Great company, instructions on some products could be better
Fantastic showroom and good website, bought a lovely light from the website and it arrived quickly and well packaged. Only dropped a star as the instructions for installing the light were woefully inadequate and there was no further detail on their website. But we got it installed and it really is a beautiful light so worth the hassle.

I received a faulty Laura Ashley Lamp…
I received a faulty Laura Ashley Lamp costing over £100 . Although I ordered a number of other light fittings which I am pleased with. Three weeks later I am no nearer a resolution I have tried to send a video as requested now it states the video maybe too long which is why they cannot access it. Given I was asked to show how the lamp bursts into life and switch’s off the video can be no shorter. I just want a working lamp. Had I read reviews on John Lewis I would not have purchased the item as it appears to be a known fault.

We have now received the video successfully and have passed this on to the manufacturer, asking them to arrange collection of the faulty lamp so that we can issue your refund.
Regardless of the outcome with the manufacturer, we will make sure this is resolved for you. If necessary, we will arrange the collection ourselves and issue your refund once the lamp has been returned.
We apologise that it has taken longer than it should to reach this point and appreciate your patience while we put this right.

The lamp did not arrive in 12 days
The lamp did not arrive in 12 days. Electrician finished the rest of the work and left so now I will incur extra costs. Delivery is not tracked.

Thank you for your feedback, Marius. We’re very sorry for the delay and completely appreciate the frustration, particularly as you had arranged for your electrician to complete the installation.
Unfortunately, after investigating the delivery, it appears that Parcelforce received the item but it was not sent onwards from your local delivery depot as it should have been. This was outside of our direct control, but we fully appreciate that ultimately you ordered from us and expected your item to arrive on time.
As soon as the issue became clear, we contacted the supplier and have now arranged for a replacement to be sent to you. We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience and additional cost the courier delay has caused.
We hope that, in light of the circumstances and the steps we have taken to resolve the issue, you might consider reflecting this in your review and rating once the replacement has arrived. While the original delivery failure was unfortunately beyond our control, resolving problems when they do occur is something we take very seriously.
