I placed an order for a pair of shorts and received the order confirmation. Then nothing. No order tracking or anything. I contacted them after two weeks and got the ' Unfortunately due to an error in our inventory...' style e-mail saying the item is not in stock asking me to chose something else (not offering me a refund).
I replied saying I wanted to cancel the order and they did cancel it and refunded my money to my credit card (saying it could take up to 10 business days). The refund did come through.
If you place an order with this company expect the item to not be in stock and expect to have to keep following up and chasing your order or refund - they won't be pro-active so you have to do the work.
Note that I'm in Australia and as the company is also in Australia I was covered by Australian consumer law. This may be why I received a refund, when it looks like other reviewers have not.
Also, this company/person also runs the site ericsalodesign.com which looks extremely similar.
Their business model seems to be to get people to order something and then make it very difficult to actually get the goods you ordered or to get a refund.
Comparing this company to a company I have had a great experience with (timoteo.net) is like chalk and cheese!

I placed an order on 22 /08/2024. I still haven't received the goods today 08/10/2024. I sent more emails to their customer service but I haven't received response yet. It's my fault that I didn't read the reviews which are quite clear.

This company gladly takes your money for items that you think are in Stock, no confirmation E-mail on anything shipped, i have spent lots with this company in the past and all to often the items are no longer available , no amount in stock is able to be seen, getting more untrustworthy as time goes buy, the last 3xorders i got nothing from 2 of them & the 1st order wasn't complete all the way back to the 7th month and now it's the eleventh, WARNING just don't deal with them, the name should be (steal by Eathan).

There were a number of red flags warning me that this website might be a scam and fraudulent.

No confirmation order email sent.
No postal tracking ID given.
Only 1 of the 3 items was actually in stock.
Testimonials on the site were all ***** and very similarly written.
No answer/response to my repeated emails.
I ordered clearance items that had showed several sizes in stock, when other websites with identical items only had 1 size left, or no stock.
$150 US, 4 months later and still nothing received.

In future I will purchase direct from the manufacturer's own sites.

The deal is: they take your money, they never send anything and never answer any communications whatsoever. Nothing but a fraud.

I have placed two orders with these guys over $100 USD and never received them. Since they're in Australia, and the pandemic got in the way, I was patiently giving them time to get their act together, but for one order it's been over a year. For another, it's been 2 months. They're not answering the repeated emails I've sent them. I hope my bank will be able to recoup the funds on the basis of fraud.

Don’t waist your money!! Scam!!

Was a little reluctant to order from a company based in Australia and to be honest I did see the item advertised elsewhere, but decided to go with the cheaper option. Due to the "Coronavirus situation" item first had to ship as part of a bulk shipment to the retailer's "other warehouse", which took 5 weeks. When item shipped from there I was able to track the parcel (not via the email link because it didn't work) and it then took a further 2 weeks to arrive in the UK (via Germany). Item arrived complete and has met my expectations from this particular clothing brand. Initial email enquiries were answered in a timely manner. Not sure if I would use again based on a 7 week delivery time but on this occasion the (long) wait was worth it.

Neutral experience. I came across their site which had an item available that was discontinued by the manufacturer and was one of the only websites still showing it available which seems to be a common situation with them. I should have done more due dilligence but their site looked convincing enough so I placed an order. I then read the reviews and thought for sure I would never get my money back. I emailed them immediately and the next day they replied saying they did not have the item in stock and they actually refunded my entire amount of $112 back to my original payment method.

Constantly selling items that they don't have in stock and tying peoples money up for long periods of time with no communications. It seems like what is happening that they are selling items they don't have and try to find the items that people are wanting. Not having their own stock. LOL looks like I have a also been blocked from the site now getting a 403 forbidden after I said I was going to report them to the consumer protections. Too funny don't waste your money or time here shop elsewhere.

Scandalous! I didn't receive my purchase after waiting 1 month and they never answer to my emails. I've ordered in shop around the world, it's the first time that I don't receive what I ordered.
I'm afraid my money is wasted...

Seller will never repond to emails. I put a hold on the transaction due to no communication. And my package i received was incomplete. Thats when this seller started contacting me begging for his money. And one of this sellers tactics is sending us, the buyer, different items from "different warehouses" but never will receive your complete order. If you could, file a dispute and dont cancel disputes until you receive you very last item on your order as you may receive 20 packages on 20 items. Or never receive them at all.

Stay away from this site!
Ordered an item from them, waited a few months, while being promised that it is soon to be delivered.
Product finaly arrived , but in the wrong measurements. As they told me, I've returned it, and never got the right size back... no money returned either!!!!

They lead you on, and most of the time just ignore you!

I wouldn't trust this website ever again,it took 2 weeks for them to reply to my enquire of the whereabouts of my items, only after i filed a PayPal dispute that they responded and told me one of the items was out of stock,and that the others are on there way to me and some items on the way to them and as soon as they get them they will post to me. All my orders were put in on one order but they source them from all over the world with lead times and delivery times all in total could be well up to 2 months or more if your Lucky. Better off getting gear from the brands own website if possible and avoid the hassle.

I have used this site three times, and its always the same: I'm sorry due to an error in our system the product or size you want is not available. They never proactively tell you this - you have to chase them. Usually after 2-3 weeks i reach out to them to get details on my order, and this is when they tell you about the error. My last order (and it will be my last order) - i purchased 9 items... only to find that only 2 of them were available (after taking all my money)... and then when 1 of the items finally arrives its the wrong size. Eventually they refund you the money, but after deducting an "adjusted" shipping cost due to my order being now under their free limit (through no fault of my own). So damn frustrating.
I wont be using them again.
I expected more from a company based in Australia - and in fact i think some of what they are doing is illegal under the Competition & Consumer Act 2010.

Okay so I ordered a Candyman brand Bullfighter costume on Thursday October 3rd for Halloween. I didn't hear anything back until October 7th which is only two full business days. But over that weekend I read some of the negative reviews on this site and I decided to put in a PayPal dispute. Well it messed everything up because Deal by Ethan emailed me and was basically thinking that I was trying to scam them because I placed the dispute so they withheld the package. So long story short, after a brief email exchange we basically came to the conclusion that we both thought we were gonna get scammed by one another and they ended placing their trust in me and sending the my costume through expedited shipping for free. It got here October 14th. They were very sweet even though I accused them of scamming me and they got me my stuff that wasn't available anywhere else. So glad they had it in stock and I'm even happier they didn't scam me. Everything worked out! I got my package super fast. The customer service department is down to earth. If you ever have any issues just contact them and they'll work with you to get it figured out.

I order from DealByEthan several times and never went smooth the deal.
Almost allways not have the item in stock and I must wait 1-2 month.

DO NOT PLACE AN ORDER WITH THIS COMPANY. They process your credit card and then you never hear from them again and YOU DO NOT GET YOUR PRODUCTS - EVER! I'VE REFUSED TO PAY MY CREDIT CARD AMOUNT. IF YOU DID PLACE AN ORDER STOP PAYMENT ON YOUR CREDIT CARD. YOU'LL NEVER GET THE PRODUCT.

ALSO, THEY'LL LOCK YOU OUT OF YOUR ACCOUNT. TOTAL SCAMMERS!

Seems like a scam to me. I ordered three items, received an order confirmation but no shipping information. After a week, I emailed them. I did get a fast response which was the same "Inventory Error" response that others describe. They offered other sizes but I asked for a refund. They indicated they had completed the refund and that it may take 5-10 bus days to appear depending on my financial institution. It's been 2 days and I have yet to see the refund. I suspect they hope you will forget about your order, then drag their feet on the refund and hope you'll forget about that too. It really seems like a scam site to me.

they do not have the items in stock. no real inventory. you pay and they dont ship and hope that you forget. it's a scam.
