We are happy for our staying in this hotel and resort, the staffs are very helpful, the foods are excellent, the room is nice.

We stayed there for 6 days at Bahia princip fantasia. On last day one of the staff was very rude and destroyed our whole experience. Not recommended honestly.

I visited another Bahia Principe location had an amazing time and was excited and looking forward to this desperately needed vacation. My best friend and I arrived at the hotel, processed to check in and Joan B confirmed the room ocean front, but with one king bed. I advised that I chose and booked double beds and he said there were no other ocean front with double beds available. He also said even tho I chose double beds I was still supposed to request double beds.
He then brings out manager Tania ( unhelpful and rude) who says the same and I ask her do they have the date that I booked and instead of her answering my question she proceeded to talk over me and said, we have people make reservations a year ago. That wasn't my question...I just wanted the date so I could look at my reservation confirmation in my email.
I stated online there was an option to choose double beds and/ or a king bed and I chose a double, there was no resolution but to bring a twin fold out bed for one of us to use.
I was also told I could downgrade to a pool view room, but I wouldn't get any refund in the difference in price.

After being repeatedly told the same thing and no other solution we decide to do the king bed since we would not get a refund or difference in a downgrade.

Overall disappointed with the website, and the service received from management and btw my email confirmation only stated it was a ocean front room, but no instructions to again choose a double or king bed even though I chose a double so why would I have to also request a double bed.

This is a website issue and I know management and Bahia Principe nor World of Hyatt ( Bahia Principe is now part of World of Hyatt ) will do anything, but I just wanna make others aware so they don’t have this issue. What a way to start my vacation.

Its the second time going to bahia I went to grand the 1st time and the second time I went to the Escape my experience was wonderful and relaxing the food was excellent...alot of times you go to these places and the food is a turn off but not Bahia! The service was excellent also the facility was clean and relaxing i enjoyed my stay and I do recommend bahia to anyone..

Just come back from my first ever staying bahia principe mexico wow what an experience we where in the sian kaan and it was amazing the food is 5* the resort is vast you can use all 5 hotels and facilities the staff are brilliant special shout out to enrique whos most helpful, carmel, zeidy antonio melissa and carlos at the smokehouse whos service was exeptional thank you all for a wonderful stay... Abigail also deserves a mention for her entertainment and fabian brilliant staff

We were pleasantly surprised by our experience at the hotel. The staff were always attentive, the food was excellent, and both the facilities and the location exceeded our expectations. Everything was five-star — we highly recommend it!

Where do I begin!? This resort is top notch! From cleaning crew, to grounds, to food service and Spa/ entertainment all were 10 out of 10 ~ I very much felt pampered and enjoyed the whole week. We had great weather and it only rained from 4- 530 every evening . ( I came in late Sept )
They all made you feel welcome with a smile
I felt there was food or drinks at my disposable any time of day . highly recommended even for a solo trip which I was by myself .

I have been traveling to the Bahia for the past 10 years and it is like my second home. The staff are courteous and helpful. I travel mostly solo and it is safe walking along the beach in the morning and excellent nature and birds. I love the choice of restaurants and fresh food at the buffets. As I know most of the staff it feels like family. Thanks for my vacation and I am back in December.

We’ve just returned from 5 nights at Bahia Principe Escape in Tenerife, staying as three friends celebrating two very special birthdays, and we had the most wonderful time. We absolutely loved this hotel!

The hotel itself is beautiful, luxurious and exceptionally clean. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and their warm service really added to the experience.

The pool was great and had such a relaxed, spacious feel. The hotel never felt busy or overcrowded, and we could always find a sunbed by the pool whenever we wanted one. It was the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the sunshine.

The buffet was plentiful, with fresh ingredients cooked to order alongside a fantastic variety of cuisines. There was always plenty of choice, and the food was fresh and delicious.

The drinks were brilliant too! We particularly enjoyed pink cava at breakfast, Aperol Spritz and cocktails at the pool bar, and drinks in the evening while listening to the live music in the main bar. It really added to the holiday atmosphere.

Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean and comfortable, with exceptionally comfortable beds!

Before travelling, I had read a review from August written by three friends who had a similar experience to us, but who had raised concerns about the bathroom configuration. As three friends sharing a room, this had made me a little apprehensive before our trip.

However, on arrival, we found the bathroom arrangement to be fine. We used the blind on the shower glass to separate the bathroom area from the bedroom, and there is also a sliding door that can be used across the toilet. We’re three good friends, which perhaps made it feel less problematic for us, but, we found no issue with the layout and navigated sharing the bathroom without any problems at all.

Overall, we had an amazing stay and couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate our special birthdays. We would return in a heartbeat and would definitely recommend Bahia Principe Escape!

This was our first stay at Bahia Principe Anbar and it has spoiled us for other resorts. Excellent service, staff, rooms, and above all the food!

Bahia Principe San Felipe
I got married 15 years ago in a Bahia Principe hotel in Jamacia and have since been to several of their hotels and loved them. We stayed at the San Felipe for the first time in July. My husband, 13 year old daughter and my dad. We were taken to our room which as a huge disappointment, it had a pool view caseu we could see it as there as a massive tree blocking the view from very angle, you couldn't see a thing by it. It was overhanging the balcony until the maintenance man came to cut it back. There was several things out of order, sinks in the toilet areas, vending machine, 2 machines in the very small gym were out of order for the duration of our stay which was really disappointing. There was no balls allowed in the pool, lots of families wanting to play in the pool with their children, only balls allowed in the baby pool which only up to your knees deep. The food was good, plenty of choice, the entertainment as very average and the entertainment staff were awful. After pool entertainment, one member of staff (the female entertainment member) proceed to pay with a ball with a group of guests she has become friendly with. The entertainment had finished at 3pm and he has changed out of her entertainment uniform to a bikini and played with a ball with her friends and when my husband got our ball to play with my 13 year old daughter, the female entertainment member told him it was not allowed despite her playing with her friends - when we called her out on it she told she would stop (obviously realised that she was in the wrong) and swam away calling my husband selfish. It was a disgusting way to treat the customers of the hotel and especially a guest. I had never seen such behaviour from a staff member anywhere. The hotel was tired but spotlessly clean and the grounds staff were brilliant, grounds were lovely. Overall I would not recommend this hotel, which is a shame because others in the chain have always been amazing

This is a very clean, modern hotel right by a lovely beach and close to shops and night life. Friendly staff are very helpful here. Highly recomend!

The whole experience at Bahia Principe Escspe Runaway Bay was truly amazing.
From food , Entertainment, and cleanliness truly 5*
Pool and grounds were immaculate
Food was amazing, there was always something delicious on the menu large selections.
The entertainment team was always getting you into a party mood . Always something going on at the main pool. But there was also pools where you could go relax in a more quiet setting.
Housekeeping kept the rooms fully stocked and spotless.
In the evening when we would go down for dinner, Housekeeping would come and turn down the beds.
I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS RESORT EVERY TIME.
We will certainly be going back with our friends .

Our stay of which was our 15th was. Absolutely fantastic eveything w as perfect From the moment we walked into our room to the very last time we walked out wow. W hen we visit next time it will be THE CLUB once again Infinity pool the lounge the sun beds the premium drinks the snacks the peacefulness the time w e spent together was PERFECT The food the staff the atmosphere w as perfect Thanks to all the staff Jackie Darren

We (7) were there 07/30/26 - 08/02/26. Its was awesome, there were no issues, the staff was AMAZING, always so nice and friendly. Food was awesome and drinks were perfect. We all talked about what a great time we had, we wish it was longer. I would definitely go back.

Great staff and facilities. Would recommend San Felipe, Tenerife Bahia Proncipe to anyone

We would like to express the following misfortunes during our recent holiday at your Hotel...please see as follows:

COMMUNICATION PROBLEM
Many Frontline staff did not possess good conduct of English...much difficulty expressing things of concern in all areas...

BROKEN PLATES
Were served during our stay in the Restaurants..when we mentioned to staff - they thought it was not a problem...Very unhygienic and unexpected !

ACCOMMODATION
Unexpected experiences from a 5 Star Resort...Leaking in Bathroom & Shower Areas which is a huge safety hazard !
Stained Towels on daily basis...2 x Broken Bins...Broken Bath Tub...Broken already Fridge...already moved twice due failures in each Accommodation...

We were actually quite fed up of moving all the time during our stay and refused to move again !
As we already spent most of our precious time moving !

UNBELIEVABLE...
Stained Towels delivered to Premium Accommodation on daily basis...which was highlighted to Reception by physically taking the Towels to Reception...but to no avail as it just kept happening again and again !

RESTAURANTS
INDIAN Restaurant was not authentic & Staff doesn't understand or have much knowledge re the Menu...also very little spoken English...

Very bad odour in another Restaurant on site...
We absolutely refused to eat there due extreme hygiene reasons ! Broken Plates once again...

STAFF
Staff in general require much Training with being Professional with Etiquette...and not give empty promises when they cannot be met !

LAST DAY
On our last day once we checked out...its as if staff just did not care anymore ...Our transport was refused entry to collect us from Reception Area, and we were actually expected go with ALL our luggage to the Barriers at the beginning of the Entrance to the Hotel Grounds for our transport back to Airport...when we questioned the guard there - we did receive a straight answer and denied that the Driver even being there ...despite the Driver's efforts to collect us from Reception !

The above mentioned are just a few aspects we had to endure during our vacation...

This is highly unacceptable and unbelievable of a 5* Star Resort !

Please be advised that we have saved and saved...and had longed to visit your island for a very long time...and we actually came in Double Celebrations due to my Husband's Special Birthday and our 15 Year Anniversary...despite our long standing efforts...time and money spent to have a vacation on your island...we certainly did not expect such a low standard from a 5* Resort and certainly did not go towards a good memory !
