I was quoted £75 per phone (x2) no issues, worn but not faulty or abused. Recieve an email today to say scratched etc blah blah, new value is £60 for both. Have called to say send me photos (customer service guy was fine) waiting for these to compare with my photos. Let's see this so called damage

Previous customer but never again
I have used this company several times in the past but I will never use them again. I was quoted £230 for my iPhone 14 which is in excellent condition. The battery is still on 85% capacity, there aren’t any scratches on on case or screen (the screen has a protector on). I received an email today offering me £90 on the basis that the contactless is malfunctioning. It was working when I sent it but I have had an intermittent issue that I assumed was down to the I had on it as that had RFID protection (I wasn’t sure if this would affect it) but they are saying it was intended for the US market and that is why it’s only £90. I don’t accept that I bought that from Giff Gaff as a refurbished like new model in 2024 so it was bought in the UK. Having just looked into how you tell this and find that this is a load of BS they are using to reduce prices as it makes no difference to anything other than the warranty. The new iPhone 17 I purchased in July from the local Apple Store has the letters for Denmark, Norway and Sweden on it but the info I have found states that this can also be found in the UK. Which it clearly can since I purchased it from the Apple store. When I placed the order I forgot to write down the IMEI number before I reset it and deleted the data so couldn’t put that on the order. However, I remembered today that I took a screenshot of it last year so I looked that up and I do still have it. Once the phone is returned I will be checking that to ensure I have received my phone back. Mazuma you have lost a repeat customer who has recommended you in the past and will not be doing so again.

Made a few quid out broken ipad
Made a few quid out ipad with bent body and smashed screen that otherwise would have been recycled at the local council run recycling centre. Sent in prepaid envelope and cash in account 2 work days later.

Over promise under deliver
I submitted the online form and answered honestly regarding the condition of 3 phones and paid £9 to send them recorded delivery.
I get an email back to say the cheapest one was fine, the other two had been tested and I was being offered less than half the value they’d originally quoted.
When I rejected this they ‘kindly’ re-tested the phones and as if by magic the price for the two phones was increased.
I stood by the condition of the phones as I had originally stated therefore rejected the offer.
Now I have to pay £10 to get them sent back to me!
