I am extremely disappointed with this…

I am extremely disappointed with this experience.

I have always used ABOUT YOU and trusted the brand, which is why I felt comfortable placing an order through ABOUT YOU Outlet. I never expected to have such a poor experience.

My order is marked as completed/delivered, but I have not received the parcel.

The tracking number provided however, when I try to track it, the carrier indicates that no parcel exists with this tracking number, which is very concerning.

I also have a flight coming up very soon, so I would really appreciate a prompt resolution to this issue.

Illegal data

Today I received an email from this company so called because I subscribed or ordered in the past. Which I did not.

That means this company gains info via an illegal way, for instance buying date via odido hack.

As About You is a German company, we're legally obliged to stick to the strict privacy laws in Germany. These are even more strict than the Dutch or EU ones. We would receive an enormous punishment if we would use data from other companies as this is strictly forbidden. We are handling our data very carefully. Very disappointed with About You

Very disappointed with About You. I returned my order over a month ago and still have not received my refund. I have called customer service four times, and each time I received the same automatic response saying they would investigate and get back to me. However, no one has provided an update or resolved the issue.

Waiting more than a month for a refund is unacceptable. The lack of communication and customer support has been extremely frustrating. Based on this experience, I will never buy from About You again and cannot recommend this company to others.

Disappointed

I ordered a jacket on aboutyou.nl
It took 4 days before they shipped my item. When i was at work i received a message from the carrier that my parcel was delivered. Unfortunately there was nothing in my mailbox or delivered at my neighbours. After this i contacted customer service using the chatbot and contactform. Unfortunately i didn't receive an answer from both.
Wish i had read the reviews about this webshop before. My ordernumber is aynl-545-384806921

I returned my order to ABOUT YOU and…

I returned my order to ABOUT YOU and provided valid proof of shipment and tracking information. Despite this, ABOUT YOU refused to issue a refund, claiming that the package weight upon arrival did not match the original shipment weight.
Any discrepancy that occurred during transport was clearly outside of my control. As a customer, I fulfilled my obligation by returning the item correctly.
I am very disappointed with the way this case has been handled. Customer service confirmed several times that they will not reconsider their decision, even if I provide a police report.
I kindly ask ABOUT YOU to contact me directly and review my case once again in order to resolve this matter fairly.

I am very disappointed with my experience with ABOUT YOU. You cannot leave reviews for products, which makes it difficult to share honest feedback. Delivery takes around two weeks, which is quite slow compared to expectations. The order status is also not updated in real time, so it is not reliable. In addition, the product quality is poor and does not match the descriptions or expectations. Overall, I do not recommend this service.

Avoid this company if you want to receive what you have paid for

Appalling company.
Their "shipment updates" are untruthful (to be polite), with the supposed delivery not moving in days.
If they are shipping from where they say they are, I could have driven to and from there ten times since I paid for the item.

secret charges and terrible customer service

I’m really disappointed with my experience. After placing what was already a very expensive order for a coat, I wasn’t provided with a tracking number, so I had no visibility on where my parcel was or when it would arrive. I had to chase this up myself, which is frustrating for such a high-value purchase.
When the item was finally marked as delivered, I then discovered it was actually being held in customs, and I’m now expected to pay an additional £55 to receive it. This charge was never made clear at the point of purchase, which feels misleading.
I reached out over a week ago to ask how this situation would be handled and to get some clarity, but I’ve yet to receive a helpful response. Overall, the lack of communication, unexpected costs, and poor customer support have made this a very disappointing experience. I would not feel confident ordering again. Don't order from here!!

Slow

On day of ordering the status changed into 'your parcel has been processed and will be handed over to our carrier shortly'. 4 days later, the status hasn't changed at all. Calling customer service is a nightmare - 13 minutes in queue and counting.

I’ve never come across such a terrible…

I’ve never come across such a terrible company. They promise to deliver something within a week. When you email them, you get a dismissive reply saying, “You need to be more patient.” A month on, it still hasn’t been delivered. You ask for a refund, and the reply is, “You need to be more patient.”

Return service does not work

I have received the shoes on 13/12/2025. As their return system didn't work, they asked me to send the shoes via normal post. I sent them than my receipt from 16/12/2025 and they paid me the shipping back. However these were the only money what they returned. To my bad surprise, i received the shoes back in mid of February. I was trying to complain as I was clearly in right. But they stopped answering. Stay far from this company. Highly disappointing experience.

order was cancelled

My order was cancelled and they didn’t give a reason in the app, I had to call them to get the actual reason (stock ran out). I was a little bummed that I wouldn’t receive my order but the refund did arrive within two days.

Worst platform to work with

Worst platform to work with! No issues are resolved in a timely manner. They promise you big things in the beginning but none of that ia followed through.
The platform does not even work properly. Products pending approval since 3 weeks. Products with stock show as no stock... Absolutely bad!!
