Very disappointing experience with Agoda and its customer support.
The support is far too slow, and it often feels like requests are not properly read or understood. Even for simple issues, I had to contact them multiple times before getting any meaningful response.
Recently, I had several problems during a stay booked through Agoda. The property did not provide the check-in details on time, which resulted in unnecessary hassle and a delayed check-in. Later, despite requesting one, the property failed to provide a duvet or blanket, leaving only a sheet on the bed.
To make matters worse, there was a power outage at the property shortly before checkout. This meant I had to check out without access to basic amenities such as the fridge, coffee facilities, hairdryer, and even proper water pressure.
I reported these issues to Agoda and requested a partial refund for affected days, but the request was rejected on the basis that the property had rejected it. This was particularly frustrating — if Agoda is acting as the booking platform and customer support provider, why is the property effectively the one making the final decision on a complaint about the stay?
Overall, this was a very poor experience, both with the property and especially with Agoda’s handling of the situation. The lack of timely and effective customer support completely undermined the value of booking through the platform.
After this experience, I will not be using Agoda again.

Not instant confirmation as advertised. No customer service.
The page says "Instant confirmation available", but the order was stuck in processing for 30 minutes. Tried to contact their customer service, but the bot won't let me through and keep saying "We cannot find any booking related to your account. Please log in with another email address." even after order confirmed.
The experience sucks.

Watchout for extra bookings
Whilst going through the booking process your website told me that the room I was booking had now been taken and I needed to start again if I wanted to continue to book a room - which I did. I then booked a room for an upcoming stay. The following morning on my emails I noticed that in fact I had actually booked TWO (2) rooms, which then caused me to have to ring the Hotel direct - first to find out if I had booked 2 rooms - which I had and then to get one cancelled.

When I tried to book something else on…
When I tried to book something else on the same dates, it wouldn’t let me until I cancelled the first booking, as I had free cancellation. I found this risky, as for a moment I didn’t have anything booked. You need to change that, so you can book more than one accommodation, if free cancellation, on the saw dates. Very frustrating.
