We asked for a quote for 2 heat pumps. We received the quote and when we emailed back the following day were told the price had increased 25% due to demand. Absolutely disgraceful.
Absolutely poor communication, so unprofessional
If you need any pumps or similar equipment ,do not use Andrew Sykes Group. Worst company for communication, You can not get through to a specific depot, Pumps are forever breaking down, Service engineers contradict each other. they charged us £592 for approx 150ltrs of fuel as standard. Communication for collection is appalling . They do not answer their emails. Their out of hours service told at 7.50am there will be an out of hours charge as they do not start work until 8am.
Look elsewhere for pump hire ! wish we had.
We hired 2 water filled air coolers in the warm period in September. They were largely useless. We were charged a £250 deposit which no one mentioned when the enquiry was made. It took Andrew Sykes about 2 weeks to collect the units even though we had paid a great deal for delivery and pick up and they made a fuss about the hire period even though we had stopped the hire and had written confirmation from them within the original hire period. They also took until yesterday to return the deposit despite numerous calls. Incredibly unhelpful service until this past Monday when someone told us they would sort the deposit out and for the first time was helpful and actually did it.
Forced to pay a bill for a hire period that I didn't even have because multiple emails to multiple people were ignored when trying to off hire.
Absolutely the worst customer service I've ever experienced... even worse than BT!!
Do Not Use!
Probably the worse recruitment process I have ever endured. Different companies have different recruitment processes, but they took about 6 weeks to notify me that I was unsuccessful in the whole time I had told me they had sent a letter to my address. Why didn't anyone just call me or email me? Especially during these times people hold on to the hope they might get a job and couldn't be bothered to let me know a lot sooner? Sent me a letter ???? You need to update your company
Their 'instant messaging' ('chat now') service is garbage. I had this message displayed over and over again: "Your estimated wait time is 0 minutes and 2 seconds". A shame.
