The WG183E line trimmer you returned to us was thoroughly assessed by a technician, who confirmed that the damage to this tool resulted from no installation of the auxiliary handle, which helps to balance the weight of the trimmer, and improper maintenance, rather than a manufacturing defect, which unfortunately falls outside of our warranty coverage.
However, we note that you were able to keep the batteries from this tool which remain compatible with your other WORX products.
