I would like to share my experience…
I would like to share my experience with Aspen Dental, Citrus Heights Ca 95610. I scheduled an appointment with Aspen Dental last August 27, 2026, mainly for Panorama X-Ray and CBTC Scan or Cone Beam. I have been honest with them from the very start, that I will need a digital copy of those on CD as I will use it for dental tourism, that I am willing to pay out of pocket if my dental insurance will not over it. They agreed with my request and I paid $451.00 out of pocket. The CD arrived Sept 02,2026. I was excited to send it to my Dentist overseas. Then I found out that the CD's content is my dental X-ray they took last 4/2024 and the panorama x-ray. The CBCT scan which I paid for $451 was not included. I went back to the clinic 09/03/2026 to show the content oof the CD they sent is not what I paid. The officer incharge promised me to have the correct copy sent to mme and I will receive it in another week. She also said she will do her best to speed up the copy. It already 7 days past since they said they will send me the correct DICOM file . I called the clinic today to remind them that I have not yet received the correct copy of my scan. They said to call me back but I have not heard from them. I am having anxiety now and cannot sleep because of this problem. What they are doing is violation of my patient's right to access of my dental records. I am requesting ASPEN DENTAL to release my DICOM file immediately.
"REPAIR" SERVICE ADVERTISED IS A SCAM/Inacessible spaces
"Repair" services advertised are a scam just to get you in the door. I called about an URGENT repair to a partial. I had the whole tooth which had fallen out. Made an appt, received a text day of original to call the WRONG office to reschedule because they had overbooked. Made new appointment at correct office for that day. Aspen asked for insurance card and I had to fill out a medical history even though no dental work was being done on me. Was taken to a tiny room, WHEELCHAIR INACCESSIBLE, so I could not get in, even in a small, PORTABLE WHEELCHAIR. Aspen asked if the partial was made by Aspen (No). Then Aspen, interestingly, advised me that the lab tech could NOT repair the partial. I had wasted a lot of time an energy. BUT. amazingly, they could make me a whole NEW partial (this one is 2 years old). I had explained several times that I needed the partial repaired by the next morning and was scheduled elsewhere to get new dentures the next week. SO a new partial or dentures made by Aspen was not possible. They recommended I go to Walmart and buy a dental repair kit. Pleasant staff, but they have QUOTAS. Do read more about Aspen & their operations. Private Equity Group owned. I do not recommend. Upselling, recommending excessive unnecessary work (to meet quotas?) seems to be common based on reviews. Call a dental lab for repairs.

Surprised billng..the partial they fitted me with hasn't ever fit right. Food gets caught in beween roof of mouth and partial plate..very uncomfortable. Due to me having a serious illness and in hospital and rehab center? Haven't been able to get back in.. But, don't harass me about the shabby work I feel you did on my mouth. I will be back in when I get back on my feet. I need a serious adjustment to this partial plate.veey disappointed in your dental office. Won't be referring my friends to yiur offices until I am satisfied.
Mixed. Big ups. Big downs
Mixed. Quality of care good. Dentists patient and non judgmental. Communication is not good. Records are not good. Sloppy records. Sloppy billing. They want the money all up front. Then try to double bill something already done. They try to claim we were never going to do this when they were. It’s sloppy and I hope they don’t treat others this way. I don’t know how they can talk to you about something for going on 5 months take impressions. Select teeth color. Promise deliver soon. Then the office manager who knows nothing except by close to hearsay moonwalks it all back
Throbbing toothache
Throbbing toothache. Appt was in 10 days. asked if anyone cancelled, could they fit me in. they said yes. 15 minutes later, they got me in the same afternoon. No fuss, no muss.... tooth needed pulling. Got it pulled. They were GREAT.
Aspen dental charges such high prices
Aspen dental charges such high prices. You are told your price, pay your amount, then told everytime you go in that you owe more. After paying thousands for procedures, the procedures didnt work and pieces of the procedures fell out. They still asking for more money to finish the procedure. Not sure why but this company will gouge you financially for anything done besides a regular cleaning. Run, run, run. Would not recommend.
Aspen dental on 537 Lincoln street, MA, 01605
Aspen dental on Lincoln street, MA, 01605. I went for a crown on the 07/02/2026 I paid half and paid the remaining on the 07/15/2026. She couldnt make the right measurements for my crown and was rather upset to my surprise when I complained the crown was only covering about 90% of my tooth. The day of the initial prep on 07/02/2026 the health assistant couldnt made the temp crown coz the measurement were off. I told her to seek help coz she tried over 10 times. The dentist came in and asked her if she needed help. This was the time I expected her to know there was something wrong and should have corrected it. Although I protested the use of the display she promised the original crown will be fine. And the day we say there was a problem on the 07/15/2026. She kept telling me this your crazy idea coz she wanted me to get clear liners which I explained I cant coz I need to travel with my family without a short time and wanted the gap in my teeth closed before we go. The most painful this was when she was doing the reprep I felt a lot of pain, she never apologized nor give me more pain managing medication she was in hurriedly and left. I was promised a replacement in 2 weeks I kept calling and they kept shifting the date from 07/30, became 08/03, then 08/06 and then 08/10 they never for a single day volunteer to call me and explain despite promises of calling me back. On the 08/10 was told theyll call me back in 20 mins which they never did. The path up display she put in as a temp crown broke and I swallowed part. The manager called only to tell me that they don’t make travel arrangements for me so they can’t take responsibility and didn’t make any comments about the incompetent dentist they hired. I’m wondering why he even called but it re-affirms why the establishment and stuff behaves the way they do.

I went to Aspen Dental for dental…
I went to Aspen Dental for dental implants and that was 1 1/2 years ago and just today got my NEW bottom dentures for implants because they ruined my first set and then tried to tell me there was nothing wrong. They were so out of alignment that it put so much pressure on the post it came loose And there’s so much more.
Beware and always get a second opinion
I thought that for the first time in my 65 years of existence, I would try the corporate dental practice of Aspen Dental to see if it compared with independent dental practices. The initial $29 offer for new patients to have full series and panoramic x-rays taken, a consult with one of their hygienist and ultimately an exam from the dentist was very attractive given these are typically expensive first visits at most independent practices. However, after having the x-rays performed I waited for the hygienist to perform his/her exam. The hygienist was either out to lunch or not available, whether with another patient and/or the office staff may have been short-handed? Eventually, after a longer than normal wait for the hygienist, the dental assistant went to get the dentist to perform her exam. Dr. Aesha Patel examined my x-rays and my mouth and ultimately informed me that 'because of bone loss' in certain areas, I would most likely be a candidate for 'deep cleanings' in the future. I was told that if a deep cleaning was performed, I could only have future deep cleanings in the future and would no longer be a candidate for the lesser expensive prophy. Dr. Patel was very cordial and professional and even relayed, when queried, that her advice was unbiased and that she was a salaried physician and was not trying to up-sell me unnecessary procedures. Since the hygienist was still unavailable to see me, I was introduced to Katherine, the Office Manager, who reviewed my x-rays with Dr. Patel and subsequently took me into her office to share with me what my cost for a 'deep cleaning' would be after my Veterans Discount was applied. The cost was itemized and broken down on three 8.5x11 inch pages. The initial cost to me; if I were to schedule follow-up would be $1923.00. Subsequent 'deep cleanings' would be lower but still substantially higher and needed more frequently. I told Katherine that I was taken aback by the quoted price as I had never had any problems with any of my extensive 'mostly cosmetic in nature and protection' dental work. No cavities, root canals, extractions (other than wisdom teeth in 1980). I then told her that given the cost, I would like to get a second opinion from another dentist. I asked her if I could avail myself of the x-rays for review by a third-party and she said; "Of course!" I asked for same and was told that my request for copies to be emailed to me would have to be submitted and approved by corporate and that if approved, I could expect them within 3 -4 days. I did seek another dentist's opinion and also scheduled a prophy on the same day. I made an appointment for two days later, provided my 2023 x-rays to that dentist and the hygienist who examined and cleaned my teeth. Upon completion of the cleaning and exam, I shared my Aspen Dental Dental 'advice for further treatment.' Both the dentist and hygienist were appalled by this diagnosis! The hygienist even asked to share with her fellow hygienist at the practice my story. I said sure and I left her my itemized breakdown given to me by Katherine at Aspen Dental. My hygienist, after cleaning and upon inquiring what level of cleaning would I be considered, she said that I was a Class II prophy given I had not had a cleaning in 14 months. She also stated that after the cleaning she was performing, I would then be a Class I prophy patient. She also said that she did not see any 'bone loss' on my x-rays from 2023. Note: Two days after receiving my Aspen Dental x-rays, I submitted them to the private practice dentist and they concurred with the hygienist who has 22 years experience cleaning teeth that there was NO BONE LOSS attributable on the latest x-rays. I will not be returning to any other corporate dental offices. To say the least, an no pun intended; Aspen Dental left a 'bad taste' in my mouth!

I Sadot Hutchinson enjoyed my experience the ladies took really good care of me amazing team and staff Dr B is the best
Horrible
Horrible, Horrible experience!! Please don't come here! I now believe that the good reviews are not real, but written by Aspen. I went in with a bad tooth, they did xrays. And told me I needed three teeth crowned. The price....over $10,000!!! This is not a typo over $10,000! I had only one tooth that was hurting me, it was the very back tooth, so I asked them to pull it so that I could be relieved from my pain. Little did I know that this was just the start of my pain. Went in for my appointment and the assistant start numbing the wrong side of my mouth! I should of gotten up and ran then, but they already had half my money. My dentist is now retired, which why a gave this place a try. My old dentist would give me the numbing shot and it never hurt. This was quite painful here, but the assistant assured me this was the worst. Lie!! I was in so much pain and it was a horrible horrible experience. I was being pushed down so hard that the assistant held my lower jaw so the dentist would not break it. Yes the numbing shot did its job, but it can't stop the pain from all that pressure. The tooth broke I heard it hit the wall! I was crying and had my feet on the chair wanted to get up and run! Then after it was all over I was informed that he broke the part of the filling out of the tooth next to it, but unfortunately those things happens, so I will have to come back and get that tooth crown. No way on this earth will I ever step foot in this office again!!! He also left that broken tooth with a sharp piece that was jabbing my tongue, which I didn't realize it was this way because my tongue was numb for hours. I had to find another dentist the very next day to repair the broken tooth that he caused. Please Please look elsewhere for your dentist and not this horrible place!!
Set an appointment up with them 2 weeks…
Set an appointment up with them 2 weeks ago and had to call to confirm a time and they didn't even have her in the system. Now they want to do all kinds of different appointments, you know to squeeze every cent that they can out of you. I'm sick and tired of these scamming scumbags, I really wish there was a place that looked at their people as patients and not wallets. Maybe one day there will be such a place, I assure you that this isn't the one.
I feel like I’ve been scammed into…
I feel like I’ve been scammed into services at Aspen Dental that I didn’t need, require nor ask for. I simply had a tooth pop off my denture. I had the tooth and I had the denture. All I needed was for Aspen Dental to put a drop of glue on the tooth and reattach it to the denture. I didn’t need anything done to my body.
But first I was required to fill out a medical questionnaire which would require $ 29. Then I was required to have X-Rays of my mouth. Note that I have no teeth. And later, the dentist would do an oral exam of my mouth. The cost $ 220 + plus the previous $ 29. Total $ 249 to have a tooth reglued to my denture. The normal price for such a simple job is $ 49 as listed on the Aspen Dental website.
How would anyone feel if they took their car to a mechanic to have a headlight replaced but he said it is required to hook up your car to his diagnostic machine to see if there’s anything else wrong with the vehicle? Cost $ 200 plus the headlight replacement. Wouldn’t a normal person feel SCAMMED for extra goods or services that they didn’t need nor want nor asked for?
I will forward this review to the BBB and Consumer Affairs Office to see what they think about my opinion. Is Aspen Dental padding each customer’s bill to improve their income?
Huge advise!
I had Invisalign treatment at Aspen Dental long ago. After my initial set of retainers expired or after a year, I scheduled another scan and X-rays to order new ones since the old ones had broken. The order was placed on July 29, and I was supposed to pick them up on August 10. However, on August 10, I received a call informing me that they had forgotten to get my signature to finalize the order. I was supposed to pick them up on August 11. When I visited the office, I asked for a resolution to this issue. The dental office refused to take any responsibility or offer a refund. As a result, my new retainers are now delayed. I strongly advise against visiting Aspen Dental in Medford, Massachusetts. Save yourself the money and the hassle.
The office and dentist is no issue
The office and dentist is no issue, I have had good experience with them, however do NOT sign up for the Aspen Dental Savings plan without asking hundreds of questions. They use exam, hygiene, without any explanation of what these terms mean, and to me are miss leading. Hygiene is a cleaning and exam is just looking at your mouth. They do not advise what the charges are for the procedures only that you will receive a percentage off. Their charges for these procedures are among the highest in the area so you really are not really saving anything. Save your money and time and pay for the Delta or Etna dental programs, you will come out better.
Aspen Dental in Waynesville the Worst Dental Experience Ever
Went to Aspen Dental in Waynesville, North Carolina because of their advertising and ended up more than disappointed. I had provided them with very recent scans and radiograph images along with a periodontist notes and recommendations. They somehow misplaced all that I provided and stated all the images must be redone, but that there would be no charge. I was told this repeatedly by the office manager Jesse and other staff. Well, I just received a statement that is definitely charging me for those images. I initially met with the principal Dr Cardinal for a very brief discussion. He looked in my mouth for two seconds, literally, I was billed for a limited exam of $114. I was to meet him again but at that 2nd appointment, I was told I was to see Dr. Goel because Dr Cardinal was not available that day. Come to find out they billed me again this time for a comprehensive oral exam. Dr. Goel never examined me at all. Never looked in my mouth. We only talked about my case yet and I was billed for a comprehensive oral exam. I paid them a total of $689 to date but out of all of that I was never actually examined by either dentist. Even my dental insurance company noted that the claims were defined as “exceeds frequency limit.” The only time you could call any visit I had there as an examination was the Perio probing, that is it, but still I paid them almost $700 for no exams. Interestingly I had already had the Perio probing by periodontist specialist prior to Aspen dental hygienist repeating the process. They took gross advantage of me when I thought I was going to receive treatment at fair prices at Aspen Dental. This chain has an overall rating one star, now I know why. The also declined to take my case, I believe because they were not experienced enough (1 extraction, bridge with crowns) to handle a common case. Also, they are now billing me for deep cleaning charge (done by a hygienist) that is higher than an actual periodontist quoted me. How do they get away with billing more for a hygienist vs a periodontist? They grossly overcharge, lied about not charging me for images I had already paid for and provided to them and declined a case they should be able to do. Now I’ve got an additional billing of $1304 more. How do they get away with all this?
I went to Aspen Dental for dental help…
I went to Aspen Dental for dental help regarding a front flipper that broke. I just wanted to replace it with a new one (since they made the one I had). They did impressions and a bite test and the next thing I know, they made me a partial denture for $676.00…I never mentioned a partial denture. The two dentist’s couldn’t get it to fit correctly, told me to use adhesive and I went out the door with a worse problem than I originally went in for. I just wanted temporary help because in a couple months I go on Medicare and hopefully that would defray some of the dental expense which I told the dentist/owner of the Louisville KY area Aspen Dental locations. He said they don’t do flippers anymore. Why wasn’t I told this the first time I was there? I know it’s all about money (especially when you have a $2 million dollar house) the owner lives in. This partial denture looks ridiculous and changed the way I actually look! I am requesting a full refund since I was sold something I didn’t want and cannot wear. I can’t believe I ever went to Aspen Dental years ago…I’ll never go back (Hurstbourne Pkwy ) location nor any other one! I can’t understand why you still run commercials which are just so untrue. I will not recommend Aspen Dental to anyone ever!!!!! Go toothless first!!!!!!!

I went to the Richmond ky office for emergency treatment and was told that I could not get emergency treatment that same day even though I had two fillings that had come out and the tooth was cutting into the inside of my mouth.
Aspen dental 499 Tarrytown Rd.
Aspen dental 499 Tarrytown Rd., White Plains, NY. I made an appointment there the other day speaking with representative at their location who told me it’s free consultation for implants and new customers will get 20% discount than after a follow up call the next day to confirm the appointment the new parasite that works there tells me there is no free consultation it’s gonna be $350 fee for your first visit.
Nothing like bait and switch bunch of lying blood sucking, scumbags make you believe they are giving you some type of a good service making empty promises only to flip the coin and lie to you the day of appointment just to suck more money out of you. Stay away from Aspen dental bunch of no good thieving parasites go to your local dentist. Yes, I’ll course you a little bit more but at least you know what you pay for and what you are getting avoid these scams with aspen dental.
