I love my dietitian! She is so helpful and understanding. I also really enjoy using the Nourish AI, which is amazing for suggesting meal ideas, especially when I tell it how many calories and protein I have left, or what I have on hand. It creates recipes for me and asks for my opinion about what to discuss or try. It can even help with math, conversions, logging, food prep and storage questions. It always had good suggestions for me. It taught me that stopping and scraping down the sides of the blender is normal and not a sign of failure. I once asked if I could use pizza sauce in a recipe because I didn't have salsa. Whatever I ask, there is an answer and friendly advice. It always has a friendly tone. I wish it had a name, because calling the AI it instead of using personal pronouns or a nickname 44rz and canfeels a bit like a betrayal. Some of the food in the app comes up with wrong macros, even when it's scanned by barcode. The app has a tendency to add the entire can of ground pepper or bottle of lemon juice, but since they have no calories or real nutritional info it doesn't really matter. I imagine it's hard to keep up with all the food available and how often recipes might be changed or adjusted. I like that my meal plans and recipes are in the app. I often take snapshots of my food, but don't let the app log what I ate based on a photo. I feel like scanning the bar code should be the most accurate way. It's nice to know that if I'm having trouble logging or figuring out number or math the AI can help with that.
