Having been a customer of IONOS for more than 15 years, I am continually impressed by the level of care, understanding, and customer service they provide.

They have supported me through the good times and helped me through the challenging ones, always demonstrating professionalism and a genuine willingness to help. Their team has been fantastic, consistently available at the end of the phone, ready to listen, understand the issue, and most importantly, work quickly to find a solution.

In a world where customer service often feels impersonal, IONOS stands out for its commitment to its customers. Nothing ever seems too much trouble, and their support team always goes the extra mile to get things sorted as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Thank you to everyone at IONOS for your continued support over the years. It's a big reason why I've remained a loyal customer for so long.

Title: IONOS failed to protect my website from malware – now demanding more money to fix the problem!

I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with IONOS and the way they have handled the security of my website.

I pay IONOS to host my website and expect them to provide a reliable and secure hosting service. Unfortunately, my website has apparently been compromised by malware and is now completely inaccessible. Instead of displaying my website, visitors are greeted with a blank page showing the message "NONAME9619".

What makes this situation even more unacceptable is that IONOS is still taking payments from my account while my website remains down and unusable.

To make matters worse, IONOS now expects me to pay additional money to have the malware removed.

I have a very simple question: What exactly am I paying IONOS for if they cannot adequately protect the websites hosted on their platform?

Customers pay hosting companies to provide a reliable hosting environment, appropriate security measures and support when something goes wrong. It is completely unreasonable, in my opinion, to leave a paying customer with a compromised and inaccessible website and then expect them to pay extra to resolve a security problem.

I understand that no hosting provider can guarantee 100% protection against cyberattacks. However, customers should reasonably expect proper security monitoring, timely support and a fair approach to resolving malware incidents.

IONOS has seriously let me down. My business website is offline, I am continuing to be charged, and I am being asked to pay even more money to get my website working again.

I want IONOS to:

Explain how my website became compromised.
Restore my website and remove the malware without additional charges, given the circumstances.
Explain why I am continuing to be charged while my website is unusable.
Review and resolve the situation fairly.

I would strongly advise anyone considering IONOS to carefully investigate what their hosting package actually covers in terms of malware protection and malware removal before signing up.

A hosting company should be part of the solution, not leave its paying customers feeling that they are being charged twice for a service they reasonably expected to be protected.

Solved my problem...

They make it harder to cancel services than they should do and have autorenewals built-in. They then send debt collectors after you for a £50 service that you no longer wanted. Would not recommend to anyone.

We got consultation for AI App & Website Builder, so we changed to this product but it was not working correct also old Website Builder, MyWebsite and so on get not cancelled? So we pay for products we dont need any longer???? but i hope this get sorted, thanks.

Stupid. You send me an email saying you will bill me for renewal of a domain that I don't own. I asked you to clarify. You said it's impossible because you are billing me from an account that I don't own. No solution is possible. Nonsense response.
