A very easy process to set up and the tutor provided really helped my son improve his English, Maria made him feel relaxed about the sessions and helped build his confidence.
I would definitely recommend using Ash Tutors.

Geoff organised a fantastic tutor for my daughter to improve her maths. We started this 18 months before GCSE’s and her understanding and confidence grew over time. The most important was to have someone who could guide one to one and if she was struggling she then had the confidence that she had a tutor session within 7 days and didn’t start to think she wasn’t good at maths as she didn’t get it. My advice start earlier than you think and see that confidence grow!!

Shelley has been an amazing English GCSE tutor. She has really helped my daughter get greater depth in her answers and knowledge. Shelley has a lot of AQA experience and has been a kind, supportive tutor who has pushed the boundaries. Shelley has always been professional and prepared.

I am more than grateful for the excellent tutoring that my grand daughter Lexi has been receiving from Alex. She now feels more confident approaching her GCSEs very soon. Thanks again to Geoff for organising this for us

After a few weeks of discovering how truly poor some private tutoring can be, it was with great relief we found Ash Tutors. Geoff arranged a GCSE science teacher immediately and we are very grateful to Woody (tutor ref.185) for all the carefully structured face to face sessions she arranged with Izzy. She quickly identified the areas of weakness in science knowledge but beyond that she also recognised the need to reassure and build confidence. The whole experience was excellent for both Izzy and her family.

My son was really struggling with his maths and was predicted a ‘3’ in his GSCE!
With the support and guidance from Ash Tutors and in particular Carl Burgress his tutor - my son is now predicted a 4/5.
My son struggles to engage with new people but the way this tutor has been with him is nothing but amazing, not only in the now predicted grade 4/5 but the way he engaged with him, made him feel at ease and supported him when he struggled to grasp the task at hand!
I have already recommended this service to friends but feel so passionately about the service they provide that I wanted to leave a review!
I will be utilising this company again in the future if required for my younger child!!

The best place to go for one-to-one tutoring, far superior to group classes. Communication from the company and the tutor is excellent. My son has been matched with a great tutor and is making good progress.

My daughter was in year 11 and struggling with her maths, we were worried she wouldn’t be able to pass at GCSE and would have to resist the following year. I found ash tutors and thought this would be the perfect fit as my daughter needed 1-1 help with someone. My daughters tutor was Jane and she was absolutely incredible! So helpful and so kind and she was amazing at helping my daughter in a way she needed to be helped. My daughter has just got her GCSE results back and we are so happy to say she passed her maths and won’t have to resit!!! Such a huge thanks to Jane because it wouldn’t have been possible without her. 100% recommended ash tutors to anyone struggling who needs 1-1 help.

Ash Tutors has made the whole experience very easy, they tailored my daughters tutor perfectly. She gained the required knowledge needed for her GCSE mathematics with a fun one to one approach that only a tutor could give.

I contacted Geoff recently as I need support for my son in his final GCSE year in all three sciences. Never having used 'tutor agencies' before I was attracted to Ash Tutors as it seemed to be a little different - smaller and somehow more personal. On first contact I was very impressed with the detail to which Geoff went in assessing our needs in order to find the most appropriate tutor.
Geoff put us in touch with Gemma whose approach is absolutely fantastic - super efficient, supportive and positive, going to a lot of trouble, initially and as an ongoing basis to understand our needs such that detailed learning plans are developed from a very informed perspective.  She is massively enthusiastic for her subject and her teaching.  Her teaching and learning strategies are engaging, fun and everything I associate with excellent teaching and a good student experience. From first contacting Geoff / Ash Tutors I can honestly say that I have been very impressed with everything about them. Most importantly there is noticeable improvement in my son's engagement with the subject and there is early indication it's resulting in better grades.

My daughter has now had 4 maths tuition sessions with Jeff ( from Ash tutors). In that short time, her confidence is building and she is answering GCSE maths questions successfully. Jeff has been an excellent tutor and in my daughters words; “I actually feel like I learn something in the sessions”. I would certainly recommend Jeff and Ash tutors 😊.

Our nine-year-old daughter has been attending Ash tutors since Christmas to help her with Numeracy. In this short time, the change we have seen in her attitude and confidence towards this subject has been outstanding. We are continually kept updated regarding her progress and key areas to help her progress. She actually looks forward to her Numeracy tuition - which is a real credit to Geoff at Ash Tutors who has encouraged, nurtured and given a once 'number shy' girl the belief that numbers are fun!

I have been using Ash Tutors for almost 3 years for my son who currently sitting his GCSE’s. it was for maths tuition. The service that Geoff and his tutors provide is excellent and very professional, I would have no qualms in recommending Ash Tutors in fact I have done to a few of my friends.
My sons confidence in maths took a massive dip in Y8 and he was not hitting his targets and that’s were Ash Tutors came in and completely turned things around for him, by the time his Y10 mocks came along he was back to his target and has continued ever since and he has sat a higher level papers in his GCSE’s.
