No item. No refund.

I tried to order a scanner last year and never received it. I emailed them and they told me it wasn't in stock despite being listed on their website. I asked for a refund and they assured me I would receive one in 2-3 weeks! I waited 2-3 weeks and still no refund. I called them again and was a assured again. Still no refund...

I would have done a charge back only i used a BACs transfer to pay and this is non-reversible. I have basically given up now and I'm £200 out of pocket. I wonder how these people can do business like this!

please stay away, i bought it to be delivered in two weeks nothing showed up i cancelled a month later its been its been 5 months yet to get my money

Incompetance

I had to call to understand the items WERE NOT IN STOCK!! that they were to be delivered next week, from 3rd Party who "had them in stock" BUT WITH NO GUARANTEE they wouldbe despatched today! Utter madness, purchase cancelled NEVER AGAIN wasted 1 week for System upgrade.

Very poor business to deal with

I paid up-front to take advantage of the discount. Goods were received without problem. However, they were very difficult to speak to and take days to reply to emails. when I complained they eventually replied saying that they had increased staff recently. The next time I wanted something from them I inquired by email because they didn't answer the phone. I never got a reply from them. They lost that order as I went elsewhere.

Online shopping as it should be

Clearly most of the reviews that are so low are bogus. I ordered an imac and tp-link camera and it arrived when it said it would at a price no one beat. They've been around for years and not been shut down so if they were dodgy they would of been. They only charged my card when my order was sent so the other reviews are clearly false. Excellent in my book.

WARNING! WARNING!

Back in November last year, I gave them my hard earned money in anticipation of receiving a PC monitor. That was the start of many emails, telephone calls ( generally ignored ) and a great deal of worry that I would lose my money.
Soon after ordering, I came across dreadful reviews of this company ( http://www.reviewcentre.com/reviews260382.html ) and cancelled my order.
It was not until Trading Standards in Birmingham visited them on my behalf that I was reimbursed.
Weareelectricals survive because the law allows them to keep your money for 30 days without supplying the goods you paid for. Even after that period, they know that the chances of them being taken to court are minimal, so they take every advantage.

I am very, very angry with WAE. They have taken my money and have not replied to my emails. Avoid them at all costs!

Apalling service, unacceptable practices

Item was not listed as out of stock when ordered and I was disappointed to find from the order status page that it was not available. It became clear after checking with other retailers that none of them had any stock left and that a consignment was not due in the uk for some time. Cancelled order and requested refund using procedures on the website, but waited 3 weeks for an acknowledgement. Requested refund again and finally notified of a refund to the credit card by their electronic merchant service 5 weeks later. An appallingly inefficient service with hopeless communication. They should adopt the practice of not debiting the customers account until the goods are despatched - they had my cash for nearly two months. I took this up with Birmingham Trading Standards and clearly I'm not the first to do so. My recommendation - stay away from them.

1 star is far too good for them

I ordered a mobile phone from them, paid for it and received an email confirming my order. I received an email acknowledging m order and that its in progress. Not long after that, am told am being refunded. No goods & up til now, no refund. That was well over a month ago. No number to contact them & so was left to email them. Many emails & no answers. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM EVER! Terrible company, terrible service.

Take your money & dont deliver the goods. no refunds either

The goods never arrived and a phone call to the company confirmed they didnt have the goods in stock anyway. They do not keep you informed and insist they have 30 days to pay the refund. They seem like a couple of teenagers who haven't a clue how to run a business. Look at the Web, its littered with peoples bad experiences with this company. Birmungham Trading Standards are building a case against them & I see online that the police in the South East are looking at the issue of fraud.
There are plenty of very good companies out there. Use a name you know! Keep away from these scam artists.

Do not buy

We ordered a playmobile set for Christmas on 1st Dec which there website claimed was in stock. After two weeks we called the company and they said it was in Germany and would arrive on 15 Dec which is days ago.

On another site I ordered 3 products from Germany and they all arrived within 4 days. So clearly this is nothing to do with postage time.

We called the company and a rude person answered and said to be patient. Clearly the order will never arrive and I will complain to the OFT so that they can eventually shut these cowboys down. I'll get my money back from VISA.

Please do not fall into the same trap. This company is a scam and there are plently of highly rated companies that you can buy from instead.Good luck.

SCAM

This isn't a company. It's a scam operation. They take payment, then say they have no stock and NEVER deliver. Took me months to get money back, via my banks Chargeback process. Given no end of lies from this "company". It's just a matter of time before they are shut down by the authorities.

DO NOT PAY BY BANK TRANSFER!!!! You won't be able to use chargeback then and have no guarantee (eg, you've lost your money).

Steer clear

Steer clear. I ordered a mobile phone from this company. Two days later, they told me they could not supply it, so on 25 October I asked them to refund the money. I got no reply to my emails and they did not answer the phone so I feared I was the victim of a scam. They finally emailed me on 9 November, after I sent them a registered letter and involved Trading Standards. I got the money back (authorised 18 November, received in my account 23 November). I do not know whether this would have happened had I not sent the formal letter and involved Trading Standards. (They quote a 30 day policy on refunds if the customer cancels and I did get my money within this deadline.) However, the lack of any response to my emails and their failure to answer the phone does not inspire confidence.

No issues whatsover

Ordered a NAS and QNAP server and it turned up next day at 8.45am. Customer services were exemplery and got free shipping. All good!

awful, do not buy from them

My worst online shopping experince,
they,ll take your money for products advertised as in stock , that are actually out of stock, then nothing , no delivery, no attempt to make conact.
When you are actually able to get through to their permanantely busy customer service line( i was on hold every time for up to 40 minutes) you,ll just be lied to,and they ignore emails ,
i,m currently having to claim my money back through my bank,
i have reported them to birmigham city trading standards

Customer Service???????

This company make big claims about delivery times and customer service, none of which are true in my experience. Wait weeks for delivery, no response to emails and waiting 15 - 20 mins for Customer Services on the phone before giving up. So much for 98% delivery within 48 hours and 99% customer services calls within 30 seconds! Best to avoid this company from my experience.

Really bad experience

Had to wait a lot longer than promised. No response to emails. Phone calls were either "we don't know when it's arriving" or, frankly, lies "we'll call you back within the hour...".

Strongly suggest you avoid this company - they're a bunch of amateur lightweights with no understanding of customer service. I so wish I had gone with anyone else.

Bad Experience!

Had to wait a week longer than I was supposed to. Awful customer service. Zero response to phone call and emails. Product eventually came after I went to the actual office.
Badly packaged. No time or even day given for delivery.
Would not recommend.
