We had a break in and house keys stolen. Associated Windows originally fitted the doors 3 years ago.
Bill from Associated Windows in Filton came out this afternoon (Saturday) with no notice and supplied and fitted new barrel so we can rest easy. Fantastic service at such short notice and on a weekend.

Fantastic service received from this company. We were after 4 sets of French doors. Jason from associated windows was a pleasure to work with and gave us so much impartial advice. Without that we would have probably made some bad choices due to the choices on offer. Once we placed the order they promptly came out to survey. They were then all fitted soon after with no fuss and no issues. Most importantly they all look fantastic and Jason’s advice proved to be spot on. Doors look fantastic and if we ever need more there is only one company I would go to.

Unfortunately I haven't had a good experience with Associated Windows and really can't recommend them. I had 2 doors fitted and have had several problems with them. Firstly, the fitters drilled through into my newly decorated living room and I had to get my decorator back to sort it out. I then waited a long time for the job to be finished as also need my back door panel replacing, but the fitters didn't know anything about this. One of my doors had the wrong lock fitted and one has since had 2 separate leaks due to it not being sealed properly at the bottom and around the letter box. This led to puddles on the floor. The latest issue is the door handles have corroded/pitted in less than a year. None of these things are my real issue though - the real issue is the severe lack of communication and lying that the company do. Each issue has taken weeks and weeks to sort out, despite numerous phone calls and visits to the office. Every time I have made contact I am told someone will get back to me and nobody ever does. I chase and get told the same thing and again, nobody gets back to me. This goes on and on and they just aren't interested in the slightest in sorting anything out. Their customer service deserves zero stars unfortunately and so I would recommend not going anywhere near them. Its fine if all is ok but you're stuffed if not. I am still waiting for 1 door handle to be replaced and even spoke to the Director/owner about it (Rob) who assured me if he needed to, he would come and replace it. My door handle was supposed to be delivered 2 weeks ago and I have heard nothing. Its just upsetting and I don't understand why they just keep fobbing me off.

Disgraceful Company!

We had our windows and doors fitted by this company and a conservatory.

After 5 years the windows have slipped (not installed correctly) allowing a lot of noise through and some handles have broken across our doors and windows.

I spend 2 years chasing to get them to rectify this problem in the end Rob came out and said that we would replace the handles and sort the windows. Then nothing, no communication and I've chased multiple times now.

We will be having a 3rd party come out and fixed their problems and then will be taking legal action against the company for not honouring the warranty/guarantee they have given.

This company is awful and I would suggest anyone looking to get doors/windows from this company not too.

I want to make it clear we are not double glazing engineers and there do not know what was a good install and what is not. We have since had several other companies out and they have all said that it is a defective frames & handles and NOT misuse (never got the handles even after promises).
We also called two years before COVID, so that's clearly not an excuse for poor customer service.
I would go with any other company than this one. They DO NOT CARE once they get your money.

I chose Associated Windows because they are a local family run business. I am very pleased with my new windows they are of a good quality, have been fitted well and look great! I appreciated Bills suggestions and the time he spent discussing the speck. The window fitters and the office team were friendly and accommodating.

Foolishly I used Associated Windows for a second job after a fairly bad experience previously. As mentioned in other reviews, their work is not good quality and after care is non existent. I had 3 bay windows installed. One was fitted so badly it wont close on the latch (ie slightly open).
The main issue is that they seem to have used a non flexible sealant around the windows, most of which has now fallen out. I've contacted them several times and they did agree to replace it. But wont give a date. Now they are ignoring emails and wont communicate with me.
It's worth mentioning the other poor job they did for me, where they left huge unfilled holes in the plaster under 2 windows. They had tried to fill one with flexible bathroom sealant, which was never going to set given the size of the hole. After months of emailing them, I eventually fixed the plastering myself and deducted £300 from the final balance (luckily I hadnt paid in full).

We worked with Associated Windows on our Listed Coach House renovation, where they supplied Origin Soho windows and doors, and I honestly can’t recommend them highly enough.

The team went above and beyond to help us find the right design solutions for a sensitive listed building, offering thoughtful advice and practical options at every stage. They were incredibly supportive of our build timeline, responsive throughout, and a genuine pleasure to work with from start to finish.

Based on both this personal experience and our wider professional work, Associated Windows are now our go-to doors and windows partner for Ivywell Interiors. Outstanding service, great products, and a team you can truly rely on.

I would highly recommend associated Windows

Jason is extremely knowledgeable, honest, and gave me great advice - from choosing some gorgeous new bifold doors, to how to save money on refurbing my existing windows and doors rather than replacement. The installation team were great too. Overall a 5 star business with great products and great service.

I have left one star because it doesn’t allow me to leave no star. None existent customer service, excuse after excuse for not completing work. Phone calls never returned. Minimising poor work and unreliable with promises to return to put right extremely poor workmanship. It’s very sad but this company is a definite AVOID AVOID AVOID. Please do not feel loyal to local trade in this instance. It’s a totally diabolical waste of money and ignorance from a company that does not value customers.

A big thank you to Jason and his team for their fantastic work! We've been working together for quite some time now, and they've just completed the installation of triple glazed windows at our Cotswolds barn conversion. The windows look absolutely fabulous — the quality is outstanding, and the attention to detail has been excellent throughout.
The Origin triple glazed triple sliders in particular create a real wow effect and have completely transformed the space.
Looking forward to the next project together!.

A very professional installation team who did a great job with amazing attention to detail. We had to wait quite a bit longer than the estimated fitting date but it was well worth the wait. My daughter had the same positive experience when Associated Windows did a replacement job for her last year.

Smooth sailing from getting a quote,which was not a pressure sale all the way to the windows being installed.

From the sales team to the ordering to the fitting, everything was excellent. The fitting team were on time, did such a good job, cleaned up after themselves. I would highly recommended this company to anyone who were wanting to change their windows in their home.Great

Ordered 2 doors 18th February, paid a £800 deposit. Despite several telephone calls, numerous promised call backs, and several excuses we still have no doors!! Non existent customer service. 2 calls made this week already with promises of a call back, still nothing!! Absolutely shocking way to run a business. Will expect a refund of our deposit plus the interest you've earned holding on to our money for the last 4 months!! Does anyone recommend a glazing company that actually values its customers?

Update - after my initial post, we were contacted that evening to arrange a date. The doors were fitted the following week to a very high standard. The fitters were very polite and did a fab job.

Great job by Jason, Richard the fitter and team. We're very happy with our front door (and previously had windows fitted).

No after sales whatsoever. Logged an issue using their online form, no response. Followed up with 5 calls and promised Rob the owner would get back to.me. No response. Happy to take my money in the first place but can't be bothered to treat their customers.with a little respect.

Update - Company eventually contacted me and after discussion provided a resolution to the issue. Whilst happy that resolved, shouldn’t need constant chasing to receive good after sales service.
