I'm a new business, so moneys tight. Went to Quote Bean with a view to getting a website.I Received a couple of calls from companies. The company I decided to go with (cheekysmiledesigns) talked the talk, so I paid them 50% and waited for a "mock up " of my new website which they said would be about 3 days. Nearly 3 weeks later and despite a lot of promises, excuses, e-mails and unanswered phone calls , still no website. I turned to Quote Bean to see if they could help (they ignored two of my messages left on their site). They promised to get in touch with the company and call me back. They have not. I'm disappointed, upset and out of pocket. Beware of these two companys.

Only a a few munities to set up I received the cost effected and relevant quotes required .A exultant services

I was put in touch with two web designer companies both were good I chose one and am now having my web page built.

Unfortunately since I have paid a deposit of close to £300 the company has cut off all communication wit me but Quote Bean are looking into it for me which is great as it's a long way to Shropshire from my house

Quote Bean Chased the company up who told them they would call and sort out the problem Quote Bean also said they would call me back to see if the problem was sorted out I've not heard from either company.

it's now the middle of June I'm still waiting for something to happen only I've paid £1000 plus now and not sure I'm going to see a website or my money something's not right here

Must say I wasn't sure about using this service
But in the end I was massively surprised
You gave my needs/details to 4 very good providers one of which I'm using to design my new website
You made everything easy for me

Different proposals were reviewed and the best professional provider that met our needs was selected. It was nice to have such options.

Had call and email within half hour and after explaining what i was after they went away to come back with proposals and ideas. Not signed up yet but hope to have something sorted soon.

Very good web site due to the fact you dont have to call various designers, they tailor exactly for what your looking for !!!

Two weeks ago I asked for a quote on a market reseach project.
So far I've only had 1 answer.
And unfortunately that was from a provider that hadn't got a clue what I was asking for.
Are now seeking other timesaving methods to get quotes from the market.

PS! There should be an option to give "no star" rating.

No use whatsoever.

I have been very impressed by the prompt and professional manner in which Quotebean assisted us in getting quotations for our new website. I would have no hesitation in recommending and using Quotebean in the future

Only 3 web designers contacted me, all wanted me to agree to their quote over the 'phone and pay in full up front without me viewing their work. Only 2 sent details of their work and were very pushy when I wanted time to think about it. I won't go down that route again!!

Did exactly what I wanted it to do. I was put in touch with suitable companies eager to do business. All in all an excellent service.

Good points:

- easy to use website
- friendly, helpful staff on phone call

Bad points:

- website promises 7 quotes, yet on the phone I was told I would be referred to only 3...
- of the 3, only one bothered to contact me, and even he didn't send the follow up email that was promised.
- I was unable to chase / follow up as I wasn't given any details.

So, it turned out to be a waste of time....

Got plenty of quotes and was able to discuss my needs so that I could come up with exactly my requirements at a reasonable cost

I approached QuoteBean with an urgent requirement, the response was prompt, professional and ideal for what I needed.

I didn't get as many quotes back as advertised - I've had three in the last nine days.

I needed to contact 3 companies to assist us with some marketing activity. QuoteBean came up on Google in relation to the key words I typed. Although initially hesitant and dubious about using a 'middleman' I used QuoteBeans free service to help me find 3 x specialised companies. I am happy to report all 3 companies have been very responsive and professional and we will award one of them a contract in September. On the strength of my experiece I will definately use QuoteBean again to help me source other services.

We asked for telemarketers who would work on a pay per appointment basis. This key requirement was not passed to the telemarketers who contacted us all of which, except 1, would only work on an hourly rate basis.
