From Patio Noise to Polished Studio: Why I Trust Async
I've been using Async since the very beginning of my podcast, Sunday Afternoon Smokes (spotify, youtube, apple podcasts, iHeart radio, pocket casts). That was in Nov of '24 when it was still podcastle.
I didn't then and still don't really know anything about sound or video editing. I started as an audio only podcast, and ran that way for 62 episodes. I recently coverted my guest room downstairs into a podcast lounge and took my podcast to video. I've published video episodes 62 and 63, but as of last night I've recorded episode 70.
I say all of that as a huge thank you to Async. This platform enables people without the technical skills of editing for sound and video to create a quality show. The magic dust feature is simply amazing. I used to record on my patio in my backyard, and my house is right up against a very busy street. On top of that, I'm 5 minutes from the local hospital and fire dept, so it wasn't uncommon to have an ambulance, fire truck, or police car flying down the street with sirens blaring. You never heard the slightest sound of it on the recording.
When it comes to video editing, it's super simple to chop up your video, add a static logo image of whatever, overlay into outro music that you can fade in and out, sound effects, transitions; it's all point and click stuff.
All the tools they offer work as described. I can't see myself doing this show without async, and I'm so grateful to have discoverd them.
I've had a few minor issues, but reaching out to support is always a breeze. They handle everything with great timing, professionalism, and have always made things right.

I have been using Async for a long time (when it was Podcastle) and I love it for audio file clean up for my podcast. Magic Dust makes the audio sound like perfection. Now, with all the new features, I need to learn how to use them. Very happy with how easy it is to edit audio. Have not tried editing video since Async took it over, but I'm sure it is great.

We love using Async. We record offline and upload to it, and then their AI even helps us create all sorts of postings in a fraction of the time that would normally take. This has been a game-changer for us since we produce two podcast episodes a week on video and post them to all the platforms

Really solid experience overall. The platform is easy to use, reliable, and offers a lot of helpful features that make things simple and efficient. I especially appreciate how smooth and organized everything feels. My only wish is that there were more custom editing tools and manual options instead of leaning so heavily on AI features. Recovered almost lost recording
After I recorded one of THE most important podcasts of my early career the guests recording failed to upload. After a few days of help the support team was able to retrieve the rest of my recording.

Changed their branding without even emailing me to let me know. I reported it as fraud, which cancelled my credit card. Not only that, they upped their charge amount on me, again without telling me, TWICE.

Would not trust these people as far as…
Would not trust these people as far as you can throw them. Whether or not you signed up yourself or someone else has with your details they will not issue you a refund and their confirmation/ impending payment emails go directly to spam which is quite convenient for them! Apparently they have no control where things land… I beg to differ seeing literally every other subscription service manages to communicate effectively. No good intent whatsoever, only the intention to garner as many unsolicited yearly subscriptions as possible. Spend your money elsewhere.

I had a client that had the worst sounding podcast ever. She was using another well known app that was so hard to figure out and had the worst sound quality. I tried a couple of different apps and ran across this one. THIS IS THE APP YOU NEED!!!!!!! even if you have a cheap temu or poor sounding recording it will give you the polish that you deserve. my client signed a 2 year exclusive contract with me based on this software and she didnt have the best recording material.

Horrible doesn’t do anything useful and on top of that they make it incredibly difficult to cancel without contacting them. When trying to it said I had the wrong email but clearly they have been sending me emails to that email so?
Piece of junk got charged for a full fing year and they don’t have the decency to even refund me.

Async really simplified my life
I’ve so much “suffer” for editing the sound of my podcast because I’m not really good with technology.Others platforms and logiciel was to much for me. I finally ask my fiancé how to do it and he recommended me async. It was so easy to do, in less than 30 minutes the episode was ready to be posted.
