I ordered an apostille for a German police record, but the one I received was issued in Tunisia, not Germany. This makes the document invalid for my needs, as apostilles must come from the country where the document originates (Germany).

When I asked for clarification, the only response I got was "Don’t worry about it"—with no legal justification or solution.

Key issues:
❌ Apostille issued in the wrong country (Tunisia instead of Germany).
❌ No valid explanation or legal basis provided.
❌ No offer to correct the mistake.

The only positive I can say is that the communication was good. Besides that the experience was horrible. We had to get translations for two USA Birth Cerificates and one Marriage Certificate - basically nothing too complicated and very straight forward. The translations were received within the promised 48 hrs time frame, but the quality of the translations was at the level of a 3rd grade student. It seems that they ran it through Google translate without any quality check. When I reached out to them they asked me to make the corrections in the PDF. So I basically had to do the work for them. Even with the corrections I had provided, it took 2 more attempts to get everything right - absolutely pathetic. Secondly, the German authorities may not necessarily accept the electronic translations that AS Uebersetzungen provides. They charged me additional EUR 15 for the originals, which till today I have not recieved (it's 2 weeks now), and the communications has broken up. They are not responding to my emails anymore. I guess they have my money and now don't care.
**Update 8/22/2024**
The original documents finally arrived - they were sent from Tunesia! I leave this to our interpretation - I have my theory.

The second update is that AS Uebersetzungen reached out to me and asked me to take down my review for 50% discount towards future services. First of all, i am not corrupting my self as my review is truthfully, and secondly, why would I use their service again anyway? I ended up having my docs translated again by another translation service for the same money, but in superb quality.

This was the best service I ever had. They are quick and professional. I highly recommend AS Übersetzung.

I ordered a translation+Shipping. For the latter I paid 15€. It took about 10 working days for the letter to get here. I would kindly advise to work out on shipping service more if possible.

There were very quick and efficient. When there were questions, there answered them ride away.
