Hoggs of Fife via Ardmoor
The customer service from Ardmoor is very good, however do be wary of purchasing any hoggs of fife products from them. Ardmoor will only act as an intermediary. I purchased a pair of Highs of Fife Banff dealer boots (RRP £85 at time of writing) within 5 months the soles of these boots completely wore out.
When picked up with Ardmoor they told me that they could do nothing other than pick up with the supplier for a review.
Hoggs of fife then returned stating that this is normal wear. Are they expecting a spend of £85 every 5 months.I would strongly advise anyone against purchasing this product

Excellent service and delivery from start to finish. Ordered some Jack Pyke wellington boots and a Sherpa fleece, plus some Wax for leather boots. Kept informed of my order and delivery, couldn't ask for outstanding service and very pleased with the boots and fleece in these changeable conditions.

A trustworthy, fair company with friendly customer service. I ordered ski clothing from their site, the package arrived in 2-3 business days, which is perfect (within EU). Unfortunately one of the items was faulty (one button was missing from it) and they gave me a full refund on the product. I appreciate it! :)

This company offers outstanding support, providing an incredibly helpful customer service experience. They resolve issues remarkably quickly. Their delivery, returns, and exchange processes are exceptionally swift. A truly wonderful organization.
Decent gear, terrible service.
The quality of the gear is spot on. What's tragic is the claimed 3-5 day timeline for delivery.
Two separate orders. The first took 9 days to arrive. Luckily I wasn't in a rush.
The second one I'm still holding my breath on. I did get a token email saying they hadn't forgotten about it. Followed by an autoresponse that they were closed for xmas. Theres now zero chance of me receiving the items prior to needing them.

Only order if prepared to wait
Ordered 2pairs of men’s boots on 26/11/25.Boots were not dispatched until 3/12/25.Ive checked the tracking with Royal Mail & they’ve been sat in the depot for a week.Disappointed that it took Ardmoor a week to dispatch-had I known this I’d never have ordered from them.Its now 10/12/25 & still waiting.
EDIT Since writing this review Ardmoor have contacted me twice trying to resolve the issue.It would seem the problem now is my local Royal Mail depot.Ardmoor are now doing their best to resolve the problem

Eventually.
My fault never read the reviews bought a jacket, website said in stock and silly me thinking this being 2025 and a uk company i would have the coat within a reasonable amount of time, little did i know that it would actually take 11 and a a bit days to arrive.
Lesson learned, never, ever order from this company again. AVOID!!!!!

Great customer service
I have purchased clothing from Ardmoor on more than one occasion and always found the service smooth. I recently got in contact with them to arrange a return and replacement of an item and it couldn't have been easier. Ardmoor is responsive, proactive and a pleasure to deal with.
Really disappointed by this company
Really disappointed by this company. I purchased some boots and a shirt for my partners birthday and with the boots being too large, sent them back in a refund. The outer box they arrived in was damaged on arrival so I sent the boots back in their box. This was the worst mistake I could have made as they are now refusing to refund or even exchange the item despite it being unused or even tried on. No willingness from customer service to find a solution and I even tired to contact the manufacturer to get a spare box for them but, no luck. Hoping they will actually return the boots so I can try and sell them online to get my money back. Poor customer service and I will not be using them again.

Waited a week on a pair of £160 boots to arrive and when they finally did they'd clearly been worn. Item showed signs of oil/water marks on the toes and wear and tear around the ankles. How this wasn't picked up upon packing/ dispatch is astounding as I noticed as soon as I opened the box.

I received my new dedito boot and ridgeline fleece on the Tues.
Customer service was fantastic and will definitely be buying off of them again and highly recomend.
Not good
Their websites state in stock, and or, ability to mail within 2/5 working days, but in reality they order directly from manufacturing supplier (i.e in my case Laksen) then send into me as the purchaser. Takes much longer, so in my opinion buy straight from the brand. No point in buying from ArdMoor as they add no value.

I purchased a jacket from them that arrived in two days, unfortunately it was too big. The returns process and reordering of a smaller jacket was simple and seamless. Would certainly try here first for any outdoor equipment. Well done Ardmore and thank you.

Great experience
Great experience. Had been trying to track down a Deerhunter jacket for a while when came across ArdMoor. Was unsure of the size so phoned Customer Service for help. They confirmed the item was in stock. Checked the measurement for me by actually getting the item and measuring pit to pit. Phoned me back within the hour. I ordered, the jacket was dispatched immediately and i received it the following day on tracked Royal Mail. Great service. Will be looking to shop here again. Thanks!
