I have bought 2 chi flat irons from this company. I bought one in 200 it lasted me up till 2010. The retail price everywhere was $120 but I bought from Misikko for $80. In 2010 when I ordered my neighbor who rented the upstairs apartment and I rented the 1st floor stole my iron when UPS delivered it. They would not admit to it and I couldn't prove it. I called Misikko so upset and they sent out a new one free of charge and even sent it through FedEx overnight. I just now went on Misikko for a new flat iron and blow dryer and I'm reading all these things they have done to scam their customers which has ultimately put them out of business. I have to say I'm very surprised and also upset. I got great product and great customer service. Can anyone recommend a website I could use where their beauty appliances are as cheap as Misikko was??

Purchased a product on July 11 and received email that my order was processing, credit card charged.
July 16, no word that the product was shipped so I called the company.
Product is "back ordered" and they want to "upgrade me for free" to a straightener I've never heard of. They claim they called and left a voicemail for me on the 11th... I NEVER received a voicemail or call from them (trust me, I would have called back had there been a voicemail since $105 was already charged to my credit card).

I have bought two hanas and Corioliss curling iron from them. The hana i bought 7 years ago and had to buy another 3 years ago. The curling iron is still going. Love them both. Love the way they set up your box. It smells great and looks beautiful. I recommend Misikko to everyone.

I brought this blow dryer for over $200 and now the dryer does work. Could anyone give me a number to contact this company so I can return or get my money back. I am very unhappy.

I just brought a flat iron and it hasn't been a year and they have gone out and I can't seem to contact to get product replaced or anything. I referred people was so pleased as too how fast I got the product and now I have nothing

First, they told me the product I wanted was out of stock a week after I placed the order. They said it would be in stock soon. Over two months after I received this message, I reached out to ask them what was going on. They said they didn't have the product but could upgrade me for free to a different product. I agreed on the basis that I would be able to return it for a full refund if I didn't like it.

I received the product but it wasn't what I was looking for. I returned it within 30 days, and a month later they issued me an email saying they had credited it to my account. Nothing had shown up on my credit card statement. Unfortunately, I didn't reach out to my credit card company until it was too late and they weren't able to help me.

They don't have a phone number listed on their site and there is a number on Google but no one ever picks up. (My credit card company tried to reach out - but they are unable to e-mail) They are shady, liars, and I hope anyone who sees this review will not buy anything from this website.

Do not order from this company, they have a defective products and will not replace them when they go bad.

Misikko.com has the best customer service I've ever seen. I ordered from them years ago and received a handwritten thank you note and free hair products. I loved my Hana flat iron until I broke it (improperly wrapping the cord around the flat iron too many times). I came back to Misikko for a new Hana (I have owned Chi's in the past and there is no comparison). I received it the next day. Not only did they send it overnight, they included a bunch of free gifts, a case, travel case, heat proof mat, makeup and more. I love my new Hana just as much as the old one and would recommend Hana and Misikko to anyone looking for new professional hair styling tools.

Buyer beware! Misikko is NOT an authorized CROC retailer, which means you have NO recourse with the manufacturer if your CROC/Turbo Ion product breaks or is defective in some way. I'm still not 100% convinced that this website is selling authentic products. Someone needs to shut this shady website down. Do not buy from this website - the frustration isn't worth the few dollars you will save on the initial purchase price.

Putting Misikko Beauty on blast, as they left me no other choice.....some information, This was the third, yes third "hair dryer" I received, in less than a year because the others "malfunctioned", yet they claim to be the "top-rated" hair dryer. I use this "hair dryer" so infrequently, I could probably count the number of times I have used it on both hands....now, I did notice random bits of plastic lying around, but it wasn't until this past Sunday evening that I finally discovered the source.....yep, you see it there, (I provided pictures) the "outlet-box" encasing the plug has begun to fall apart....I paid a small fortune for this dryer as I believed the claims of it being "the #1 voted Hair dryer".....I have NEVER, in all my previous years had a hair dryer give me so many problems, let alone one that costs in the upwards of $200+. I am putting this company on blast because despite my explanations of my infrequent use, the person, "Courtney" informed me that she was sorry but my warranty expired in September, and there was absolutely nothing she could do at this time, but if I liked to purchase another....are you serious.....that is the epitome of crazy if I purchased anything else from this company.....Buyer be ware of Miskko....

I purchased a croc iron that died in 6 months, they told me that they never received my iron for an exchange. Proved it with my fed ex paperwork. They finally made good and sent another iron that also died 5 months later. They said i was passed the year warranty so i had to purchase another iron. I ordered the same iron and they did a bait and switch and sent me a less then qualified professional iron. I called the same day and made arrangements to return it. They said to put it in the mail. I went the extra mile and fed ex it back. They told me they received my box but no iron.(really?) fed ex confirmed the iron was in the box and the box weighed the same as when it was shipped to me. If you purchase from this company you are just waiting to get ripped off. I called croc and they told me that they are not authorized to sell croc irons so the merchandise was either refurbished or a fraud. I will never purchase from this company again! I make sure i tell everyone who sits in my chair how shadey this company is and how the merchandise is not authentic.

I distrust this company so much i canceled my credit card i used for this purchase because i dont trust the fact that they had my account information. They will never get any business from anyone i speak to who always ask me about my tools.

This place sucks! Do your homework and purchase with another company!!!!!

I ordered the ultimate package Hana Elite iron and travel iron which costed me $259.99. The items that is advertised on the website was not what I received when I received the package. Several items was missing. When I called customer service I was told the usual thar the manufacturer discontinued those items I did not or was I offered another product to replace those items. I was told that the were free anyway. I was told that the web-site was just not updated. i purchased this item based on the . and to date the same is still on the website. So i was misinformed once again. So much for customer satisfaction! Nothing is free when you pay $259.00 for a product. The silicone heat proof mat & heat resistant storage bag was also missing. The first representative was supposed to send me at least that item that was missing from my box. I called back when I did not receive it to be told it was never order. The second representative ordered it but when I received it I only received the storage bag. So I had to go purchase the silicone heat proof mat from a local store. I am very disappointed with the lack of professionalism and customer satisfaction with Misikko.

I purchased a flat iron from this company and the delivery only took three days and it came with extra goodies...the packaging was beautiful as well. I will be ordering from them from now on

This company is a total scam. The prices are too good to be true, I should have known. They claim they sell high end hair appliances but as suggested by other reviewers...nearly always you get an email that states your item is out of stock and they can offer you a 'comparable' item at the same cost. I would venture to say that they never carried T3, CHI or others in the first place. They aren't authorized sellers of the item in the first place. Other reviewers suggest they have received counterfeit items. Save yourself the hassle and buy on amazon or beauty.com. Their customer service email is a gmail address - really, you don't use your own domain? unreal. STAY AWAY from this site at all costs. They clearly have paid a team of 'customers' to claim it is legit in other reviews. DON'T FALL FOR IT.

I've been trying to find a MaxiGlide XP for my wife for years. A couple of years ago I thought I found it at this site, place my order, and then I receive an e-mail saying that it's not being manufactured at the moment, and that they cannot fulfill my order. I ended up buying one on ebay. It recently broke, and I was trying to get another in time for Christmas. Google searches brought Misikko up again, and once again (years later) it seems like they have it available. Guess what? Shortly after the order confirmation e-mail, I receive another e-mail stating that it's not available from the manufacturer, but that they can offer me a similar product (Belson Pro Ceramic 1.5"), and they could add another model (Hana Pro 1") at no additional cost. Each one was listed on their site for $129.00. I could only find the Hana product offered through them, but the Belson was listed at Overstock and Amazon for $29.00, but both sites were supposedly out of stock. They will have products available for $154.99 (Corioliss Wet to Dry Flat Iron 1 3/4"), and you can find them elsewhere for $79.99.

To add more to the shady perception is that every product that they offer has tons of "reviews," and each and every review is 5-stars. Every last one of them. Really? That just doesn't seem to represent the real world to me. My trust level is very, VERY low with this site/company.

I purchased a Babyliss flat iron set (2 irons, a U and a C) for my wife. The next day I got a message requesting that I contact Misikko. I was informed that the items were out of stock and was offered a different item. I declined saying I would wait until the items were restocked. I was told it could be several weeks and again offerred another "similar" item. I again declined. I contacted Misikko again two weeks later and was told they were looking for the items but could not find them at a low enough price. I told the rep that I wasn't surprised as their price for two irons was very low, which is why I purchased them. I was told they had to make a profit or they wouldn't be able to fulfill my order. I told them I would continue to wait. I contacted them again and by this time it had been 5 weeks since my order. I was told the items were not going to be restocked. I informed them that the same ad and the same irons were still posted on their web site. I was told they were working on that. I cancelled my order. In my opinon, the company is a scam.

My husband bought me a Chi from Misikko as a Christmas gift. By the second use the red material started peeling up. I wrote to Misikko who blamed Farouk (Chi), saying their products were being made poorly. I wrote to Farouk to ask if they were having an issue with quality. The company wrote back stating that their product CANNOT legally be sold on-line! Misikko and that NO they did not have quality issues. They went on to say that the reason they do not allow on-line stores to sell their stuff is do to the inability to keep out counterfeit items. The Chi flat iron from Misikko appeared different from the one i had already, leading me to believe that what i got was a knock off.

They sold me a illegitimate CHI curling iron. I had my concerns so I looked it up online and my suspicion was proven right. I was of course thinking about my money and hoping they would take it back. I immediately reported the knockoff to Farouk and sent pictures. I'm actually upset about this. I am still waiting on my refund :(

Do not buy Moroccanoil on this site!!

“Please take note the products you purchased may be counterfeited, now that we do not supply this web-site or any other, that is why it is not doing any results in your hair, also the matrix code has been cut, it means that they use same bottles, but the product indeed is not the same.

After reading about it on the internet, I realized that the product could be false.
Until then I thought I had not done well with the product, and the same is stored without being used here.
The Moroccanoil confirmed that the product is not authentic.

Where should have a stamp of authenticity has no more! It was removed!
As far as I talked with the support of Moroccanoil this seal can not be removed.

And the site does not want my money back!
Absurd!

I bought a Chi Turbo flat iron. In less than a year it wouldn't turn on. At first if I jiggled it around it would turn on, but now, nothing. I only use it about once a month, so it isn't from misuse or too much use. I bought one for my daughter 8 years ago, and it still works perfectly! Not from Misikko thought. I think this one is fake. My daughter noticed the difference in them. Mine already had the writing coming off. I didn't contact them as it was out of warranty and couldn't find my receipt.
