Scammers

Scammers! Told for an extra $5 I could get unlimited washes for the remainder of month. Not told that would sign me up for a membership! Now have been charged additional $49.97 and told by corporate that refunds are not option once we figured out their scam!!!

Clean Club Members Beware!!!

After noticing a 36% increase in my monthly premium, with no prior notice, I cancelled my membership 8 days before the subscription charge was to be processed.
The morning it would have normally processed, if I had not cancelled, the monthly charge was posted to my credit card. After two in person request to manage Michael asking for a credit, I was told to give it a few days, it'll come off. My credit card provider sees no evidence of that happening so the charge was disputed. Wanna bet I'll see the charge presented again next month?

Have been a member since you opened

Have been a member since you opened. I come 2-3x a week because I live on a dirt road. They have had issues with their system recognizing monthly members. For the past 11 times coming in, they have had to give me a new sticker. They finally gave me a different type of sticker that they assured me would work. I am here 3 days later and it didnt work. When the associate wanted to put the 12th sticker on my car I said I am going to cancel my membership after going thru today. She got her manager. She came up to my window and immediately had an agressive attitude and told me if I wanted to go thru they had to give me another sticker. I said I am not going to renew my membership and to let me thru as my membership was still valid. She laughed and said we are not allowed to comp a wash. I said I am not getting a free wash because im a paying member. She said I can wait to get another sticker or come back tomorrow laughed and walked away. I said she didnt have to speak to me disrespectfully. She began to argue and called me a stupid old b***h and she said "now im not letting you pass"...I said you never were, you told me to come back tomorrow. I said I wanted to speak to a manager, she said I am the manager. So now I am sitting here waiting on the police. This is nuts. Not one person I have encountered here has ever been this disrespectful. Police came and told me that they have the right to call names do whatever they want to and that I needed to leave the property so basically the manager called me a b**** I just have never ever experienced anything like this before in my life anyone reading this if you go to this place your sticker probably won't work and you will have to deal with a bunch of 18 year olds laughing and acting like they're doing you a favor it is unbelievable to me that for the last 11 times I've been there they've given me a new sticker to put on my window after giving me a Scraper on a new car and then tell me today that it hasn't worked for the past six weeks because my membership was registered to a car I owned previously yet last Wednesday they told me that I was good to go with their old system in fact all 11 times that I've gotten a new sticker they said they have fixed it fixed the issue do not go here you will be sorry and to the 18-year-old manager that spoke to me the way you did, you are a terrible human being. To the 3 other employees that ran out to watch because you saw the cop talk to me...giving me "the bird" and laughing, I dont know how these kids are allowed to behave this way and get away with it. I know for a fact if someone from corporate witnessed what happened to me today all of them would have been fired.

Cancelled - Request Refund

Cancelled! Not only did they raise rates over 20%, but when they eliminated my original plan (2 years old), they upgraded my account to higher level, without my knowledge, and have been charging me 69$ per month rather than 29$. AVOID!!!!

Appear to intentionally create roadblocks to cancel membership

The employees at the local Car Wash were very friendly, but noticed numerous areas were missed after completing the wash. I also noticed marks left in the finish, so I decided to cancel my membership. I tried for days on and off to cancel through the website. I got errors that I needed to complete the Captcha security even after it was completed. It showed that my account couldn't be found. I finally decided to call in to cancel. I tried a few days, but the call wouldn't go through. By selecting the phone number on the website to automatically call, I just received a message that this was an invalid number. I finally realized that the number automatically dialed is different from the number on the website. I finally reached customer service. I explained the difficulties of trying to cancel online and to call in. The representative, Reese, was unable to find my account using my phone number. This made sense why I couldn't cancel my membership online since the phone # was required. I started trying to cancel the membership before a new month started, and asked to reverse the charge just made. I was told that I should have gone to the Car Wash. I asked to speak to a Manager and she kept refusing and saying I should go the local car wash. After refusing to hang up, she transferred me to a manager, Angela. She expressed disbelief about the phone # and asked me to tell her the number dialed for the first calls. I shared the number and she told me that was for there car wash in GA. I'm in Ohio and offered the screenshot from my phone showing that a different phone number pops up when selecting the number on their website. She was very dismissive and used the same excuse that I should have gone in person. At this point, I will dispute the charge with the credit card company. It's a small amount of money, but since they appear to intentionally create roadblocks to cancel, I will dispute. A+ to local employees, but disastrous customer service experience with the corporate office.

Beware of Manager Brandon

Beware of Manager Brandon! Yesterday, as I was entering the car wash; one of the men broke my Infiniti emblem when scrubbing the front. One of the gentlemen, (who I later found out was the manager)first alerted me the emblem broke and he would try to repair. After 5 min and a long line, he brought the emblem to me stating it was broken before I got there. I knew then something was up; it wasn't broke before I arrived. When I got through the wash, I parked in a stall and quickly realized the emblem was in fact broke in a way that it is impossible for it to have been previously broken; both clips were gone. I then asked for a manager to make an incident report. The manager Brandon then walked up defensively, stating the company would not pay for it because it was previously broken. I advised him that the cameras will confirm all information and to please initiate an incident report. Brandon gave me the hardest time, rude and condescending. Even asked for my personal address!!! Then walked off without saying anything. I waited for at least 15 more minutes and he refused to give me a copy or an acknowledgement of the report. I had to record a video to ensure the validity of the claim. I am quite shocked that he was choose to represent Tidal Wave. Lacked empathy and general customer service. Will not be back to this location until this is rectified.

UPDATE!!!

Brandon called me back stating the video shows my emblem was upside down when entering the car wash, so they will not repair it.
Mr Brandon, regardless of the position of the emblem (which is hard to believe was upside down), it was connected to MY VEHICLE PRIOR TO COMING TO TIDAL WAVE.
I'm shocked that corporate would allow the same rude and condescending man to be the one to resolve this issue??? Come on folks.../.

I was unknowingly charged a recurring…

I was unknowingly charged a recurring monthly fee without being verbally advised of such fee and without written contract of such fee. I thought I bought one month of unlimited car washes; my records reflect that I NEVER used tidal wave car washes after the first one month. I simply was NEVER told of the recurring fee.

**Disappointing Experience with Damage…

**Disappointing Experience with Damage Claim**

I'm writing to share my recent experience at Tidalwave Auto Spa on Emily Drive in Clarksburg, WV. During a car wash visit, my wife's passenger side mirror was damaged and torn off during the wash cycle.

Initially, the management seemed helpful - they acknowledged they had video footage of the incident and instructed us to obtain two repair quotes, stating they would handle the damage. We promptly provided both quotes to their claims department as requested.

However, we were then informed rudely that they would not be covering the damages, despite their initial assurance and having video evidence of what occurred. This complete reversal in their position, combined with the unprofessional manner in which we were treated, has left us extremely disappointed.

We expected better customer service and accountability from a business when their equipment causes damage to customers' vehicles. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this location based on our experience.

VERY SCAMMY company in our opinion

VERY SCAMMY company in our opinion, takes card for membership, gives you monthly access supposedly, then week or so later, it doesn't work, wants you to verify payment at carwash and when you do, it bills again. Some guy in a 423 area code works for weeks trying to resolve and never does. They double bill - we have factual proof now TN Attorney General getting involved. Careful people!
