Excellent Service

Having a problem with an aerial PSU I e-mailed the technical department of Tradeworks and received an immediate reply and solution. On ordering the part it arrived within 36 hours.
The part is now installed and the system is working perfectly.
Superb service from the Technical and Sales departments.
I will certainly use this company again.

Really Really Helpful!

Ordered some satellite equipment recently from tradeworks.tv and i am very impressed! Not only with their wide range of equipment, especially all the custom made freesat hd kits (they will even custom build them for you if you give them a call!) but the friendly and helpful manner of the staff that i dealt with.
I spoke to them on the phone several times as i wasnt sure exactly what is was that i needed for my setup and the guy went out of his way to help me. I bought a freesat HD self install kit which has enabled me to recieve over 300 free channels and around 5 HD channels. All this for just £100 and free P+P! I live in the countryside so my reception through an aerial has always been a bit dodgy, i would wholeheartedly reccomend tv reception through a satellite dish to anyone! Its great and free (apart from obvious eqippment costs!).
Thankyou so much tradeworks! You have made me and my wife VERY happy!

I have just ordered a satellite tripod too so we can take this kit away with us on our next caravan trip! This should keep the other half happy while im out walking...

I'd read you can install Satalite tv yourself so I thought I'd give it a go. To have someone who supplied everything I needed at a fraction of the cost I was expecting to pay was good, getting advice on 'how to' was invaluable.

100% first class Company

After searching round and asking different company's their opinions it was very refreshing to have a helpful and friendly conversation with someone that knew their products.
The system was delivered very quickly and i look forward to installing it for my parents at Christmas with the comfort of knowing i can contact someone should i have a problem.

Amazing prices for quality products

I needed a few parts to run my TV signal from my downstairs TV setup, to my kids bedroom TV’s upstairs.

I went to my local well known electrical shop and was shocked to see the prices of Coaxial connectors (£2.19) F connectors (£2.19) coaxial cable (£1.00 per meter-for the cheapest stuff) boosters (£20.00) splitters (£11.00)

This small job was going to cost me over £100.00.

I looked online at other well known shops and they were all around the same price.

While looking online for boosters, (I wanted one with F connecters) I googled boosters then looked at images, there was an array of different types, but one in particular caught my eye, the Triax 1-way aerial signal booster, with F-connections.

I clicked on it and a site called Tradeworks came up, the booster looked great, and only £11.45.

I looked through the site at the other parts I needed and was amazed.

Coaxial connectors £0.40
F connectors £0.10
Quality Coaxial cable £0.60 per meter
100 cable clips £1.36
Silicone £2.59
PVC tape £0.81 for a big roll

Everything I needed to do the job with quality parts all for under £50.00 including delivery.

Obviously I ordered straight away.

The parcel arrived 3 days later with everything as described on the website.

I am very happy with this site “Tradeworks” a fantastic company, great products, great service, and a great price, the cheapest online.

I will be recommending Tradeworks to all my work friends, normal friends and family alike, I will never go anywhere else for TV parts again, and if I am in a rush, next day delivery is available for a reasonable price.

I highly recommend Tradeworks, i just wish I found them years ago.

Wrong advise given as to what to order - it works but not as I would have liked

Helpful and friendly telephone staff but did not clearly understand what I wanted. Recommend a product that was not as I wanted it - it works OK but I have had to compromise on want I had intended to do. I think they may have just been keen to get the sale and not to meat my requirements.

Wrong Item Received.

I'm sorry to have to submit the lowest rating so far, but I must be truthful in my opinion.

I came across the Tradeworks website when searching for a specific 4-way TV amplifier to replace one I'd just broken in my motorhome. My requirement (for several reasons) was for an identical replacement and there were several such items on the web including some cheap new ones on eBay, but I chose the Tradeworks item as I could get it quickly and with (or so I thought) the 12v power cable and adapter included. The website said the stock quantity was "Plenty".

I paid extra postage to get the item quickly and it duly arrived within a couple of days, however, when I opened the package I discovered that I'd been sent an equivalent item of a different brand, and there was no sign of any power supply cable or adapter, I wasn't happy!

Why wasn't I contacted and advised that they didn't have the correct item? Had that happened I would have immediately requested a refund and gone elsewhere as it was an urgent order, but now I have to wait several days for them to get the correct item back in stock and then send it out, and it's only an estimate when they'll get some more in stock.

The guy I spoke to on the phone was polite and apologised for the error, hence me awarding 3 stars instead of 2!

As I said above their website stated that they had "Plenty" in stock, which was obviously wrong, and I'm not sure the correct item will come with the power supply cable as the website doesn't give any indication of this one way or the other. Online shop style websites that aren't accurately maintained are one of the main reasons I'm still to be convinced that internet shopping is more convenient, because I'm now being inconvenienced by the delay.

I'm sorry once again for giving the lowest rating so far, but had the guy on the phone not been as polite as he was, it would have actually been lower!

A Great Find!

After a lot of searching online for a place to supply me with everything I needed for a DIY Freesat installation at home, I stumbled across Tradeworks. They offered a selection of different kits for freesat installation at reasonable prices, so I stayed on the site and had a good look around. Now I've been stung in the past by companies that aren't quite what they appear, so I looked for bad reviews and found none.

I placed an order and it arrived fairly soon, and didn't cost the earth to have it delivered. The gear was of good quality too.

But the best thing about Tradeworks? Their website had all the guides necessary for me to install the dish this afternoon without any problems! I'll definitely recommend this company!

I do not usually bother with testimonials, other things to do.

I have to have either a very bad service, or one that is worth talking about before I give my verdict on a company.
With ref to Tradeworks:
We are on a long tour with our charity mainly in the west country living in a large luxury caravan, and as TV signals are sometimes poor in these conditions, we decided to try the free sat way, having nothing to do with any satalite methods before, we were completely in the dark.
We discounted caravan dealers, and high street shops, through high prices, and a lack on experience or honest help.
I found Tradeworks, and looked at their very interesting site.
I was going to buy a larger dish just to be sure, but the gentleman I spoke to talked me out of it, telling me I didnt need it, especially as we were going down south.
Many companies would have sold the larger dish to get more money out of me, but not tradeworks !
They sent the dish out to the camp site we were staying at with next day delivery, without fuss.
An added bonus would be I do not think I could have found a better price.
when I had trouble tuning it in, I was put right over the phone by a very helpful man, (it was only my lack of experience not having anything to do with dishes).
Every location we have stayed at these past 6 months, we have had perfect TV reception, tuning is a doddle once you know how, the sat finder works great, but it would also be just as easy without it.
the box instructions we have said if we have a signal over 50%, we would have a good reception, we usually have 95% !
the only comment is if any one uses a tripod put guide ropes on it should it be windy, but that is just common sence.
We would recommend free sat to anyone, and we would recommend buying the system from Tradeworks.
We have had many campers ask about what we have while touring and have recommended Tradeworks.

Great service and small order accepted

Needed bits and bobs to extend cable and net around the home. Clips, cable, wall grommets, internal sockets, silicone and the like. Bought everything in the volume I needed (not huge) and was pleased to receive my order in 2 days.

Good Aftersales, A little expensive on delivery.

Had a great experience ordering a freesat kit from tradeworks. My only bugbear is they never delivered next day on it due to the specific model I wanted being out of stock. They did however inform me and offer an alternative but I had my mind set on a particular humax box.

The price was good and when I called up a helpful guy called Matt helped me line up the dish. Being a novice at DIY it would have been good if they provided the spanner I needed as I had to get one from the local DIY shop. However they say they have taken this on-board.

The delivery was a little expensive, however again they have said they are addressing this as it was a technical fault with the site. So overall a very good experience and I would buy again from them.
