No refund for defective Valentino loafers
I have been a YOOX customer for 5 years and have always trusted the platform, even recomended it to friends and family. This why this situation has been particularly disappointing.
I purchased a pair of Valentino loafers in May. I kept them stored for some time and only recently started wearing them. In total, I wear the shoes no more than five times and the soles have deteriorated significantly. I contacted YOOX and provided pictures clearly showing the issue.
YOOX initially offered me a 10% refund as a goodwill gesture, which I did not consider an appropriate solution given the condition of the shoes. When I requested a full refund and offered to return the shoes for inspection, YOOX refused, stating that the damage was caused by use rather than a manufacturing defect.
What I find most disappointing is that no proper inspection of the shoes was carried out, yet YOOX concluded that the damage was due to use. Given the quality and price of Valentino shoes, I expected much better quality and customer service.
After five years as a YOOX customer, I expected a fairer resolution. Unfortunately, this experience has seriously affected my confidence in purchasing from YOOX again.

Great experience. Had been looking for certain trainers and found them on YOOX. Had not heard of YOOX before so was a bit dubious. Easy to register snd order and item arrived extremely quickly. Would definitely recommend.
