Swift, reliable service at a great price A++++
Ordered my Rab guide jacket on the Saturday and it arrived on the Tuesday which surprised me as I expected it to be Wednesday or Thursday!!
The Jacket itself was priced at least £10 lower than rival companies plus it cost £10 for Open Air to post to me (free postage to me) so effectively I had £20 off compared to other companies. All in all extremely pleased and I will use Open Air again.

I was very pleased to come across this website & discover a hard to find product I had been looking for at a good price. I placed the order late on Friday evening and I was advised by email on Saturday morning that my product had been dispatched. Great prices on all the items for sale (incidentally, this was the reason I found the shop: the website turned out to have the cheapest price for the Osprey sack I was looking for), and excellent customer care: I'm from Italy, and they replied immediately when asked about the shipping to my country (shipping costs to Italy were cheap too). The rucksack itself arrived very quickly (3 days!) and well-packed.
What more can I say? A perfect seller, that I would recommend to anyone.

Icebreaker Everyday Crews are the Dog's B's
I recently bought 2 Icebreaker Everyday short sleeved crews and to say that I am delighted with them would be a huge understatement. They are 200g of merino wool and are incredibly comfortable to the point that I hardly know I am wearing them. I have worn one of them on at least 6 occasions and it is as fresh as when it came out of the box which is unheard of for me because I perspire a lot. I also ordered a Tech T light but returned it in favour of another Everyday because it is slightly thicker, fitted better and was a tenner cheaper. They are expensive but I suppose you get what you pay for and I don't think I will be going back to cotton any time soon. The service from Open Air was exceptional and I would recommend them to anyone. I'll be buying more pretty soon.

I'm thrilled I've found Open Air - so many outdoors companies are staffed by people who don't use the products and haven't got a clue about how they work (I'm looking at you Blacks). Open Air is staffed by outdoor enthusiasts who have used most of the gear they stock and have an informed opinion on it. They also have a good range of Icebreaker gear, hard to get a large stock range in the UK. We've bought clothing, a pack, petzl lamps, hiking boots and other bits and pieces from them and all products have performed brilliantly. The online delivery is very quick and reliable as well. Great store!

Ordered a North Face jacket on Monday and it was delivered on Wednesday. Price was good and free delivery. I'm lucky as I live close enough to Cambridge to be a frequent visitor to their shop and have always got excellent service from there too.
