Ukbattery 

Ordered a battery for a Lenovo 3000 N100 more than 2 months ago. I specifically chose them for two reasons: I wanted an oversized battery and... I wanted it quick. As they had the item ‘in stock’ and called themselves ‘ukbattery.org.uk’, I thought they ticked both boxes - how luckier can you get, right? Wrong... I should have followed my principle of carrying out some due diligence, as I usually do when dealing with an e-company for the first time.
After a couple of weeks of waiting I contacted them. I have to admit that they were prompt in their response, although not necessarily helpful. They had juts shipped the battery out, 12 days after I ordered it! In response to my further inquiry re why that happened, they simply stated that they didn’t have the battery in stock when I ordered it... Hmm, ok... A little setback, I thought, I should have the battery in the next week or so. Wrong again - the battery seems to still be ‘in transit’ 6 weeks later.
They still seem to be very prompt with their answers every time, although as helpless as ever: ‘please wait for longer’...
I still cannot get over the nerve of these guys...

I recently ordered a replacement battery for a Dell laptop from this company. It arrived by courier within days (from the UK) and I couldn't be happier. Don't be put off by not getting a standard order acknowledgement (although it would have helped ease my anxiety) - it doesn't mean your order won't arrive promptly.

Order a new laptop battery from ukbattery , which took ages to arrive , then only lasted 4 months without holding any charge whatsoever , so complained and to be fair received a response within 24hrs if only the delivery was as good! Their response requested US$19.95 for replacement with no need to return defective battery. Hurrah for that. Sent 2nd email, but surprise, surprise No Reply as yet. Here's hoping.

I ordered battery and charger then came across reviews so was apprehensive however package arrived quite quickly and in perfect condition communication was good well done ukbattery would definitely use again

Despite numerous mail. No solution. Order placed in January but to date have not receive my order or refund despite canceling my order due to non delivery. Excuse was "transit issue". Would have reached me even by snail mail !!!.

Silly me. I should have visited Trustpilot or any other of half a dozen similar sites, or the ASA who upheld the complaint this company was passing itself off as a UK company before buying a replacement laptop battery from them. The irony about UKBattery is they are neither in the UK nor are they very good at selling batteries. Every forum slates them for exactly the same things :
Poor customer service, no communication, late or non-arrival of orders or inferior product when some lucky soul actually gets their order. I've sent two emails requesting some indication of a delivery date with no reply. I've now started a PayPal complaint against the company and requested a full refund under the Distance Selling Act. If a company can't treat you like a customer, then don't treat the business as if it's a business. Lesson learnt. Do more homework on an unknown company before I make a purchase.

Ordered a camera battery from this company 16 June 2015, when it had not arrived in early July I emailed them. Reply stated they had been out of stock and it had not been dispatched till 26th June. Next email'd in August and was advised it could have been transport delay. Next reply to September email asked to confirm my address which I did and they said they would track the package. Now October and still not arrived. Assume they have run out of excuses so are no longer replying to email.
Should have been suspicious of this company when it claimed to have ISO9000, surely this is a British accreditation as it replaced the BSI kitemark
DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY IT IS A SCAM
After they didn't reply to email, I sent one last one suggesting they were thieves. This time I got a reply saying my package had been lost in transit and did I still want it. I said I did and finally got the battery on 26th October. Just over four months but better late than never.

I ordered two batteries for my camera three weeks before l went on holiday. Two weeks later, nothing. Emailed them, response was to wait for shipping, although told me it takes 10-12 days. No batteries arrived for my holiday. 6 weeks later, nothing, l have emailed 3 times asking when they will arrive, always 'shipping' keep us updated'. It's been two months now, l have emailed twice since asking for a refund or replacement. No answer now. Do not use!!!! You will waste yr money as l have done. Total con. I don't believe any of the reviews on their website are from real customers.

Since my PayPal receipt for a Panasonic compatible battery on 11 Aug 2015 I have received NO communication and no tracking to follow.KevM

I ordered and paid through Penpal for a battery and charger for my camera nearly a month ago and still hasnt arrived .Ive written to the company and havnt had a reply so starting to think this is a scam company.
How do you let penpal know??

No message to say they'd received my order despite paying by PayPal and getting an email receipt from them. Still waiting after 2 weeks with no word and little expectation of ever receiving the battery. I'll avoid this company in future.

I also didn't check this company out before placing my order for a camcorder battery.
No Customer Services Contact phone number!!
Company based in Hong Kong or China...who knows!!
Pay Pal dispute ongoing at the moment.
3 different receiver names listed on the same order. i.e PayPal, Payee and the company
Tracking number given is invalid.
Beware.. avoid the stress. Keep forums like this going check before you buy.

I oredered soem Sony comaptible batteries from this company last year. They arrived within a few days and worked fine. 3 weeks ago I oredered some Canon compatible batteries from them but they still haven't arrrived. They might be delayed due to the European airport disruption but I can't check because the e-mail address and ID tracking code given are both invalid. The name of the company is very misleading - it implies they are UK based but they are in Hong Kong. Be wary !
