I love Uniqlo

I love Uniqlo, they are the new Gap. Have been for years. I've still got clothes from 25+ years. Half my wardrobe is probably from them. Not one issue, ever. I've never used their delivery service although I have had on or two things click and collect.
Their prices are very reasonable and often have sales.

Jean cannot be refunded

Altered items cannot be refunded, even though the jeans necessarily require alteration. I was misled by the mixed units of measurement (inches and cm) used.

AVOID / RACIST / RUDE / AGGRESSIVE STAFF! THEIVES

I have had an extremely disappointing experience with Uniqlo and would not recommend shopping with this company based on my personal experience.

From the moment I encountered issues with my order, I felt completely ignored as a customer. My delivery went missing, yet getting any meaningful assistance proved almost impossible. Reaching customer service was frustrating, and on multiple occasions I felt that staff members were dismissive and unhelpful. Calls were abruptly ended without my concerns being properly addressed, leaving me feeling as though nobody was willing to take responsibility for resolving the issue.

What made the experience even worse was the lack of communication from management. I was repeatedly told that someone would contact me regarding my complaint, but no manager ever followed up. Despite numerous attempts to seek updates, I received little to no information and was left chasing answers on my own.

For a company that generates millions in revenue and operates globally, I expected a much higher standard of customer care. Instead, the service felt disorganised, with representatives appearing unable or unwilling to deal with customer concerns effectively. The overall impression was that customer issues were treated as an inconvenience rather than a priority.

The missing delivery was only part of the problem. The bigger issue was the complete lack of accountability and support afterwards. Customers spend their hard-earned money expecting products to arrive and, if something goes wrong, expecting the company to help put things right. In my case, I felt ignored, passed around between different representatives, and left without satisfactory answers.

I was also concerned by what I perceived as unfair and disrespectful treatment during my interactions with customer service. The experience left me feeling undervalued as a customer and seriously questioning whether the company genuinely cares about the people who support its business.

Overall, my experience with Uniqlo has been one of the worst customer service experiences I have encountered. Between the missing delivery, poor communication, lack of managerial follow-up, and unsatisfactory customer support, I have lost confidence in the company. Based on my personal experience, I would not shop with Uniqlo again and would encourage potential customers to carefully consider whether they are comfortable taking the risk should any issues arise with their orders.

Utterly shocking

Utterly shocking. Delivery keeps getting delayed. Wont refund and in fact are nothing other than obstructive..i am entitled to a refund as never received parcel. They can see this. Why they can't contact dpd is beyond me. There is no phone number to even contact them, just online chat. Avoid

Uniqlo gets a failing grade

I have ordered from Uniqlo à couple of times. The first time, I was not impressed by the quality in comparison to the price. So I’m not sure why i came back à year later. The second time sealed the deal, however. No more Uniqlo.

Many of my bad customer service experiences involve the delivery company, Seur. So it’s no surprise that they said they delivered my order and it was not on my doorstep. I have security cameras so wherever it ended up was NOT at my house. I can’t blame Uniqlo for that except to say that I’m not sure how or why companies select their delivery partners. What I can blame Uniqlo for is à 26-digit order number and à customer service process that seems unnecessarily difficult to use. They actually instruct you to call the delivery company. That wasn’t going to happen.

So i got on the Chat (after searching for it for awhile). I was told that I would be emailed further instructions in 24 hours. No incident number was provided, no follow-up email with the transcript of the chat, nothing.

After 24 hours, I disputed the charge and got my money back from PayPal. Moments after PayPal credited my account (thanks, PayPal!), I received à long letter from Uniqlo to initiate an investigation and find à solution. I do understand that companies get scammed. But I can’t think of any other company that has made the “order not received” process so distasteful!

The Exchanges & Returns system is…

The Exchanges & Returns system is unnecessarily complicated and honestly feels completely outdated.

Why is an online return not allowed in store? If I bought an item online, I should be able to return it to a Uniqlo store instead of having to package it up, print/arrange a return and send it back through the post. This creates completely unnecessary packaging, transportation and environmental waste — all for something that could easily be handled in a store.

And then there is a £2.95 return fee. So I have to pay for the privilege of returning an item that simply didn’t work for me, while Uniqlo makes the process as complicated as possible.

What makes it even more ridiculous is that exchanges are ONLY available in stores. So for an online purchase, I can’t exchange it through the online returns system, but I can’t return it in a store either. Instead, I have to return the original item, wait for the refund, and then place another order. This means more packaging, more deliveries, more transport and more unnecessary hassle.

The whole process seems unnecessarily restrictive:

* Online purchases cannot be returned in stores.
* Online returns cost £2.95.
* Exchanges are only possible in stores.
* Some online-exclusive items cannot be exchanged at all.
* Customers are forced into additional deliveries and packaging instead of being given a simple in-store solution.

For a modern international retailer, this is a surprisingly inconvenient and environmentally unfriendly returns policy. Other retailers make returns and exchanges much easier. Uniqlo should seriously reconsider this system and give customers the option to return online purchases in store — ideally for free.

At the moment, the whole process feels like it was designed to make returns as inconvenient as possible. 🤣

Forget it if there’s even the slightest chance you will need to return an item

While the clothes aren’t too bad, some are overpriced and poor. There isn’t a Uniqlo branch anywhere near me so have to rely upon online shopping. Where it all goes horribly wrong is if you have to return something…and by the way, returns are £2:95 so not a FoC service, either. Like many customers, additional ‘accounts’ are unwanted as they just generate junk mail / junk email, so guest checkout was used. This makes it nearly impossible to impossible to access your order…you have to create a guest account involving a 36 character Guest Login plus add a 26 digit order number…then follow an 11 step returns process. Of course the item that needed a return didn’t show in the ‘purchase history’ so I ended up on Uniqlo’s online chat. For 45 minutes. Begging them to just email a returns label. Absolute joke, have a very generous gift voucher to use up, but after that I won’t use Uniqlo again. Bad joke and unforgivable returns procedure when other companies send out a QR code via one click process - often FoC, too!

I should know by now the sizing is weird!

The sizing continues to be weird! I've already wear their Airism vests but when I ordered the ribbed vest, it's comically long and I had to return. It irks me that this is classified as "change of mind", hence I don't get a full refund, because the sizing is just plain wrong e.g. I'm 6ft tall and it was only a medium! On the plus side, their fabrics seem to wear well and the InPost Locker delivery is convenient and reliable.

Avoid Uniqlo - worst customer service

I’m so dissatisfied at the way my click and collect order has been handled. I ordered almost a week ago and still waiting to get email, went to the store and they couldn’t help even though the product was available, asking me to purchase another and get refund for the order, very distressing as item was needed urgently for a Friday and I had been waiting since Monday. If I had to pay twice might as well have gone to another store. Uniqlo’s interpretation of click and collect differs from other stores so AVOID this store if you need anything in a few days let alone a few hours!!!

I ordered the wrong leg length and contacted thir customer service within 45 min of placing the order, asking them to rectify it. However, a week later I still receive a wrong order. I suspect they deliberately sent the altered length because such items cannot be returned. If only I had read their reviews before making a purchase. I will never order again from this company. I would not even give one star to a business with such dubious practices. Shame on them!

Ordered 4, Got 3.

First I would like to verify my Review by stating the Guest ID and Order ID being:
Order number: 0720009032608012012-1198325
Guest ID:7562e6abec83eede5cf1a84de195b89a

I should have read the reviews before even ordering from them. Not only did I receive only 3 items when ordering 4, but when sending the 3 I got back, and stating the fact in the comment. I got Refunded for only 3 resulting in that company STEALING my Money. Of course not only that is terrible but having to pay for the Retoure yourself. Which is insane. Order for around 60 eur, got 40 euro back. I will be opening a PayPal Case.

Appalling customer service abd aggressive marketing.

I had to make an account to place an order and have since been bombarded by marketing emails. At least 3 a day so far. Tried to unsubscribe but the page doesn't work. There's no telephone number to call and the chatbot just sends you round in a loop. The actual products were ok but appalling customer service and way too many emails. They do not make it easy to cancel.

Beyond crap

Ordered £100 of stuff. By 5 days later it was finally out for delivery. Dpd then diverted it to the post office and claimed I did. They then sent it back to the warehouse despite me not requesting it. They are still holding on to my money for several more days.
What’s the like?

Ordered online

Ordered online, chose express delivery at checkout. It did NOT say which courier would deliver. Turns out it was UPS who is as incompetent as ever and caused me much undue stress. Uniqlo are falsely claiming the package was delivered, but it has not been. They asked me for some paperwork to claim a refund on the presumption I have got the items but I have not! They were given advanced notice that UPS messed up and still despite providing them with all the information they refuse to issue a refund for items I haven't even received. Total scam. Customer service gaslights you. Horrible company. Avoid.
