I bought VIP concert tickets and paid a lot more money than the standard ticket and got absolutely no benefit from the additional cost. There was no communication about the benefit, there was only general standing admission, which was a total ripoff.

Never received tickets purchased

I purchased tickets for my favorite band and never received my tickets. I emailed the company requesting my tickets and never received them. I emailed the company requesting my money back and never received anything from Ticketweb. This company is a complete scam.

TicketWeb is Completely Useless.

TicketWeb is useless for me. It's as if I'm banned from buying tickets through the because I've never been able to do it. It just declines my transaction, then I see the transaction pop up in my credit card app, and then the transaction is reversed. If I keep trying with the same card it will just keep happening. I've followed their advice (try incognito mode and all this other stuff) but it doesn't work. Different cards, different browsers, made sure my VPN is off. At this point if I see tickets are through TicketWeb I just have my husband purchase because there's no point. This has been an issue for me for years, but just leaving the review today.

Terrible site

Terrible site. Kept declining two cards for "wrong information" despite it being clearly the correct information and my bank even alerted my that a purchase was being approved yet ticket web declined it on their side. Waste of time!

Unable to buy tickets

Unable to buy tickets. Keeps hitting me with an unexpected error. No explanation other then ‘different billing adress/security risk/exceeding ticket limit’. I’m gonna miss seeing my idol now…

Terrible

Terrible. Won't let me buy tickets. It just keeps saying "unexpected error". I have tried signing out and back in, changed email addresses, used a private browser, laptop and phone, and nothing worked. I just want goddamn tickets.

Deceptive Refund Rules

My husband purchased 2 tickets for a local event in Michigan & died quite suddenly. I contacted TicketWeb for a refund because their policy clearly states that refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis. Not only did they refuse to issue a refund, but their customer service team made us jump through hoops to provide information, dragging the process out for months beyond the event date. One star is too positive a rating for their clearly fraudulent actions.

Don’t do business with this company…

Don’t do business with this company because they have very limited support hours. I ran into a problem a couple hours before the concert began and they were not available to help with a simple fix as a result, I never was able to go to the concert and I’m out $100. The only consolation to me is that the band at least got some more money. when I purchased tickets from ticket web signing in through Facebook, they connected to a tertiary email that was listed on my Facebook account. It was an old college email that I never use anymore. My college shut down access to those emails earlier this year, so I could not get my tickets from ticketweb on the day of the showbecause they mailed them to that old college address.
They didn’t have anyone answering the phone, nor chat or emails from me asking to forward the tickets to a different address. By the time the tickets got to me, it was two days after the show. I also contacted Ticketmaster since ticketweb is a subsidiary, but the Ticketmaster support people couldn’t help either. Basically, if you’re paying a good amount of your hard earned money for a concert do not work with a platform that doesn’t have a correctly functioning sign in mechanism and has limited support like this.

Fraud. . . .

I bought tickets to a show and when I got there none of the facilities that were meant to be there were available. I asked for a refund, and they refused. Then miraculously it was refunded a few days later. Only for now 2 months later they have debited the cash from my credit card again. I tried to call and apparently phone support is unavailable! Its giving fraud vibes!

This company is SO bad - BEWARE!!!!

This company is SO bad. Exactly the reason why Congress looks into Ticketmaster's (TicketWeb's parent) "unfair or deceptive practices." This company is TERRIBLE. I bought $65 tickets - fee is $16.18! $16.18 for what? If the event is cancelled, you won't get those fees back. You MIGHT not get your ticket price back. Also, according to their terms, if you attempt a credit card "chargeback" for ANY reason - they can ban you from life for ever using their services ever again. If you read through their so called "Purchase Policy" - you won't ever buy tickets from them ever again. I can ASSURE you, I will pass in the future on any artist who uses these clowns. Go to the purchase policy on their website!!! Read it carefully. Unbelievable.

Never again

Purchased tickets in December for a show in July and received a confirmation. In early July I contacted them and was advised that the tickets weren't being released until July 20 in case they were "oversold." Began emailing again on July 21, finally got tickets two hours before I have to leave with a note that they were being sent again. (I ran a search on spam and trash--they weren't there. They have no phone service, only a message that they no longer have phone service. When sent an email you get an automated response that they will respond but there may be delays. And I have to wonder what would have happened if they "oversold."
