Mak first asked if we had any issues and when I told her spiders have been increasing of late she spent extra time addressing our concerns. Excellent job!

My Mount Vernon community's "No Soliciting" policy is clearly communicated by signage at our entrance, as does my front door. I arrived home to find an Aptive salesperson waiting at my front door. I advised him of the policy and he smugly replied that he was servicing my neighbor (a lie). He left my property and proceeded to disturb my other neighbor at which point I confronted him and asked if he understood what a no soliciting policy meant. He stared at me indignantly until I asked who he worked for. His reply was unintelligible as he finished a snack bar. When I asked how to spell his company's name he replied, "wouldn't you like to know." He then proceeded to a neighbor further down my street (Adams CT). I'd rate this negative experience as a zero if allowed. This individual is a stain on your company's legitimacy.

So far, I have had to personally schedule the recurring treatments included in the 18-month contract that I entered with Aptive in April of this year. I only knew that I was due for one when on June 30th, I got an email/text notification that I had a scheduled treatment coming up the next day, July 1st. I was on vacation during this time. Then on July 10th, I got another text saying that "We're sorry we could not complete your treatment yesterday [July 9th]. Please go online to reschedule." I had thought the treatment occurred without a hitch while I was on vacation, but apparently not and it took over a week to be contacted about it. So, I had to set myself up with an appointment for the standard included treatment.
Am I going to have to remember to do this for the rest of the contract? The next treatment is also not scheduled or planned in my account, and I'm not sure when it is supposed to occur.
Furthermore, when I scheduled for July 13th online, I could have sworn that the appointment window read 8am-12pm, so I planned my day accordingly. Then, when 12pm passed with no contact, I checked online again and the window said 8am-4pm. Then, at 3:45pm, the technician texted that he was 30 minutes away, and then arrived at my location around 4:30pm, outside the scheduled appointment window. Nothing against the specific technician, it seems to be more of an issue of how the business is run.
As of now, I am not yet convinced that the cost of this periodic service is worth the benefits. After the first two treatments, I still had to manage the ants in my home on my own. I entered into this contract while sick and on a considerable amount of cold medicine, and now I understand why there is essentially a $400 cancellation fee, disguised as "paying back the discount that I received" when first starting the contract. However, this is still less than the over $1,000 I would pay for 5-6 treatments over 18 months, which take less than 15 minutes each.

Aptive has provided good service for many years, but things have gone downhill with the last two visits. The two technicians that showed up were here for less than 15 minutes. Instead of speaking with me at the end of service, they just vanished without closing out, or letting me know to close my garage doors at completion. Cobwebs weren't swept out of the eves, even in my main entry, granules were not dropped in my small lawn to kill grubs for mole prevention, the rodent bait traps were unchecked, and they didn't respond to my inquiries via text after they departed. I called support for a reservice, and this employee did a good job on missed items, but unfortunately used the wrong product on my lawn for grubs.
Separately, I have continued to have issues with scheduling. The automated system Aptive uses always seems to book my follow-up appointments a month+ too early, and I have to waste time making adjustments with them. Pretty frustrating. I have other pest control companies looking to convert me. I will now be entertaining new bids.

I’m still seeing ants after a full year of service.
So I don’t know how effective the treatments are. So far it looks like it’s not that good.
Also please make sure that all of your agents who enter our home make sure he/she wears their shoe covers. When they walk outside it’s dirty. So please don’t come back into our home with out your shoe covers on. Thanks
