Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Considering 1,028 reviews, most reviewers were somewhat happy with their experience overall. Many customers appreciate the wide selection of assets and the quality of the products, finding them helpful for their creative projects. Reviewers often highlight the ease of use and the positive impact the service has on their work, making it more efficient and personalized. The customer service is frequently praised for being responsive, professional, and understanding, with many users reporting quick and effective resolutions to their issues. However, some people were dissatisfied with the subscription and credit system, noting that credits can be used up quickly, especially for video and image generation, and that the cancellation process can be difficult to find. A few other people also felt that the product's performance, particularly for AI-generated content, did not always meet expectations, with issues like inaccurate results or features not working as described.

Good experience, fast response

I had a really good experience with customer service. I was expecting someone to answer after a day or so, but I was surprised when I've received an email only a couple hours later and again at any hour. The only down side was that I could not find an email on the main page of the website, and talking to an AI robot... it's not something I like to do. It depends on the situation, yes. But 98% of the time it CAN NOT replace a human.

Customer service

I didn't make the best use of Artlist due to time, and ended up forgetting to cancel the subscription. However, they gave me a refund, and I didn't have any issues with customer service as they were efficient.

Do not sign up to this service

Do not sign up to this service, I have been using Artlist for over a year for royalty free music for YouTube videos, during that time artlist have disputed several of the tracks from their platform, I recently signed up for their AI service at a cost of more than $600 nzd, the service failed to deliver, after creating my first AI video that wasn’t even 2 minutes long, artlist asked for more money as my credits had already run out. I realised it was a scam designed to extract more money from users and asked for my money back.Artlist refused to refund and closed the case. I am now $600 out of pocket and can’t even use the AI video I created as the images were all different. Substandard service for a substandard product. It’s a scam

Account concerns

Support was very attentive and proactive with regards to solving my issue with my account billing. Great customer service with a human person. The AI support is limited so make sure to reach out to a human person for support.

Artlis is honestly one of the worst AI video makers I’ve tried. I uploaded my own images and clearly explained what I wanted changed or animated, but it completely ignored the instructions and somehow made the result worse every time.

The tool feels unfinished, unreliable, and frustrating to use. Instead of following the image or prompt, it creates random low-quality videos that don’t match what you asked for. For something that is supposed to help make AI videos easier, it just wastes time.

Really disappointing experience. I would not recommend Artlis if you need accurate results from your images or prompts.

Withdrawal request ignored — ticket closed without response

I subscribed to Artlist AI Toolkit on 16 May 2026 for €171.22. Within 2 days I exercised my statutory 14-day right of withdrawal under §355 BGB (German Consumer Law).

I contacted Artlist via their live chat. Their AI agent acknowledged my withdrawal request, confirmed my account is registered in Germany, and stated the case would be escalated to a human agent. The chat was then closed without any human response.

I then sent a formal written withdrawal notice by email to artlist.io, citing §355 BGB explicitly. I received an automated confirmation that my ticket was opened — and within hours, Artlist marked it as "resolved" without providing any response, refund, or acknowledgement of my legal withdrawal request.

I have since filed a PayPal dispute with full documentation.

The credit limits are also severely misleading — 11,000 credits per month sounds like a lot until you realize a single 5-second video costs 1,200 credits. That is fewer than 10 short clips per month for €171.22. This was not clearly communicated before purchase.

I strongly advise other European consumers to be aware of their legal rights before subscribing.

UPDATE 20. Mai 2026: After filing a PayPal dispute and posting this Trustpilot review, Artlist contacted me personally and processed a full refund of €171,22 the same day. The refund has been confirmed in my PayPal account. I am raising my rating to 2 stars to reflect the resolution — however, the fact remains that this required a PayPal dispute and public pressure before any action was taken. A legitimate withdrawal request under §355 BGB should never require this level of escalation. European consumers: know your rights.

A dream project realised…!

I’m a small time wannabe film maker. My rating is solely based on the fact that for the past 15 years I’ve had an idea for a short fantasy film that I never thought would ever see the light of day. I’m roughly a third into the virtual “shoot” using the A.I. Provided by artlist and I am absolutely overjoyed at how I’m able to finally realise my vision and it’s not costing me millions of dollars.

A few things, it’s not perfect! There are many shots that were created that are on the cutting room floor due to Seedance not understanding the storyboard. Get ready for lots of trial and errors, or compromising on what you actually get.

Also, a really big negative, your credits don’t roll from month to month, so you have to use your credits allocated in the month they’re given to you, which sux because some months you might be less creative than in others. Make sure if you do a yearly subscription that you use your credits up!
