Intermouse 

took laptop for repair and constantly fobbed off until recieving call from owner saying my computer had been stolen off the counter and that it happens quite frequently with all the low lifes on the Rushden high st (there words not mine). intermouse are the only low lifes on the high st, no contact from them to fix situation and now in hands of police and trading standards AVOID

I took a laptop to Intermouse at 110 High Street Rushden for a minor repair, I was told it would take a couple of weeks. After 3 weeks passed I went in and was told they were waiting for a part and it would be ready the following week. Then the shop shut and the phone number stopped working. I found an alternative number and left numerous messages on the voicemail asking if they could call back and let me know what was going on. Nobody ever called back. 10 weeks after the laptop had been taken in I was walking along the high street and noticed the shop door was open so went in and was told the shop was shut and was moving over the road under a new name Intermouse Computers Ltd. I went to the new shop which was like a building site and spoke to a chap who said he was the owner but not of the old shop. He couldn't find my laptop and didn't seem interested. A woman then came out and found my laptop in pieces surrounded by dust and rubbish. I asked when it would be ready and she said it wasn't her problem and I'd have to speak to Mark the owner of the old shop and who seems to also run the new shop, he wasn't there and she didn't know where he was or when he would be there. She then got fairly nasty when I pushed for his phone number. His number written on a board in the shop and I left him several messages asking to return my call, he never did. I was offered my laptop back glued together.

Trading standards are now on the case, to date I have heard nothing from Intermouse as to when or if I will get my laptop put back together.
