

UPDATE 25-04-2018: I just noticed a new email in Italian from Owner of Sposamore stating. The 24 hours I had to remove my review from Trust pilot is due. I Will, therefore, be charged by Sposamore lawyer in my area the coming days "this was in April ".

Also, my review has been reported to Trust pilot time after time to engage in racist content. As claiming the company is Chinese, not Italian or the sender is using a translator even with documentation showing my clam, will block a review.

UPDATE 26-04-2018:
I have investigated the real reason behind Paypal siding with Sposamore by calling Paypal.
Paypal protection will never apply if the order is marked as custom in any way "all Sposamore orders will be marked custom as default ".
I have presented Paypal with the full documentation. Showing Sposamore confirming, the products will be designed, produced and shipped from Italy, and the DHL document showing the order coming from Hong Kong and going back to Hong Kong. However, there is nothing that can be done at Paypal side as they stand by there terms and conditions even if Sposamore is false marketing their products on their website and by email. Even if that on Sposamore website it states 100% money back guaranteed when paying with Paypal, and the customer is protected and refunded which is opposite to Paypal protection terms and conditions 3.2 Exceptions. This contradiction makes this a loophole that customer will be subject to and will lose. Paypal is informed of this, but is not willing to do a thing and will continue allowing people to fall into this loophole and make a profit on this unfortunate loophole. Paypal has also informed me the company is selling and shipping from China.

UPDATE 28-04-2018: I have been for the last few days receiving E-mails to remove my review or the will sue. The sender is marketing director of Matrimoniodafiaba. She states that Sposamore is an Italian company that designs, produce and ship from Italy to China and then back to EU. I must, therefore, remove the review that I posted at Trust pilot or the will sue me. She state, Sposamore has physical stores in Rome, Milan, Torino, Florence, Palermo. There is nothing to be found anywhere on google maps for the other locations. The sites matrimoniodafiaba, vestitidasposaeconomici, vestidosdenovias, sposanovia, and the review site Mytopreview, that Sposamore promotes on the website, are all registered to same person as Sposamore and you may be exposed to the same as I was.

The VAT registration number for Spasamore: 05649900650 is a one-man company and there is no other employees in the company. In addition, the company code is designated as AGENTS involved in the SALS "NOT PRODUCTION" of textiles, clothing, fur, footwear, and leather goods.

UPDATE 15-06-18: Same pictures of items on Sposamore.com can be found on the Internet. At least two dozen web shops have the identical pictures on their site by searching with google pictures. Enforcing the claim, that Sposamore sells mass-produced items and not tailored in Italy as promoted on the website.

UPDATE 02-10-2018: I received recently a fake treat from the commissariatod ips claiming that I will get prosecute me. The email came from for a different website then commissariatod ips in a word document which is clearly fake. I contacted commissariatod ips and showed them an email. They will investigate this fake treat with sposamore as a suspect in faking letters from an official government organization. Let's hope they can do something about them .

A documentary is being produced about Sposmaore scam with full detail of this case and be posted all over web. Also for full info that cant be shown here will be added for prof. Please search the web and you find the FULL detailed review.

I have asked Sposamore some simple questions to get an idea about the company products etc.

I sent an email to customer service and got a clear reply that the email arrived at their side and they will answer ASAP.

This was 9 of April 2018. Today we have the 3ed of of August and i have not received any answer.

As an upcoming customer, I should get the correct answers when I ask. The lack of any answer to such simple questions is very disappointing for any customer. I have sent one more email but this time I don't get any reply at all that they received my message.

News: This review have been up a few months and I have been asked in the beginning to supply to trust pilot a prove that the experience I had is genuine. It seems that this company has a tactic of reporting negative reviews to Trustpilot continuously to block the negative reviews from being seen. I have once more had the privilege of being contacted by Jose the compliance agent of trust pilot to provide proof of a genuine experience. Even if this proves was supplied in April. We have today the 3ed of August 2018
