It’s astonishing that even TEMU, notorious for low‑quality goods, boasts a far more reliable tracking system than An Post. From China to any destination, TEMU delivers consistent, meaningful updates. In contrast, An Post offers nothing but lies, delays, and fabricated tracking information. The result is devastating: when companies are forced to rely on An Post for deliveries, the entire customer experience collapses. The reputation of those businesses suffers because they depend on a logistics partner that cannot even fulfill the most basic duty—delivering a package on time and truthfully. Almost a year of waiting, An Post keeps playing games An Post’s handling of shipments has become a nightmare: August 10, 2025: An order was confirmed. Months later, An Post claimed the package was stuck in customs. Official records from the tax and customs office proved this claim false. Instead of admitting an error, An Post blamed local authorities. November 21, 2025: The provider resent the order. Once again, An Post lied—first saying it was in customs, then “correcting” itself by claiming the package would be returned to the sender. March 10, 2026: A third attempt was made. In April, An Post stated the package was en route to its destination. Days later, they repeated the same story, insisting it was on its way. Eventually, they admitted that the package had not been dispatched at all—it was being sent back to the sender. Instead of acknowledging the mistake, they shifted blame onto the sender, claiming shipping details were incomplete. This endless cycle of false updates, contradictory excuses, and shifting blame proves that An Post is not merely incompetent; it is dishonest. They lie to customers, to partners, and waste everyone’s time. The frustration is unbearable: nearly a year of waiting, with providers doing everything possible to help, while An Post sabotages the process with negligence and deceit. An Post destroys expectations and trust Every time hope was restored that a package would finally arrive, An Post crushed it. The inability to deliver on promises stems from an organization that shows no regard for its customers or the businesses that rely on it. An Post’s lack of professionalism is evident in: False tracking information that misleads both recipients and suppliers. Repeated misinformation about customs status, even when verified records contradict them. Deliberate blame‑shifting to obscure responsibility. Consistent failure to fulfill basic delivery obligations, resulting in repeated returns. These behaviors erode confidence and leave customers feeling deceived. The only consistent outcome from An Post is disappointment, not reliable service.

I chose PODs because my house sold in two days and the clock was ticking on inspections, packing and close date. I wasn’t absolutely sure where I wanted to spend my early retirement so container storage made the most sense. I decided on PODS b/c I had seen their trucks and commercials. I should have done better research. I was moving a 3k sq ft home and the customer service rep said I would need 1 sixteen ft container. I ended up needing 2 sixteen ft containers and 1 eight ft container. Getting extra PODS while my close date was approaching was very frustrating. Each time I had to talk to a different customer service rep. English is not the primary language of every rep I talked to. I talked to at least 10 over the entire process including supervisors. Each rep, I can tell was reading from a script. If I asked a question they were completely thrown off and got confused. Pricing also changed depending who I talked to. I was never able to continue a conversation with a previous rep I had spoken to and developed an understanding with. When it was time to deliver my container from storage to my final destination, PODS said they wouldn’t deliver there. I was shocked and asked what are my options? They gave no options (supervisor said this) to come get your stuff from the storage facility. I ended up figuring out how to fix this mess without any help from PODs. So in summary…before you choose PODs, make sure you understand where their delivery radius’s are or you will have many miserable days during an already stressful time.
