Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Evaluating 925 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Reviewers frequently complained about the exceptionally poor customer service, expressing deep frustration over the complete lack of helpful support and the immense difficulties encountered when trying to reach a real person to resolve urgent account security issues. Consumers also noted that the digital platform is heavily swarmed with unwanted spam, deceptive advertisements, and inappropriate content that unfortunately goes completely unaddressed by content moderators. However, some people also felt that the online network remains surprisingly useful for specific business purposes, local marketplace activities, and staying in touch with friends despite the numerous drawbacks.

Stealing peoples info and photos

Facebook continues to use discriminatory practice to disable some account and leave others that post the same things. They steal people’s memories and photos. If this happens to you please collect as much evidence as possible. There will be a class action one day.

Promoting SO many scams

Promoting SO many scams. I am fed up with falling for products on Facebook that turn out to be out and out scams (see some of my other reviews on here). I keep seeing things that look amazing, buy them only to either never actually receive anything at all or it turns out nothing like what is advertised on Facebook. I think I need to stop using Facebook all together. I would definitely advise people NEVER, EVER, EVER, EVER buy anything from anyone advertising anything on Facebook.

Facebook has stopped access to…

Facebook has stopped access to accounts, everytime you try to log in it states log in using another device, I don't have one, I cannot gain access from resetting password via the hacked route either, Facebook dumb security checks are taking the piss, I have a password for a reason, I've stopped logging in now as it's to time consuming, Facebook have no means to chat on the phone and a company with no customer support is not worth my time, delete your accounts and remove the revenue they make from us, avoid avoid avoid at all costs

My Facebook account was restricted

My Facebook account was restricted, and I submitted an appeal through Facebook's official appeal process. It has now been over a year, and I still haven't received any meaningful update or resolution.
Even my profile shows no restriction & my profile is verfied by govt. authorzied ID, still my account is restricted.

Every time I check, I see the same restricted-account message. There is no clear explanation of what went wrong, no information about the status of my appeal, and no way to speak directly with a human support representative who can actually investigate the case.

What is particularly frustrating is that Meta provides an appeal option but offers no transparency about what happens after an appeal is submitted. Users are left waiting indefinitely with no accountability.

I am not asking for special treatment. I simply want my account reviewed fairly, a clear explanation of the restriction, and a proper decision on my appeal.

More than a year without a meaningful response is unacceptable. Extremely disappointing customer support from Meta.

I had my account for roughly 20 years…

I had my account for roughly 20 years now. Today I tried to log in to check my messages, Facebook asked me to use a device that I log in previously to prove that me is me. I am on a device on which I log in previously, I just logged on it few days back and then another few day back. But hell, I went distances to bring up and un-dust my old computer. I turn it on and try to log in just to find out that Facebook asks me exactly the same thing, to log in from my previous device. I had that computer for over 10 years, I don't have any previous devices, I would even know what would be a previous device after 10 years. I can't reset the password either. Nonsense!

Meta Continues Charging Me While Blocking My Access to My Advertising Account

Title: Serious Complaint Against Meta: Account Restriction, Unauthorized Ongoing Ad Spending, and Complete Lack of Customer Support

I am extremely disappointed with Meta's handling of my advertising account and the complete lack of support provided to resolve this situation.

My advertising account was suddenly restricted, and I lost access to Ads Manager and the tools necessary to manage my advertising campaigns. Despite repeatedly attempting to resolve the issue, my account has still not been restored.

What makes this situation particularly serious is that my advertising campaigns continue to spend money while I am completely unable to access my account, pause the campaigns, or stop the ongoing charges.

In other words, Meta continues charging my payment method while denying me access to the very tools I need to control my spending.

Even more frustrating is the complete absence of an effective customer support channel. I have been unable to reach a representative who can investigate the issue, stop the ongoing charges, or provide a clear explanation and resolution.

This raises several serious concerns:

1. Why are advertising campaigns still spending money when the account owner has been restricted from accessing and managing them?
2. Why does Meta provide no effective emergency support channel for situations involving ongoing financial losses?
3. Why should customers continue bearing financial consequences caused by a restriction they cannot resolve or even properly appeal?
4. Why is there no accessible way to immediately suspend all active advertising campaigns when account access is revoked?

I understand that Meta has security policies and account review procedures. However, these policies should never prevent customers from protecting themselves against ongoing financial losses.

I formally request that Meta:

- Immediately suspend all active advertising campaigns associated with my restricted account.
- Stop all further advertising charges until this matter is resolved.
- Restore my access to the advertising account or provide a clear explanation of the restriction.
- Investigate the financial charges incurred while I was unable to manage my campaigns.
- Provide direct communication with a qualified support representative.

I have invested time, effort, and money into building my advertising operations using Meta's platform. Being left without access, without support, and without any means of stopping ongoing spending is completely unacceptable.

I am publishing this complaint because private attempts to resolve the issue have not resulted in a solution. I expect Meta to take responsibility and address this matter urgently.

If a tenth of star was available it still would not be enough for them to understand the frustration that your on your own when a hack happens on your account.
NO body, nothing is there to help you except AI which is useless as every situation is unique, I am going in circles, slowly going mad trying to get some help from a human being.
My account has been active for over 30 years, for it to suddenly be shut down is like cutting off both legs.

Disgusting customer service, feel abandoned and rejected

Spottly Cleaning Services, Perth, WA, Don’t Use

We had used this cleaning company several times previously, so it is extremely disappointing that our experience has ended this way.

On our most recent booking, a different cleaner was sent. The clean took considerably longer than expected, the standard of cleaning was poor, and we were charged for the additional time.

More seriously, following the visit, we discovered that items were missing from our bedroom and ensuite, where the cleaner had spent a considerable amount of time. We raised our concerns with the owner, but were told the cleaner denied taking anything and that the owner believed her, as she was her sister-in-law. Unfortunately, no further action or support was offered. We have since reported our concerns to the police.

We also have concerns about the business advertising itself as a one-person service when others have regularly attended our home, leaving us questioning whether everyone entering customers' homes is properly vetted as advertised.

Ultimately, the biggest disappointment has been the way our concerns were handled and the complete loss of trust. We would no longer feel comfortable using or recommending this service.

AVOID THE RED LION UPPER SUNDON LU3 3PD…

AVOID THE RED LION UPPER SUNDON LU3 3PD - You’ll get fleeced, abused or worse! As some who work there, are the most irrational and rude staff I have ever encountered.

Only three worth their weight in that place are Wendy, Sue and Kelly! These I would call PROPER bar staff, with epic bar skills, manners, emotional regulation and compassion!

Conor and his assistant manager Molly, well their skill for bar work and human engagement, have vast areas of improvement!

DO NOT TAKE MINORS OR VULNERABLE PEOPLE TO THIS VENUE - They maybe traumatised by her over use of the C word, and other vulgarities not suitable for a venue claiming on its socials to be a family establishment.

Equally, the questionable physical contact this staff member has with both male and female customers is not something for children’s eyes!

Who knew women groping men was going to be an acceptable culture in 2026, but Molly has grabbed older males in inappropriate areas and remarked how long is it since that’s been used?

Sadly, at THE RED LION, UPPER SUNDON, any valid or reasonable complaints will be ignored!

There is no pride taken over operational service or care given to customer queries over miscalculated tabs and staff misconduct.

THESE WILL BE IGNORED by the manager Conor, whose lacking presence and leadership skills misalign to the licensing objectives that these types of premises are intended to promote.

This venues WEAK leadership has been in place since 2023. It now sits empty or closed by 8pm most week nights, and rarely busy unless there is an event booked at the weekends.

It’s been sad to witness, with many local residents watching our local pub turn into an unsafe and offensive environment they just avoid.

A shadow of the community centred venue Cedric and Elaine, the previous managers had created.

In contrast to Conor, who it seems, is not only incapable of engaging a normal conversation. But feels customer concerns are an unnecessary part of his managerial responsibilities.

Where it is greatly understood by ALL locals, that Conor Clarke doesn’t have the leadership skills to proactively manage discussions over his staff’s distressing and vulgar conduct!

This man fails to communicate either with the customers who are being victimised or his overzealous and chaotic staff who consistently abuse customers, and him publicly.

Anyway, if you’re masochist, who likes paying for the privilege of being over charged, for a flat pint, in a dirty glass and enjoy being called the C word, THE RED IS FOR YOU!

Although, getting the drink may take some time, as you only get served once the staff has been to see Charlie…. if that’s your thing ! Then by all means, head on down to the good old Dead Red!

But personally, I’ll be waiting for this weak leadership to move on, as being told I am no longer welcome after challenging a tab I now know was inaccurate. Was the last straw in a long line of horrific service from this place!

I wouldn’t drink in there again under Conor’s management, not even, if for once he managed to serve a drink in a clean glass and was giving it away for free as an apology!

Such a shame to see the previous managers hard word all undone by these jokers!

Facebook is the least user-friendly social media site

Truly awful; I've spent most of the last two months shadowbanned from groups because Facebook's algorithm keeps pinging me for spam for things I've been doing for ages and that lots of others in these groups do regularly. I am not spamming, I am engaging. Today I got banned trying to post pictures of my cockatiel to a cockatiel group ON HIS BIRTHDAY. And I had no links or tags in it.

Worse, there is nobody you can appeal to, nobody you can talk to, and no way of even knowing how long the ban is or when it lifts; if you test it too soon and it's not lifted yet, it can refresh. Is it for 1 day? 3 days? 7 days? 30 days? No knowing, and even Facebook's own awful AI support system admits it doesn't know how it works.
