too much a i info ,,hard to get money back ,,full info and long way ,for simple retour this is not good to buy ,,it look they try to lrt you pay for shipping ,and ad say shipping free ,i go to paypall for my money back

The good old days of Ebay have gone. Awful place now as a private seller. Too many posting options, too many demands eg item specifics, and the slightest defect the buyer claims money back. If they want perfect buy new. The whole platform customer interface is just too complicated, confusing, irrelevant, time consuming and full over sellers items being thrusted in a search. Much easier free to use seller marketplaces out there now, no fess and not stupid rules. No more dosh from me in fees Ebay, losing customers aswell as the plot.

They blocked my account without giving a reason and refused to process my refunds!! Disgusting!!

They won't send me MY INVOICES of custom duties!

For my taxes I need invoices of custom duties and they won't give it to me, but they HAVE to do that by law.

Also, there are sold A LOT of fake designeritems on Ebay ( I send warning messages on items to them every day), so beware!

Been an eBay customer for over 12 years, and now leaving over a £30 purchase. No buyer protection and awful customer service. Customer service sends you round in circles so they don't have to pay a refund.

If you are a seller please don’t sell items on eBay you have no seller protection at all if a buyer claims something is damaged they can return even if it isn’t they still get a refund it’s absolutely ridiculous eBay is a joke

They simply suspended my seller account saying " it exhibits a risk to eBay and to its community" without providing any reason, a very unprofessional customer service, first time I heard this funny excuse from such a big online merchant company.

I was banned on ebay my account was years old something about high risk thing is they do not even tell you why the site is a joke clowns shop on amazon instead

Just to say that many have written about the good and bad on eBay. I have been trading since 2013 and I have only had 2 serious issues, both dealt with after lobbying eBay. I have now decided to use them for business and for personal use, and whilst the fees are fiersome, by planning this in, and knowing that this is the same for everyone, it becomes a really good level playing field.

I am delighted with eBay, and I know some struggle, but it is a safe place to sell for all concerned.

I ordered products 10 months ago. I have been promised the products twice but I have still not got them. Is this typical for ebay. Is it just a spam the whole site. Be careful when you order.

Are you a honest and just a regular privat seller? Stay away from e-bay, you have been warned. E-bays rules are so biased and harsh, you will end up loosing both the money and the item you sold.
Ebay rules for sellers are scamers paradise. I got ripped off my coat, my money and my time. There are unscrupulous buyer who open a claim directly with eBay, like in my case, who it issues an automatic refund without any evidence from me being considered. I wrote dozens of emails to ebay customer service, prove the fraud,but nothing happens.The buyer is under ebays lavish "buyers protection" and she knows that.

Ebay not much better then Paypal. Same thinking on what you can sell and pay for user Paypal.
They only offer Paypal as a payment window for sellers to use. NOT GOOD! 21st Century here.

I have been an EBay customer for nearly twenty years . Have had a few problems but not drastic . That was until I bought Lazy spar . The advert looked nothing like the item delivered . Lots of parts were missing , I contacted EBay and they decided in the sellers favor in ten minutes . What’s the point in trading an an EBay guarantee when really your just another company that don’t careless about your buyers . . I’ll stick with the Chinese websites at least there customer service is very good .

Overall happy with ebay. Great place to find something unusual.

Would give it zero stars if allowed, they refuse to step in and contact one of their sellers after sending the wrong xmas gift item and offering 50% discount to keep the wrong item then does not refund me?
Save yourself the hassle and use Amazon instead, they have great customer care and genuinely want to help, they also read through correspondence and make the decision that the seller promises .

I am a frequent shopper on Ebay and I always find just what I am looking for at a great and fair price. Every item has been exactly as described and the sellers answer questions promptly. Everything arrives in perfect condition and I am so happy that I can shop with confidence on line and not have to run around town and often come home tired and disappointed.

Although I've only used EBay as a purchaser, not as a seller I've never had a single disappointment in any of my purchases.
I'd, strongly advise buyers do not make purchases from commercial vendors in Facebook, firstly check EBay as you may get a better deal, secondly many of Facebook vendors are running scams, you don't get what you thought you'd purchased.
Facebook have no means of handling complaints.
Stick to Ebay, I sure that you'll be happier with your purchases...

Very happy as a buyer but very unhappy as a seller .

I have been a member with ebay since 2004 and have an outstanding feedback record of 100% on nearly 300 items. I bought something before Xmas and it never arrived so I contacted them as instructed whence they told me to wait until 30th December after contacting the seller. The item did not arrive but because the courier was at the premises ebay found for the seller. The courier did not get a signature and did'nt tell me where it was left and with whom. I live in an apartment of 20 with communal halls so I have no idea as to where it is if at all. Ebay you ought to be ashamed of yourselves but it just proves they will side with a seller on most occasions as this generates more money. I have asked them to close my account and I'll use Amazon in future whom I have never had a problem with.

Fake name brands and my accts connected for payment oftetimes is infringed upon after I search the site. Secure it or shut it down
