Aggressive, rude, and completely unprofessional
My experience working with Massimo Osako significantly undermined my confidence in Amplitude as a company, not just in the individual relationship.
As the assigned Account Executive, Massimo was the primary representative of Amplitude, and unfortunately his approach consistently lacked professionalism, composure, and ownership. Communication was confrontational rather than constructive, and when issues were raised, the response was defensive instead of accountable. This created the strong impression that concerns were being resisted rather than addressed.
What was most damaging was the absence of clear accountability. Actions were discussed but not reliably delivered, context was frequently lost, and responsibility for resolving problems felt unclear or avoided. Over time, this reflected less like an individual performance issue and more like a breakdown in how the account was being managed on behalf of the company.
As a result, confidence in Amplitude’s ability to support customers responsibly was seriously eroded. When the person entrusted to manage the relationship behaves in a way that feels dismissive or aggressive, it inevitably reflects on the organisation’s standards, culture, and oversight.
Due to this experience, I’ve been transparent with other startup founders and operators in my network about our decision not to continue with Amplitude and for them to avoid at all costs.
HUGE SCAM!!!
HUGE SCAM!!!
This platform advertises a remote work position. The “job” is a huge scam. You perform tasks daily but there are “random” combination tasks that require you to upload crypto to complete. You are told you get the funds back plus commission after the tasks are completed. The amounts grow increasingly larger each task. When it was time to withdraw the funds, I asked the “Trainer” and “Customer Service” if there were any withdrawal rules or limits. I was told that I could withdraw all but $100 which had to stay in the account to initiate the next days tasks. Once I initiated my withdrawal of $3056 I was told I’d have to pay taxes of $611 first as only $2500 can be withdrawn at a time. When I inquired why I wasn’t told that when I asked I was told that withdrawals over $2500 required payment of taxes upfront and I wasn’t told bc they weren’t aware my account had accumulated so much money. Once the taxes were paid I was told the account was suspended but the withdrawal shows as successful only to a completely different account than I registered. They stole a total of $1376 from me. There has to be a way to find out who is running this platform so that legal action can be taken.

I have managed to escape this company …
I have managed to escape this company and its devious practices. Its nothing more than a dressed up scam using stablecoins. In reality you front your money to "earn commission".You are not told about "charging" your account till the 4th day of "training" To get your money out interac charges you $10Cdn via Kraken which was my loss dealing with this company.
The so called " Coach" was/is dumb as a rock and/or thick as 2 planks of wood. I got my money out this evening after having to endure 4 evenings of 2-3 hours per evening with the "coach".
I implore you the reader of this review to give this company a wide berth otherwise you could end up like the reviewer in front of me who lost $50k😪
This company need to be sued for…
This company need to be sued for thousands and millions, the amount of people that have been scammed and been through depression because of this fraudulent company, a lawsuit should be inbound for all the victims.
I have lost over £50,000 and no one is there to help me, this company should be reported. Big scam artists like this need to be in the newspapers so the whole world is aware!
Heartless Criminals!!
I don't know why others complaining
I don't know why others complaining, i guess most of us get greedy and go for more without having having enough funds for in case of the merges, well it have been working for me and i'm happy
Beware BIG SCAM…
On the 5th of June 2023 I received a WhatsApp message from Gertrude from Purple Recruitment (+60 number) regarding Job vacancies. She put me in touch with Denise based in the UK who sent me a WhatsApp message to work with Amplitude Company. Denise gave me a training using WhatsApp. She helped me create a Binance account and an Amplitude account. The job consists of driving products'data in order to help retailers to increase their online visibility to attract customers on the marketplaces. To register a day as a working day, I need to complete 2 sets of data. Each set consists of 40 data. Before starting the first set I need to deposit at leat 50 usdt in my Amplitude account. For the second set, I need to deposit at least 100 usdt. After completing each set, I get back my initial deposit + the commissions. Denise said that a Merge data consisting of 3 products can be rarely and randomly distributed by the system, in which case the cost of the merge can be "slightly" higher than the initial deposit. The balance will then be negative and I would need to buy USDT with my pounds from my Lloyds bank account and deposit the money in my binance account. Then the Amplitude Customer service (CS) will help me withdraw the money from my Binance account and deposit the usdt in my Amplitude account to complete the 40 data set. My probation would last 7 days before signing a freelance contract. The salary is given every 30 working days after the probation period. I started the probation on Sunday the 11th of June. On the 15th of June, I started my second set with 100 usdt deposit. I received a Merge data worth + 7000 usdt!! I was surprised! I contacted Denise and the CS. They said that the Merge data is RANDOMLY distributed by the system and encouraged me to deposit that amount to complete my set. I then bought USDT with my pounds ( around £6000) from my Lloyds bank account and deposited that amount in my binance account. CS helped me deposit the USDT in my Amplitude account to clear the Merge data to get my balance positive in order to complete the second set and withdraw my money and the commissions. CS confirmed that the + 7000 usdt Merge data was the "Last" merge in that set. After clearing the + 7000 usdt Merge, I received another +14000 USDT merge data!!! I contacted Denise stating that CS lied to me! CS said that it was a misunderstanding. They said that I cannot withdraw my deposit and commissions if I do not clear the 14000 usdt merge data and complete the set! I lost more than £6,000.
It is a Big SCAM. This company does not deserve any Star.
High expensive and overrated tool
High expensive and overrated tool
People end up making wrong analysis because of this tool. To me this is worse than not having the tool at all. It's difficult to get the very detail of the logic used for most of the calculations.
Do not pay for this
Great Event
Great session with very experienced people. Definitely going for future events

Great session
Great session! Explained the features and answered our questions very well.
Please make event explorer as it was before
Please make event explorer as it was before
Right now I have to go back and forth in the new and old layouts to track events. It was much better before and believe me the old UI is cleaner and easier to understand. I need to get my user id every time, add it and then track.
Slow reports when using the Amplitude analytics dashboard
The Amplitude analytics dashboard (website) is very well implemented and designed with good features but opening reports is very slow and also reports have too much extra (not needed) details that delay the opening of a report especially graphs and break down details for example when i just need a summery report .. let me know by email if you need more details.
Dashboards are probably one of the…
Dashboards are probably one of the weakest I have seen.
Product UI rich but easy to get lost in. And support sucks.
I am a free tier customer of Amplitude. The UI dashboard has a lot of info, and is quite easy to get lost in. They suggest that you must add categories to your events. When I did that, and then wanted to find a way of changing the category names, there seems to be no way to do that.
After looking around on their help pages and not finding anything about managing categories, I submitted a question on their online support form.
The response of their "support" person to this fairly simple question, was a generic unhelpful one:
"Upon reviewing your ticket submission, I’d like to note that we don’t offer 1:1 support for this type of inquiry for our Starter/Free & Scholarship customers."
What?! If you are a free tier customer, and you don't find what you need in their documentation, then you're stuck. They won't even say if managing categories is a paid feature! That's ridiculous.
- A dissatisfied customer.
