I called initallially to get some techinical advice and the person i spoke to was extremely well informed. I nearly brought the worng item.. I ordered the parts (new Laptop and camera) on their website and it turned up next day.. Only problem was I wasnt at home to receive it...
The item arrived as described worked for a while and then stopped, the customer service was friendly and helpful although variable in responding depending on who you spoke to. However, having spoken to the Managing Director, purely by chance, I then received a quite excellent service, with personal intervention from him. I can only say that while some staff may let this company down their MD and most of their staff deserve high praise.
Probably the worst online retailer I've ever used. After receiving a faulty product they insisted I refer the problem to the manufacturer rather than issuing a replacement which was contravening UK law and their own terms and conditions. Their one customer services rep was continually busy and never returned any calls. When I did speak to someone they claimed the following:
"If I bought a kettle from Argos and it didn't work I wouldn't take it back to Argos, I'd phone Russel Brand"
Not sure what a disgraced radio presenter has got to do with it but I probably would have got more joy from him than I did from probsolvexpress.
Avoid at all costs.
They were very good with delivery and prices are very reasonable. Would recommend to others.
