I ordered a birthday cake 10 days…
I ordered a birthday cake 10 days before delivery. It wasn’t delivered on the requested date or the next day. I contacted the company. They said they couldn’t find the address. They said since I didn’t pay for insurance (which was another add on fee) I wouldn’t get another cake or a refund. Wow. They never contacted me saying they were having trouble finding the address. They never contacted me to say the cake wasn’t being delivered. I heard from them only after I sent an email asking where the cake was. I’m out $93.99.

I thought I put no writing but there was still writing on the cake. Also it didn’t really travel too well, 2 of the frostings were messed up. I fixed one before I took the pic. I haven’t tasted it yet tho, so I’m hoping that it’s good at least. :)

Beware hot weather
The outside packaging was very warm and the inside packaging was wet, probably condensation from the melted ice pack. The cake was wrapped in plastic so at least it was safe. The cake was warm and melted, looking a bit like a deflated football. Put it in the freezer as soon as I got it in the house. I'm sure it will still taste fine but for the amount paid I would have liked a cake that looked good too.

Delivery was timely each time. The first time, my cake was beautiful. The flavor was inedible. It had a Vaseline taste to it. I wrote an email to them telling them about it, they wouldn’t refund my money, but gave me a voucher for another cake. The second time the cake looks thrown together and like they threw the cake up against a wall before they packaged it. I would not order from them again.

I spent over 70 dollars with shipping…
I spent over 70 dollars with shipping for a 7 inch pumpkin cheesecake so I was expecting a high end product. The box was nice but the cake came delivered as a mushed up mess. I understand it’s difficult to ship frozen bakery products but I’ve done it before- for instance with the Maine Pie Company and never had a problem. For this kind of pricing there should be a guarantee that a decent product will arrive.
