Amazing experience
Amazing experience! My appointment was at 9 AM for an emergency broken tooth. My tooth was fixed and I was out the door in 24 minutes. Dr. Raya in Kalmar was wonderful very gentle, kind and thorough. The chair side assistant was lovely and pleasant. She was from England, so it was nice to be able to speak English and Swedish with her. The facilities are the cleanest I’ve seen and everyone there was very professional.

Disappointing Experience and Poor Communication
I had a disappointing experience at Aqua Dental. My appointment started about 15 minutes late because the dentist was delayed. After that, I was told there wasn’t enough time to examine all of my teeth, even though I had booked an appointment in advance. Instead, only a temporary filling was placed, and I was asked to return in one month.
What disappointed me most was that I was charged 1,614 SEK for the temporary filling without being informed of the cost beforehand. I believe patients should always be told about treatment costs before any work is carried out, especially when the charge is significant.
I expected better communication and better time management. Unfortunately, this experience did not meet my expectations. Therefor I never recommend Aqua Dental.!!!

We would like to explain the difference between an emergency appointment and a comprehensive examination. An emergency appointment is primarily intended to assess and treat the specific problem that is causing pain or discomfort at the time of your visit. A comprehensive examination, on the other hand, is a longer appointment where the dentist evaluates your overall oral health and examines all of your teeth.
During an emergency visit, we always try to do as much as possible to help the patient. However, depending on the complexity of the case and the time available, it is not always possible to complete a permanent filling during the same appointment, as this may require a longer treatment session. In those situations, a temporary solution may be the most appropriate option until a follow up appointment can be scheduled.
We are sorry if you did not receive enough information about your treatment and the associated costs before the procedure. You should absolutely be informed about this in advance, and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention.
We also understand that delays can be frustrating. Although unforeseen delays can sometimes occur in dental care, it is important that patients are kept informed throughout the wait, and we are sorry if this was not your experience.

Fantastic
I had an infection in my wisdom tooth and was in a lot of Pain. Zishaan and Sofie were fantastic. They fit me in and after an hour the tooth was removed.
Excellent service all round.

I had a very good experience
I had a very good experience. I like that the clinic has emergency times and also that they work over the summer. Dr Ahmed was very professional and helpful, and so was the nurse. I didn’t get her name exactly, but I think it started with M, and it almost sounded like a summer drink (mimosa?), something like that. I apologise, it was a very beautiful name and a very helpful and kind nurse.
